"Comfortable and Clean
Everything was nice and clean. Keurig did not work so they replaced it same day. View of golf course is nice and super close to the Sea Pines Resort and Beach."

"Feb/ March 2024 Stay
Plantation Club Villas are in an excellent location- love it and Island Rentals- we’ve been using them for many years- very satisfied. Mgr. Is always helpful. We probably won’t stay in #473 again, however, for a few reasons:
1) Other PC villas have a better view of the golf course
2) Many of the furnishings in 473 need some updating ( vinyl lounge chair is Very Squeaky when feet are up, edge of bedspread was held together with safety pins, need better lighting in the kitchen/ under the cabinets perhaps)
3) #473 is on 3rd floor- need to make sure elevator works before you move in - it was broken when we arrived so had to call maintenance to assist- had to walk heavy luggage up the stairs
Otherwise, we were comfortable staying here: kitchen is well equipped, good tv, equipment for the beach, puzzles in the closet

"Family vacation
473 Plantation Club was a great spot for our family of 5 to vacation for the week. We love the proximity to the beach club and the easy bike ride to Sea Pines Shopping Center. The unit was clean and somewhat updated. The beds were very comfortable and everyone slept great the entire stay. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the washer and dryer worked great. The only criticism I have for the unit is that it’s in desperate need of a dehumidifier. The musty smell was a lot to take in for the week. We found ourselves having to crack windows and the sliding door to get fresh air into the unit. "

"Perfect location at Plantation Club
This is our 6th time to stay in Plantation Club villas- all have been great in either condos or 2 story villas. 473 Plantation Club has a more “ remote” outdoor porth” as it’s set back and to the side of the building but it was still very enjoyable and had better shade even though the golf course fairway was harder to view. The condo was clean and comfortable. The location was ideal, with the ocean a 1/2 mile away and The Beach Club and Sea Pines Center very close. Kitchen appliances were adequate. The dishwasher needs to be updated: seems old and the door latch is weak. Also would have liked a refrigerator that had an ice machine and fresh water. Otherwise, we loved it, and are staying there again next spring.

"Location is great!
Good location near to beach and plantation golf club. Elevator made it easy to get to 4th floor unit. Furniture is dated and one recliner would not keep foot elevated. Reported to staff and no change after their visit while we were out. and carpet in bedrooms needs to be replaced. Small balcony overlooking golf course was ok. Unit needs a little TLC. Lots of towels supplied. Didn’t use bikes as they were covered with green droppings from nearby trees. "

"Great Location
We have stayed in this Plantation Club complex before and enjoy the units and location. Close to everything in Sea Pines. Furnishings are great. Quiet location, great beds, bathrooms and kitchens. The newer vinyl flooring is on the low quality end with a couple of spots where the installers went right over something peppercorn size. Kitchen could use a few pot holders and scrubby pads. There was a leak under the sink that Island Rentals had fixed asap that morning for us. The unit was good value for the money!"

"Girls Trip
I brought my daughters for a 5 day stay. The location is great! We love Hilton Head. This property needs some attention. There is an overall musty smell in the condo. The master bathroom toilet/shower area is very smelly. The master bedroom has a strong smell, too. The carpet needs to be removed from the master."

"Wonderful stay
The place is beautiful, good condition. It was clean upon arrival. It is located 1/2 mile from the Beach Club- short walk or bike ride. We did not use the bikes provided but ordered our own. We never could figure out how to turn on the tv, but it may have been user error. Highly recommend this place to stay!"

"Disappointed
The review from June 2021 was correct. The whole condo smelled moldy, the vents were gross, the master bath floor has black mold, the walls are dusty, the floor has dust in all of the corners, only one kitchen trash bag provided (only needed 2 so buying a box wasn't great and all the other trash cans had an extra in the bottom but they were too small for the kitchen) and the sink needs to be cleaned and repaired. The garbage disposal did not work and both recliners were broken. Pros: location, bikes provided, beach chairs and other equipment provided, AC and fridge kept cool enough, coded front door was convenient."

"Needs Maintenance Badly
Great location and have stayed in Plantation Club numerous times.
In 20 years of staying at HHI, this unit was most notably the worst unit in both cleanliness and maintenance, despite the pictures and how the unit is portrayed.
The issues on the unit consisted of the following: people’s clothing left in drawers from prior stay, dishwasher full and not cleaned or emptied, hairs around toilets and shower, clogged drain in master bath sink, loose faucets in second bathroom, dusty on all surfaces above 4 ft, mold all over sealing in the master bedroom, musty smelling unit and missing pillow in guest room.
I called the first night regarding the property; which the office was quick to respond and offer to send a cleaning crew out the next day; however we had already re-cleaned the unit. I have reached out to the property management several times immediately following our stay, but can't get a response.
I would look elsewhere until the problems can be addressed."

"Convenient location
There were 3 of us adults on a golfing vacation and this condo was in a great location for our stay in Hilton Head. We were happy that we had an elevator up to our unit on the 3rd floor after a long day of golf. It was within walking distance to both the private beach and the Harbour lighthouse area. We would definitely consider staying again. Thanks. "

"could use some maintenance
The unit could use some TLC. Remove the ironing board that doesn't fold down and takes up the whole closed in the guest bedroom. TV in guestroom faces a wall. TV's not set to come on easily. Inside of kitchen cabinets are filled to overflowing. No place to put groceries. Remove mildewed and rotting fake plant on porch. Master bath drawers filled with black hairs. This part is really weird - a very small frog climbed out of the guest bathroom sink drain.
Furniture was comfortable, view was great and beds were comfortable. I would recommend this property after some TLC is accomplished."

"Musty and Disappointing
Main bedroom was musty, likely from mildew. We should have requested to move to another unit. Someone from cleaning crew or approval staff should have smelled the problem and gotten it fixed before renting condo to us. Very disappointed. "

"Beach GetAway with Family of 5
The stay was great and the place has been nicely updated. It was about a 15 minute walk to the beach or less than 10 minute bike ride. It is centrally located so you can bike anywhere. The pool is right next door (the Plantation Complex to the right). The condo had beach chairs and beach toys as well as everything we would need for the kitchen. We definitely enjoyed our last minute getaway and plan to come back."

"October Island Getaway
We had a great time. The accommodations were perfect for 4 adults. The kitchen had everything we needed and the coffee maker worked great. The management company communicated all the details in advance and even sent us a Sea Pines gate pass. The bikes were well maintained and the TV had a good channel selection."

"473 Plantation HHI
Property is very behind on maintenance and generally outdated. There were multiple appliances and such that were non-functional or not up to standard, there were many issues with dirt, grime, etc. The location is excellent and is within Plantation Club, convenient to the beach by bike. Have stayed at other Plantation Club condos, have a friend who owns one across the parking lot - will NOT stay in this particular property again."

We had a wonderful time..Location, the bikes, size of unit were perfect. Bathroom needs updating, mold on ceiling, towel rack and shower curtain, yuck. Dusty. This is our second visit to the Plantation Club (different Unit) we would go to same location again"

"Very Nice Place!
The unit was really great; clean, spacious and fully stocked with anything you would want. We’ve stayed in a lot of rental condos, and this was by far the best. The location couldn’t be beat and it was easy to use the bikes they provided to tour around Sea Pines. The view out the balcony was wonderful too....a serene golf course with beautiful landscaping. I loved being on the 3rd floor. "

The condo was pretty, spacious, and clean. The beach was a short, easy walk away. Sea Pines is a lovely little beach community. Our host, Travis answered our call promptly and was very helpful when we had a question. Our only complaint was the week went to quickly! "Winter Get-away
First time stay on Hilton Head getting away from the snows of Michigan. Pick this place by chance and pleasantly surprised. Good layout, quiet end unit. Location better than I expected. Two minute walk to two pools. 10 minute walk to beach club and ocean. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Kitchen fully stocked with pots and pans. Met all our important needs: Location, security of Sea Pines, and everything worked. Already booked for next year. "
