"October Hilton Head visit
Our rental was very small and uncomfortable. The bedding was old and did not smell or feel good. There was no closet to hang clothes. A wall cabinet hung high beside the bed had a rod in it for hanging things if you could reach it with a chair. Our patio door was broken and maintenance had to come and remove the broken lock. The patio wood was cracked and rotted in several places and did not look safe. We went about out outings and events but the condo was uncomforable and disappointing."

"110 Breakers HHI
Unsatisfied with our unit and the appliances in it.

-the icemaker did not work, I called on this but was only told "thanks for letting us know" and nothing on this is what we can do to help ie; delivery of ice or ice trays so I could make my own....nothing

-the cable on the tv only worked in the living room and not in the bedroom.....also pointed out.

-I could not get the dishwasher to work.

-we didn't have enough garbage bags to fully clear out all of our food products in the kitchen.

- there was an old mattress thrown out in the bottom section where bikes are stored.

I requested a reimbursement for at least one nights stay but haven't received a response yet.

"GREAT location but needs TLC
This is a great location to park your car and not have to drive your entire stay, Everything is within walking distance. Good beach views and easy walk to the beach. The unit itself could use a lot of TLC. It was dated, needed a fresh paint job, could use new tile or lvp throughout. It was missing doors to laundry and door hardware to master. The rear sliding door didn’t lock. The porch deck boards were loose and needed to be secured or really just replaced. The kitchen is small, but functional. The front door is missing a door sweep so there’s a big gap at the bottom, but surprisingly we didn’t see any bugs during our stay. The furniture looks older. The mattress needs to be replaced, you will end up in the middle close to your partner. So, if your looking for room to stretch out this isn’t the right bed and bring your own pillows. This is not a 5 star place, so have the right expectations when you walk in and stay there just for the convenience and location."

"Nice view
Great view, unit was comfortable, bed, sofa and deck furniture. Very nice kitchen. Would rent again IF deck is repaired, old floor boards were cracked and unhinged in areas, not secure. Nice new appliances, but dishwasher was not connected, nor was clothes washer. Coffee machine was not functioning but was quicly replaced by Seashore vacation company. The unit also needs to be repainted, walss and doir were quite dirty and scuffed."

"Not what we expected.
The view was not nearly as good as the picture as the dunes have grown quite a bit since then. The washer didn't work then the dishwasher didn't work. We wound up moving after 2 days to another condo at the complex the management company graciously offered us. "

"Not a good stay
This place was dirty and in serious need of an update! The floors were dirty and there is mold around the registers. When we arrived, there was old coffee in the coffee pot! Gross! The bathroom tile looks like an amateur installed it. We complained to management and they immediately moved us to a different unit.
Ther is certainly no pride of ownership and I would not recommend this place!"

"Noisy and needs (a lot of) work - GREAT location though!!
The overall experience with Seashore Vacations was fine. The Coligny area is our favorite and has so much within walking distance that a car is hardly needed. All of my issues are related to the unit itself. We have stayed in the Breakers a few times before and it is our go to for no kids weekends. This unit is one unit away from being the last unit on the Ocean side of the building very close to the main HHI public beach access and only separated by a fence. Unfortunately there was a "free concert" (live music band) playing all day Saturday and fairly loud recorded music playing all day Sunday. The constant Bass could be heard (almost felt) INSIDE the unit, with the doors closed, and any hopes of sitting on the balcony reading and relaxing were quickly gone. The inside of the condo had the fit and finish of DIY craftsmanship and the bathroom tile looked like it had been laid by a first timer. All of the air returns had mold surrounding them and the tile floor had a layer of greasy sand on it that prohibited even thinking about going barefoot. We tried to sweep but it didn't help at all. Also, be very careful when going out on the back deck as there are more rotten boards than there are safe ones. I also tried the pull out sofa bed one night and it was in the top ten of the worst mattresses I have ever paid to sleep on. I am not trying to be mean or vengeful about anything here I am just telling you what I, as a seasoned HHI (and The Breakers) traveler, took away from the experience."

"Breaker 110
I want to begin saying that the property management company was great. We called a day in and stated that the condo was still dirty. They said to go enjoy our day and that a cleaning crew would be back to clean. After they cleaned, we enjoyed our vacation much better. In the beginning, the floors were sticky/still sandy, hair in the bathtub, and bar soap residue on the tub ledge, and cups/bowls still dirty in the cabinet. We do understand that that some sand will find a way into the condo with being in direct view of the ocean.

Again, we do not believe this reflected in any way toward the property management group. I wanted to address some other concerns that pertains to the owners. The couch needs to be updated. It is very uncomfortable, has divots, and somewhat stained. Also, when laying on the bed, your body gravitates toward the middle of the bed.

The sheets were very clean, countertops and refrigerator was clean. It was just those big issues that were a red flag to us.

"4 days at Breakers 110
The unit itself was satisfactory but really needs to be freshened and brought up to date. The biggest problem is the outside deck. There is virtually no paint on the decking, there are large gaps between the boards; some of which are dry rotted and several nails are protruding above the wood. Our major disappointment is we were told that painting was taking place at the site. WRONG! It was a major construction site with incredible noise, huge pieces of heavy equipment working right outside our unit and banging upstairs that made relaxation impossible. Another problem occurred on New Year's Eve. We went across the street to dinner and when we returned we discovered there were absolutely no outside lighting at the complex. We had to rely on our cell phones to guide us through the dangerous and cluttered construction site. We loved the area and plan on returning next year but with some hesitations..."

"Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay at The Breakers. The location is perfect for walking to Coligny and restaurants and shopping. The condo is nicely appointed. My only recommendation is that the only put some different patio furniture out. The plastic Adirondack chairs prevent you from having an ocean view when you’re out there due to sitting so low. We would definitely stay here again! "

"Great location, beautiful condo and great price
We had a great stay! The condo was very clean. Being on the first floor was nice. Only having to travel up one flight of stairs.
The only thing i would change in the condo, is adding a fan in the bedroom. And having bar height stools on the patio since the table is bar height and when sitting in the low chairs you were looking at the railing.

Overall we enjoyed and would stay here again! "

"Summer 2019 Beach Trip The Breakers Unit 110.
We were very disappointed in the experience at this condo. This unit was very dirty and the noise level was just incredible. Children and adults in above unit constantly walking back and forth (sounded as if they tried to stomp) also moved furniture very frequently. Outdoor noise made it impossible to sleep past 4:30 AM. Only positive was small oceanview. Will never stay here again. Pool (small) was overcrowd and very loud. Also it was extremely expensive for the horrible experience."

Mattress needs replacing it creates a V where sinks down in the middle of the mattress the rear window to the unit next to the entrance door is the original window to the building ( 50 years old ?) it leaks air and sound get someone to spend $300 and replace the window it will make so much difference it’s not even funny the entrance door you can stick your fingers out the door through the bottom of the door again sound and air escaping other than that for a 20 x 50‘ cage wasn’t horrific rental people are very nice "

Location was great, close to beach and shopping. Very disappointed with cleanliness of room. I had to sweep 1st! Sliding screen door was broke, furniture on balcony was torn, balcony floor was old and needed replacing. Frig door handle was broke too. Pool area was great! "Hilton Head - The Breakers 110
Unfortunately, the accommodations at Breakers 110 WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING for the following reasons:

The unit was filthy and I mean filthy!
When we first walked into the unit there was a residue of sand on the floor and the floor was dirty. My white socks were evidence of that! Long strands of black hair was also found on the floor in numerous places.
The baseboards and chair rails were also dirty and grimy. Haven’t been cleaned in a while.
There was a slippery film on the tub. Twice I almost fell. No handrail, no mat.
Our sheets did not fit properly on our bed. Too small, too tight.
The fitted sheet kept coming undone throughout each night.
The bath towels were inadequate. (I have rags that are nicer)
Falsely advertised as a unit that sleeps 4. No way!
Parking an issue - had to park under the shops and hoped we weren’t towed.
I am not one to complain, however if I were the property management and or the owner, I would want to know so that corrective measures could be taken.
The kitchen was nicely renovated.

"Beats a Hotel... better view with kitchen
When I booked the villa I thought I was getting a little studio... turn out to be a full villa with a fantastic view of the ocean. My villa came with private bedroom, bath, full kitchen, living room, small dinning area and private balcony where I sat out and had my morning coffee while watching the waves roll in. Villa was well furnished and clean. Going back again in the Fall. Great Company to work with and a Great location!"

Perfect oceanfront condo! Beautiful view, just steps away from the pool and beach. Condo was updated, very clean and accommodating. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. My only complaint is that there was no oven, only a 2 burner cooktop and no WiFi available. "

"Breakers 110 - July 2015
Breakers 110 was a newly renovated unit with nice, updated decor. The unit is a bit small but perfect for a couple or a couple with a child that doesn't mind sleeping on a pull-out sofa...after all, you won't be in the condo that often! To our surprise there was no closet in the bedroom. There is a cabinet unit around the bed that provides space to store clothes etc. But not much room to store suitcases that don't fit under the bed...pack light. One cabinet has a hanging bar but cabinet is only long enough for shirts. I would suggest they add a few wall hooks to allow space to hang dresses or longer tops, etc. The unit has a great oceanfront view and is convenient, walking distance to Coligny Plaza and other area restaurants and shops, including a Piggly Wiggly grocery store. Be sure to walk to Steamer Seafood for lunch or dinner! The unit was very clean and the property manager provided great service...we locked ourselves out one day and they were quick to come unlock the unit for us. The onsite security guard is very friendly and always directed us to parking spaces near our unit. It is nice to have covered parking to keep your car cool and avoid the birds and other elements. The pool is a bit small and was very crowded during our stay but the beach was excellent and so easy to access so we never went to the pool. Overall we had a great trip and will be back! Some other favorite restaurants we enjoyed: Skullcreek Boathouse and Hudson's on the River, and Plantation Cafe and Watusi for breakfast. Grab a frozen drink for the beach at the Frosty Frog and hit the Big Bamboo for live music at night."
