Welcome to The Sandbox! Newly renovated and outlined with elegance in every detail, this 3-story oceanfront home is truly perfect for your next Hilton Head Island family getaway.

This home has an extremely open floor plan that allows an easy flow between the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room is well-appointed and spacious, and natural light fills every corner of the room through the large windows. There is plenty of comfortable seating for everyone to enjoy and a large flat-screen TV for your entertainment. In the kitchen, there is plenty of walkway and counterspace to allow multiple people to cook simultaneously without feeling crowded. Top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances and fully stocked cabinetry, and 2 refrigerators ensure that meals at home are a breeze! There is seating for 10 at the formal dining table and an additional eight bar stools in the kitchen.

The first bedroom sits on the first floor and features a king-sized bed. There is a full bathroom, complete with a single vanity and walk-in shower, outside of this room. On the mezzanine level sits the second bedroom, which features a king-sized bed and a private bathroom, that has a double vanity along with a walk-in shower and a soaking tub. On the second floor, the 3rd bedroom features an iron queen-sized bed and boasts stunning ocean views as well as a private balcony. The private ensuite bathroom has a shower/tub combination. The 4th bedroom acts as the primary suite and features a king-sized bed, oceanside seating, and stunning ocean views from the balcony. The primary bathroom has a double vanity, a makeup area, a walk-in shower, and a spa tub. The 5th bedroom has a king-sized bed and a private bathroom consisting of a double vanity, walk-in shower, and spa tub. The 6th bedroom has 2 queen-sized beds and a private bathroom complete with a shower or tub.

On the 3rd floor, you will find the remaining rooms, as well as more living space and a full kitchen! The 7th bedroom is large and features two queen-sized beds, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom. The bathroom has a double vanity along with a walk-in shower and spa tub. The 8th bedroom is open and has two twin-sized beds and two trundle beds, and it also doubles as another living room! Enjoy plenty of plush seating around the TV and fireplace, and enjoy your own private balcony while you soak up the ocean views. Along with a full second kitchen, there is also a washer and dryer on the third floor.

Outside, your oceanside oasis awaits! Unwind in the private pool and spa and listen to the waves crash in the near distance as you let rest and relaxation find you. There is plenty of outdoor seating, as well as pool loungers and two outdoor tables. Just a short walk over the dunes on the private boardwalk will take you to the sandy beaches. Storms - There are no refunds given for cancelation or interruption of your stay due to an event of inclement weather including: a tropical storm, tropical depression, hurricane, or named storm, and all payments will be forfeited. "Penn State College Reunion
9 Guscio Way is an amazing property. From booking to departing, Island Time made this an extraordinary experience. There was not one complaint from any of our 14 guests. Brenda was awesome!!! And Vivian was on top of it all. Both of these ladies took care of all questions and made our stay enjoyable. I highly suggest this home and to book directly with Island Time. "Family Vacation
Great place to stay for a large family gathering, plenty of space. Having 2 refrig. On the main floor and another upstairs we so helpful. The property was clean and as described. Elevator wasn’t working so taking luggage upstairs was the only down side. Staff was very responsive to any calls. Pool was clean and a perfect place to sit around."

"Wonderful Family Vacation
This home and location were perfect for our family of 15. Everyone had their own bedrooms & bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked very well. Seating room for all 15 eating was great. Having the extra kitchen on 3rd floor provided snacks and an extra refrigerator for those using that space. The three refrigerators were wonderful along with 2 washers and dryers. Having a very nice pool with lots of seating and table along with such easy access for the beach provided a great deal of outdoor fun. All the balconies with nice chairs was a bonus. It would have been nice to have the elevator working for taking suitcases in/out, however an effort was made to fix it while we were there but it needed parts. Island Time Rentals were so easy to work with during the planning process. The were very responsive with phone calls and Brenda answered all our questions. We enjoyed the privacy of our location. Overall it could not have been a better family vacation. We have a lifetime of great memories!!"

"Exceeded Expectations
Lots of rental properties look better in pictures than they do in real life, but this was the exception. We were even more impressed by the size of the house, the quality of the amenities, the pool and the beach access. The beach was fantastic. A very residential area so low crowds and it was large and flat, very easy to run and bike on. Parking was easy with room for 6 cars. The concierge service was one of the best amenities though. They helped me set up a private chef dinner that was fantastic. They helped guide us to local restaurants and golf courses. They helped us find a masseuse for an in home visit, and they helped us find a fun sunset sailing cruise. I didn't like that I was going to get charged for a full week of heating the pool and spa even though we only were there for 3 nights. The owner did agree to give me a slight discount, but it wasn't anywhere close to prorated. The concierge service did help me after hours though when I couldn't figure out the spa heat, so they really came through for us. I would highly recommend renting through Island Time and this property was excellent. The location was great, but you will want a car or bike. We walked to Coligny Beach area a couple times, but it was a solid 30-35 minutes. "

"Very bad experience at a once beautiful property
This is the 3rd year we had stayed at this rental. Over that period it had become less desireable.
1. Upon arrival and over the period of our stay we noted several areas that were clearly not cleaned. Bathrooms, blinds, floors. debris and grime.
Worst of all, blood spatter in one bedroom, on walls, bedding. In ine bathroom, one large spot of stool or blood on the door.
Under the sheeets hair and dust on the bedding.
2. Insufficient basics, one dishtowel-we had to use bath towels for the kitchen. One dishwasher was not working. Only 2 of the burners on the outdoor grill was functioning
3. Although we needed to clean, the vacuum cleanr did not work, we had one broom.
We took photos of all of the defined areas.
The company did come and clean the blood, we are waiting a response regarding the other issues.
Likely not related to the owner, we ended up with 2 flat tires due to nails in the alley construction site adjacent property
Overall it was a very bad experience at a once beauriful proerty."

"Ocean side, 8 bedrooms
Overall we were satisfied at the house and the family enjoyed being together.
Pros: Home with 8 bedrooms, very limited supply on the island ocean side.. Facility was clean. Kitchen and dining areas suitable and accommodate large gatherings. Beach location allows lengthy walks and bike rides. Close to Coligny Circle for shopping and restaurants. Bike paths available to travel across island. Good size pool with deck chairs. Porches with views of ocean. Elevator available to assist with luggage to second and third floors. Enjoyed the house. Maintenance issues were resolved expediently. Staff was responsive, supportive and helpful.
Cons: Limited parking space. House is much too close to adjacent properties presenting noisy ambiance from neighbors, may be best in off season with less crowds if you don't want to be part of the neighbors constant and late partying. Door missing for 3rd floor "bedroom" not private. Pots and pans have scrapped teflon coating, not recommended for safe cooking. Purchased our own. "

Property can't be any closer to the beach. Easy access to Coligny Circle area. Place is generally in good condition there were a few items that were excessively worn, especially in the kitchen. Also, problem with elevator that was not fixed during our stay."

"Adult Senior Spring Break ��️‍♂️��️
We rented 9 Guscio for two weeks and had two groups of friends visit. Hilton Head has become our favorite destination. The house was big enough as we had 5 couples one week and 7 couples the next week. Very well appointed and being on the beach and centrally located on the island made it perfect for our friends. The owner happened to be staying next door and was very friendly and helpful. The Island Time staff was very accommodating and responsive. Our only issues were one of the ovens slow to heat up but did work and the elevator had a few glitches. Some of the elevator glitches were operator errors but a few were mechanical. We will be back."

"Very Nice
We stayed over 4th of July week and hosted 4 families with kids in tow. The rooms were spacious and the layout was accommodating. The elevator made bringing luggage up and down a breeze. Pool and spa were great and the beach access is perfectly nestled in between the two major hotels so your beach is as private as you can get in HH. The concierge service was fantastic, very responsive and helped with all our requests for recommendations. The only two nits would be the kitchen appliances and beds. The oven took 45 mins to preheat to 450 degrees, the fridges were a bit dated and took a while to get the ice working properly. but this is all minor. And the beds/pillows lacked great support. But if you had a bed with the beach views, you can easily get past that. Great parking, great location to all the downtown fun for the kids and a beautiful home. Very spacious and high ceilings so you are never on top of each other."

"Outstanding House
We have rented 9 Guscio Way 9 times and think it is the best property on HHI. Convenient location near Coligny Circle yet tucked away on its own beach area and private road. The house is steps from the ocean so it’s easy to run back to the house for more toys etc. There is plenty of room for multigenerational guests. The elevator that goes top to bottom is ideal for unloading groceries straight from the car to the kitchen. Second full kitchen and full laundry room on top floor make everything convenient for everybody.
This visit was an unusual situation with trash pick up. The bins were full when we arrived and trash was not removed the full week we were there. We were told the contractor at 1 Guscio Way and the trash company were in dispute about trash truck access to Guscio Way during remodeling at the end of our street."

WE WERE THERE FOR 2 WEEKS CELEBRATING A BIRTHDAY.WE HAD FROM 4 TO 12 PEOPLE VISITING AT ANYTIME. THE SUNRISE WAS BEAUTIFUL. EACH BEDROOM HAD IT'S OWN BATHROOM WHICH WAS NICE. "Family trip
It was a great house, everyone had quiet private space, patio is great, great views, great kitchen, great location. It’s Kept up pretty nice, just some worn/ stained carpeting a few places. And odd pool/spa heating specific instructions which were only on one paper that got an iPad laid on top of, and which caused us a couple cool pool days after we paid to heat both pool and spa. No sign or instructions out by the pool to be sure everyone who used spa and pool could see, since there’s 14 adults using it. Overall great time with an entire family there. "

"Perfect family getaway - we had 12 people
We had the BEST time as a family. The house was beautiful; everything was clean and we had more room than we knew what to do with. The elevator allowed my mom to see the rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor. We were able to have family meals, chill by the pool/hot tub an enjoy the ocean without having to take more than a few steps. We all were able to see gorgeous sunrises, a family of stingray frequented the beach, twice we saw dolphins and we had a sea turtle nest (that did not hatch; something we were all hoping for) right by our house. We rented bikes and many of us ventured to the Coligny Plaza almost daily. My son and his wife biked almost everywhere. The island offered something for everyone and this home allowed my mom to give us memories to last a lifetime. Each bedroom with bathroom offered comfort and space. The outside balconies provided a spectacular view. The living area, kitchen and dining area was spacious and allowed us to gather for movies, game night, puzzles --- and several home cooked meals. Having a grill was a nice extra. There was not a kitchen appliance that was not available and SO MANY other things that you could cook a meal for 2 or a meal for 20. The 3rd level had its own kitchen and dining space as well as a washer and dryer. The main floor laundry space had a top of the line washer and dryer, sink and ironing board; plus lots of SPACE. All bedrooms and common living spaces had TV's; simple to use. I do not think anyone will be disappointed in renting this home. The home sits at the end of a DEAD-END drive; there is room for four cars to be parked under the home; if you rent bikes; you can lock to a tree or fire hydrant. Throughout the whole rental process, the Island Time staff was always helpful and kind. I hope to come back to Hilton Head and will rent again with Island Time. I need a home with an ocean view; this location was perfect. Many thanks for a wonderful week and memories to last a lifetime."

"Beautiful house and great location
The house was beautiful and clean with really nice art work making it more luxurious. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed to cook meals. We were given a brand new grill when the other did not function well. When one air conditioner was not working the rental company was quick to respond and fix it. They were very concerned about our comfort. The beds were comfortable and our family had a great time going between the pool and the ocean. We were just a short bike ride away from all the shops and restaurants. We had plenty of room for 9 adults and 7 children ages 8, 6 and 4. My only suggestion is another umbrella for more shade by the pool. Other than that the house was a perfect vacation spot. We will rent again from this company. I hesitate to give such a good review because the house will be harder to get for our next vacation but they deserve a great review."

"Great house and value
Overall, it was a great value. To have an oceanfront property with the amenities that this included at that price was, I think, a rare find. If I was critical of the house I'd say it could use a few things: felt a bit dated (minor wear and tear/dirty carpets/etc.); main floor needs another fridge; the balcony space of the main floor is small for such a large house; drainage around the pool needs fixed (all the sand from the where you rinse your sandy feet flows right onto the porch around the pool. All in all, I would stay here again and our family really liked the house. "

"Large Family Vacation
Great house on the beach and one of the few that can accommodate a family group of 15. House is not new, but is generally in good shape. We had one minor maintenance issue and Island Time resolved it quickly. Two ongoing issues...one of the two dishwashers was very difficult to operate. And, a house this size will obviously be handling a large party and yet the only ice maker in the house is the one in the refrigerator. The house could use a larger capacity ice-making machine."

"Amazing home!
Five couples had room to spare in this lovely, well equipped home with views of the beach and sounds of the surf! We had all the equipment needed for Low Country Boil and beach breakfasts! The home is a short bike ride from Coligny and many restaurants. Beds and furnishings were all comfortable, and the bathrooms were sizable and sparkling clean.
