"Stay at 40 Ocean Breeze
This was a great rental and I can't say enough about the customer service with Island Rentals! The unit was beautiful, clean and very roomy. We had a small problem with a bathtub drain and the dryer and Island Rentals always answered our calls and sent out someone to attend to it within an hour or two! They were truly great to work with and we will use Island Rentals for all of our future stays in Hilton Head! "

"Beautiful Island Stay
This condo is gorgeous. Out the back door is a little lagoon filled with turtles. It wasn’t uncommon to see a little lizard scuttling across the deck. We were a short walk from coligny beach, shops, and restaurants. There are plenty of grocery stores near by as well. There was plenty of space for all of us for both sleeping and lounging in the living room. All of the amenities made it feel like we were staying in our own home. I can’t wait to go back "

"Very Nice Winter Getaway
We visited for 3 weeks and enjoyed our stay immensely. The accommodations were great. The fact that our townhome was pet friendly made it just what we needed. The layout of the home was nice with a well equipped kitchen and good internet access and TV."

"Ocean Breeze-Great
Townhouse was really nice. Very nice neighborhood. Location to the beach was a 5 minute bike ride. The kitchen was totally stocked with everything you needed. The house was very clean. The master bedroom mattress was comfortable however the other ones were not. They were very firm! We loved the island and enjoyed biking everywhere!"

"Enjoyable Family Vacation !
Our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Close enough to beach and shopping to walk or bike. Great amenities. Only issue we had was with the dishwasher. Not all the water drains out even when pushing the drain button on the machine. "

"We had FUN!!
My family and I had such a great time . They were taking about coming back before we even left the place! The staff was super helpful and responsive to our needs. Had some minor bathroom issues that were fixed that day and it was Labor Day ! Shout out to Jay!! The kitchen was equipped very well, rooms were comfy and the extras for the beach was a such a thoughtful gesture. "

I like the place. My biggest frustation was the first floor shower's hande did'nt work at all. When I called the property management company, they know the handle didn't work. The management company address the the handle on Monday of our stay . It just something I didn't want to deal on my vacation"

"Review of 40 Ocean Breeze
Went with family and two dogs for a week. Since this was my first time renting in this complex I wasn't sure but it was fantastic! The rooms are very spacious and everything was very clean. Having the bikes added was a really fun experience that we probably wouldn't have done on our own, so that was great. I agree with the other reviews that you really need to provide guidance on the quickest path to the beach, you don't have to walk all the way to Coligny to get to the beach access, which is what we originally thought. Once we figured that out it was very simple! Having three pools was also very nice, everyone at the complex was very polite and helpful."

"Great townhouse and location!
We had a great time riding the bikes around - loved having them included in rental. Unit was very spacious and bedrooms well separated. Did have trouble with the operation of the tv and there needs to be instructions. No house book found. I'd book again if I am in Hilton Head. Did miss the 4 beach chairs."

"Roomy, nice townhouse.
This is a well-decorated, roomy and nice place. Beach access was a little hard to figure out but it's pretty easy once you do. Property management was helpful and responsive. The best part is that such a nice townhome is in a complex which accepts dogs!! You'll enjoy it here and it's very close to bike paths and Coligney."

My experience with island Rentals of HH was excellent. They are very responsive and there were a few issues they had to respond.
Sink clogged that needed their attention. They were there promptly
Unit is in pretty good shape overall. But kitchen pots and pans are not useable.. scarred rusted Teflon. Every available cabinet is filled with glasses, dishes etc.. no place open for food storage. I actually went to home goods and purchased 3 pans to be used. Complex was undergoing painting. Windows were painted shut so I went and spoke to painters who came over and used their knife to unseal them. Lagoon needs “ work”. Lawn furniture, umbrellas, debris floating around. So that was less than attractive. Location is convenient though. "

"Beautiful Condo
Very spacious for a family of 6 with 2 dogs. Great location, close to everything. The only issue we had was the dryer. I had to set it 5 times to do 1 load. My husband is a contractor and suggests you may need to clean lint out of vent. It gets hot, so its not your element. Other then that, it was perfect."

The unit was accurately represented by the pictures. The beach was walking distance. We had plenty of room for our family of 6. Two of the bikes had issues with the chains, but we called and they replaced the bikes the same day. The kitchen has everything you would need to exist in your home away from home. The unit was as expected. The one issue we had was that the dryer takes quite a while to dry clothes but I imagine that the appliances get a great deal of use. "

"Needs a lot of attention.
The property is in a great location. Expect a 15-minute walk to the beach. The condo itself wasn't clean. ledges, the tops of appliances, baseboards, etc. all covered in dirt, hair, dust. Dirt, soda residue, and lotion on the surfaces in the master bedroom. Blankets missing in the doubles bedroom. Kitchen appliances dated and missing parts, not cleaned inside. The deck area hasn't been washed in ages, the grill is disgusting. The dryer element is almost gone, expect several cycles to dry thoroughly. Upstairs smoke detector was detached and laying on the banister. This place needs a lot of work. "

"7 Day Summer Vacation at Ocean Breeze
This unit is very hard to find even someone who has stayed in Tree Tops/Ocean Breeze before. Upon arrival I had to wipe the kitchen counters down myself with a paper towel and floor cleaner because there was no cleaner in the unit except floor cleaner. No starter items such as dish detergent or any dish cloths at all! Had to go buy detergent and sponges the first evening. The couches were comfortable but also could use a cleaning. The dishwasher was full of DIRTY dishes. Believe the sign on the refrigerator because the fridge took at least 12 hours to get COOL then everything froze! Parking is ridiculously tight! And the 3 times I called (1 to reserve, 2 to complete my payment and 3 to report the refrigerator issue I spoke to a very rude fellow... didn't get his name! Oh and the dryer washed jam packed with lint! Pretty place needs better management and cleaning staff! "

"A great family vacay!
First of all this was our first time in Hilton Head and let me just say...its gorgeous! The ideal setting for relaxation��we really enjoyed how the villas were within a hidden community and included everything we needed. The beach chairs, bicycles, having multiple was all so amazing! The walk to the beach from the villa is a little longer than it advertised, but still doable, especially by bike. The weather was gorgeous. Enjoyed the electric grill cooked on it almost every day! Ice maker was super helpful in having ice everyday. Villa was nicely decorated and clean. Really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. We asked for a late check out and it was granted no hesitation thank you! Also we did not have our parking passes in our folder when we arrived but got them the very next morning. It was VERY pet friendly which was nice to see. A very friendly community and beautiful place to vacation. I could see my family coming back here for years to come! Also great price compared to some of the nearby resorts. Thank you so much����"

"August 2020 Vacation
Location was great! The space the unit had and the set up of the rooms was very good. The issue we had with the unit was the cleanliness. It was very dirty! The floors, rugs, and furniture need to be deep cleaned by a professional cleaning company. The comforters on the beds were also very dirty. I would not recommend this unit to friends or family. The blinds on main floor bedroom were broken in many sections and people walking by could see into the unit. This should be replaced! Some sections of the vinyl floor near the main level bedroom and bath area was coming up and needs a repair too. "

"40 Ocean Breeze - July 2020
A week on HHI is a week much better than the other 51 in a year and 40 Ocean Breeze is a great value for money place to spend it. Great sized unit which comfortably housed 6 adults and proximity to the pools, beach and Coligny were pluses. There were some general cleanliness issues: Dusty tables and ceiling fans, dog hair in the unit, and sand in one set of linens upon arrival. Also, note that although two parking spots are allotted, the parking lot is very tight and large vehicles struggle to get a spot back by the unit. Even with the issues we enjoyed our stay and will consider it again for our next trip. "

"Great Location
Good experience-very roomy rental, a bit older but served our purpose very nicely! Close to the beach and restaurants, great dog walking areas nearby. Friendly neighbors, lots of parking. Appliances a bit dated, and refrigerator temp difficult to control (very cold, even on lowest setting), but his was a minor issue-kept our beer and white wine nicely chilled!"

"Family Get-a-Way
We stayed at 40 Ocean Breeze. It is in a good location, about 1/4 mile from the beach. Easy to walk. Bikes provided are in good condition. House was clean. Pool in the common area was nice. Only downside to this rental was there was no hairdryer and any small kitchen necessities like salt, pepper, Pam were not provided. I called to get a hairdryer and my calls and emails were never answered. I have never stayed anywhere before where one was not included in the rental. Also THE Beach Chairs provided are in very poor conditions. One more thing, we were supposed to be able to check in by 3 pm we arrived at 4:30 pm and the cleaning people were still there."

"Location location
Great location. Nice to have bikes. Pictures were accurate. I would suggest a better cleaning service. Blinds, window sashes covered with layers of dust. Dust bunnies every where upstairs. Dropped something had to look under the bed for it, found a pair of women's panties. That grossed me out. We had an issue with the refrigerator, called and got immediate resolution. Parking is an issue, not owners fault but design. There was stains on the sheets. They need to be replaced."

"Perfect getaway
We always like to stay in Coligny/forest beach area. Ocean Breeze was a new property for us. It was a great location. We looked at something closer to beach, but having the bikes included and a tennis court on site tipped the scales. It took no time to ride path to beach. Adler Beach is very clean and quiet and easy. Nice and helpful neighbors around us. The unit was clean and well stocked and looked like the photos- no surprises."
