We loved our week in this condo! Great location. Beautifully decorated. Lots of ceiling fans. Especially loved the screened porch, open porch and grill. Short walk to the beach on shady bike/walking path. Lots of natural light. You don’t want to miss this place! Will def book this one again!"

"Great place to stay!
Great location!! Villa was clean and nicely decorated. The only issue we had was with upstairs toilet. I called maintenance and they came the Same day and fixed it! He was also curious when I ask him about a sea. Pines pass and issues one for the week at no extra cost to me! I definitely recommend staying here! We also really loved and enjoyed the screens in deck. "

"Last summer vacation with grandkids before school starts
Upon entering, the unit seemed fresh and clean. While unpacking we noticed a mold smell coming from master shower. After further inspection there was black mold on shower walls and floor. I chose to clean myself since it was obvious the housekeeping didn’t clean properly for sometime. Loose floor tiles in both bathrooms, over an 1” debris under couch. Upon leaving, we noticed black mold on ceiling at front door. 2 beach chairs broken, rugs had a ton of sand in them. Close proximity to beach with bike-4mins. We contacted hhi rental company about all things listed above. Never heard back from them. Wouldn’t recommend"

"Beautiful condo! Perfect location
We were so pleasantly surprised by this condo. It has been updated since the photos we saw. New flooring throughout and some nice new touches in the living room. So this condo is even better than we expected. It is a two minute bike ride or 4 to 5 minute easy walk to the beach however there is an alternate access 4 minutes bike ride in the other direction that we enjoyed more. Pool was awesome & we will definitely stay here again. "

"Nice but dangerous
We enjoyed our stay but the place wasn't very clean. There was dog hair every where , the couch had lots of stains, and the floor needed to be mopped. So we went to the store to get things to clean. Once we took care of the previously mentioned, it was very comfortable and enjoyable. Also, there is an appliance in the kitchen that is not grounded (either the microwave or toaster oven) because we got shocked a few times when touching both...which is really dangerous. The owner is rather slow to respond to messages (took over 24 hours to get a response) so we didn't let him know as our stay was coming to an end. Hopefully the owner will read this review and fix that problem immediately. Overall a good time and we will definitely rent again if the'shock' issue is resolved. "

"Sisters Getaway!
The condo was exactly as described in the listing. Upon arrival we found everything cleaned and in order. The kitchen was fully stocked with necessary appliances, utensils, dishes etc and we enjoyed making breakfast each morning. The pool was cleaned daily and maintained well. We sat on the deck and sipped wine nightly reminiscing about many things. Overall perfect experience and wonderful stay. We would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay here again when in the area."

"Nice beach condo in South Forest Beach
The condo was clean, nicely furnished and decorated, with updated kitchen and bathrooms, and comfortable beds. The master king bed had a firm, foam mattress. There were 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a small loft upstairs. The laundry room and half bath were on the first floor. Nice, small deck with patio furniture. The pool was very close, right in the condo's backyard, and clean. It was a bit of a walk to the beach (this is subjective, I know), a little too far for us. Next time, we'll stay closer to the beach. Probably a 10 minute walk down a sandy path through the trees. 4 aluminum beach chairs with backpack straps and 2 bikes provided. The beach chairs were lightweight and easy to carry on your back. Two parking spots right in front of the condo's front door, which was very nice for unloading.
There are LOTS of restaurants and shopping nearby. We spent most of our time at the beach, in the pool and at restaurants.
Overall, a relaxing, fun stay."

"Great place and Location
Everything was wonderful with the property and the location. So nice to have the extra bikes and beach chairs. Would come back next year. Just not happy about the cleaning company. They didn't show up until after 4 pm. We didn't get in until after 5:30 pm. and they did a terrible job. It took us an hour to clean the place."

"Family friendly Location
We loved the location! Close walk to the beach via sand path. The only negative was the lack of cleaning that was done before we arrived. There were used juice boxes under the nightstands, used shampoo in the shower, Cheetos under the coffee table etc. other than that we loved the condo! Step up the cleaning and we’ll be back!"

"Our HHI vacation in Ocean Villas
We absolutely loved the condo!! The location was great and just a short walk or bike ride to the beach. It was spacious, clean and suited our needs perfectly as a home away from home. "Awesome return to our favorite vacation spot!
We had not been to Hilton Head for a number of years and we found this beautiful rental on . It's a spacious villa with large bedrooms and a contemporary kitchen that has all you need. The loft area was a little tight for the kids but they didn't mind. The walk to the beach was a breeze, just down the lane a bit, across the road and straight to a great spot on the beach. It was not crowded while we were there. My wife calls it my happy place, just sitting in the sand, looking at the water and enjoying some sun. The kids had a ball riding the surf. We cooked out on the nice gas grill and the deck overlooks the pool. The bikes were a real nice addition. We had a broken beach chair and the rental company replaced all four in a matter of hours--nice! We were super happy with our vacation and we would come back to the Ocean Gate Villas!"

"Nice condo but beach walk was not what I expected.
The condo is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Plenty of room for 5 or 6 people to sleep; however, the master bed is pretty soft. The condo could have been cleaned a little better: popcorn, a sock and water bottle all within sight under the sofa and the downstairs bathroom was a little gross. My biggest concern was the long walk to the beach on a rough and narrow path. Difficult to pull a wagon with things needed for the beach. "
