"Great Turkey Vacay
Great spacious condo with fantastic views of the ocean. Location was amazing as its walking distance to retail and dinning. Rental company was helpful in resolving an issue with the dryer. We hope to return next Thanksgiving! "

"Shorewood 201
We have stayed at this resort in the past, but not this particular condo. This was the most I have EVER paid for a condo in HHI, but we were booking later in the year so I assumed it was what it was. We checked in on Saturday afternoon and was pleased with the location of the condo and the decor. However it was not cleaned to our satisfaction. We traveled with two grandbabies, so we just cleaned it up. I did message the contact on Tues to express my concerns and let them know and they replied that we "could have told sooner and they would have had the cleaners come back". We expected it to be clean when we arrived and did not want cleaners back in the condo with our two grandchildren interrupting our time. When I took the first shower in the primary, wads of hair floated up and around my feet. It did not drain well all week. The air vents had tons of dust around them. We found a super nice pair of mens shoes in the closet which leads me to believe it was not ever opened and linens changed as they were just thrown in and not folded. There was a red sparkly fingernail clipping in the bed. The vanities had been sprayed but not wiped and there were globs all over them. I have pics of these things. Twin beds were very uncomfortable. I own a real estate/property managment co in my hometown and own an AirBNB in the Smoky Mts. I would have tried to make some restitution when alerted, however none was made when I asked. I expected to at least receive our cleaning $ back. I would stay at Shorewood again, but not 201."

"Review: Shorewood Villas 201
Shorewood has a great beachfront location for many reasons. The exterior property is well maintained. We did not need to interact with the management company.
Our unit #201 is a corner, 3 bedroom unit on the 2nd level with an ocean view.
The unit is in need of several areas of maintenance to its furniture, some Living Room shades and appliances. Repairs: refrigerator door, ice maker, shelf bracket; microwave light is out; middle bathroom had a mirror off the upper left side hinge and the water from the shower was rusty at first, then, cleared up; we didn’t need fans, but the black fan in the guest king bedroom was broken; Master bedroom ceiling fan light was out with no cover shade, the window was broken which we couldn’t open, probably our biggest disappointment; the Living room rug was dirty as well as some other areas.
We would look for another unit if the above were not addressed.
Recommend with strong reservations."

"wonderful week and a half
We have stayed at 201 for the last 7 years and it feels like our 2nd home. We really love this unit and Shorewood. The refrig door does not close completely and the repair man was in to work on the ice maker but we still had no ice. We also would have liked to have a broom to sweep up the floors and the patio. "

"Beautiful condo, wonderful view
Everything was as expected. It was a very spacious 3 bedroom condo that was beautifully decorated in an amazing location.
The downside was the smell of the condo. It was VERY musty and we couldn’t clear it out. For that reason, I probably wouldn’t stay here again. I didn’t get a response from the office when asking for help with it. Also, there was no shower curtain in one of the bathrooms, we had to use the other bathrooms for showers. "

"Perfect spot for a Beach Stay
We had a wonderful time at 201 Shorewood. The views are incredible. Its a 5-10 minute walk to Celebration Park and Coligny. The villa was clean and accommodating for a young family. "

We have been coming to Hilton Head island for over 25 years now and are never disappointed ! This visit is no different ! This condo has been updated and was comfortable and inviting . It had everything we needed with beautiful views, lots of room to spread ourselves out , a well supplied kitchen and comfortable beds . We love that this property is corner unit so we see the amazing views of the beach and the pool. Beautiful property with new remodel bathrooms. 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms is wonderful, plenty of space. "Beautiful Ocean Views
The condo was spacious and up to date with beautiful new bathrooms and a gorgeous view of the ocean. Overall we were happy with the condo but it did need some TLC. It needed a deep clean, floors and area rugs were dirty. It would have helped if there was a broom or vacuum available as well. The staff were amazing with any issues or concerns we had, answered/fixed immediately. "

Unit partially renovated (bathrooms 2 & 3 could use a little TLC) and twin bedroom was a little tight for two adult men but overall the unit met all our needs. "Great location- but very crowded and loud this week
We have stayed at the Shorewood property for over 12 years at various condos. We like this unit the best bc of the location to pool and ocean... normally. We usually go in June. July was overcrowded. Great location. Very Clean. Multiple families were staying in the units both above and below our unit were very noisy- sometimes until 1 AM.
The pool was packed and people decided to play loud music during the day there which made it feel much less family friendly than usual and more spring break.
Our check in was much slower than in past years as well. The property was cleaned and ready at 1 PM yet we were not given the code until almost 5 PM - the rental office said they were short staffed for inspecting the property and this caused the delay. We really like Shorewood, but we will not go back here in July. again.

"Great location/nice views
Great location for walking to shops, eats, drinks. Rooms were spacious and bedding was plentiful and comfortable. Lots of windows and light, but nice blackout curtains to get it good and dark when needed. Bathrooms were mediocre - poor lighting, noisy fans, 2 out of 3 not updated, master shower not very clean upon arrival. Flat screen TVs in every room, but all were low quality and small.
Since condo sleeps 6, would have been nice to have enough seating for 6 on balcony.
Hot tub was always crowded with people day and night, so we were not able to use it, and the pool was not heated in December. HOA should reconsider this; it was 70 degrees while we were there. Construction was in progress on nearby units, but thankfully not close enough to be too disturbing.
Overall, an enjoyable stay, and we would stay here again, although I think I would prefer to stay in a higher up unit for better views of the ocean."

We had another great vacation at Shorewood. We love the location! We were less than pleased with being notified two different time right before vacation due to construction. Otherwise this stay gets two thumbs up."

While the property looks lovely in pictures, the furniture is quite cheap, the bathrooms need updating, and it was extremely dirty. While it did not meet our standards, the management company was responsive when we reached out and drove over to seek understanding on whether unexpected construction would interrupt our stay. We appreciated this; however, this unit needs a deep cleaning. We would not rent this property again."

"Beach week
The property and location were excellent. But we did encounter a few issues. The air conditioning did not work well in 2 was hot & muggy. Fans helped but not great for sleeping. They checked it out and said the unit was new. The dryer was broken and ripped 2 items of clothing. The managers did replace it the next day. There was a very strong "sulfur" smell in the washing machine water and the master bathroom. Had to "live" with it. Very little storage for beach items and bathroom items. The unit is beautiful, we loved the location and the pool. The dining/living area was beautiful and spacious. Not sure we will book this unit again mostly because of the A/C problems."

"Great location!
Our condo was very nicely decorated and in a stellar location. We did have an issue with the master bath shower drain clogging up. We had to buy drain cleaner to remedy the situation. Also the queen bed in the back bedroom could use a new mattress. The condo kitchen was well stocked."
