We had the best experience in this condo unit! It was so clean and well-stocked with necessities. We loved using the back pack chairs, and the location was perfect- close to the beach and all the great shops and restaurants of Coligny. We couldn’t have picked a better spot! "Beach brake on HHI
The condo was pretty much as described. The condo was adequately equipped for our needs. The condo layout was good.
The wireless speed was terrible. It was not possible to stream anything on the TV even when we put all devices, except the TV, on airplane mode. (I noticed that the condo Wi-Fi was provided by Spectrum, which is who I use, so I’m not sure what is speed is contractually meant to be delivered. I did a speed test and got 12 MB download and 9 MB upload.)
The condo is a good 15 minute walk to the beach. The neighborhood is good and far enough away from Coligny Plaza to avoid the crowd noise. Prospective renters should be aware that you can hear all the sounds from the neighboring condos. (Such as a washing machine running at 7:30 AM on a Sunday morning, dogs barking and even people sneezing.)
As noted by prior renters, the parking is tight, but it is very manageable.
The cleanliness of the condo was just about OK. (We owned a rental property for 10 years on HHI, so we know about the challenges of getting a decent cleaning company.) We did have to wipe down surfaces and empty the Keurig machine. The bed in the master bedroom is OK. There are a few maintenance issues that need to be addressed: 1). The handle on the kitchen faucet needs to be re- attached and tightened. 2). The master bathroom sink drains very, very slowly and needs to be cleaned out. (I did not call the property management company as I did not want to have to spend vacation time on maintenance issues.)
I do also think that the double mattress on the lower part of the bunk bed needs to be replaced - it’s like a very uncomfortable marshmallow."

"First time stay in HHI
We overall liked the rental, the location and the island in general. The rental was clean and as described. The location was perfect. A .6 mile walk to Coligny beach and the new pirate ship playground just a few minutes away.
The mattresses were extremely soft, which we struggled with. As a family of 5 we were a bit disappointed that the dinner table had only 4 chairs even though there were beds for 5 people.
Overall we would recommend the rental to others."

"Beach review
Overall a great stay, was clean and spacious inside. Beds were comfortable and again condo was clean. One thing was the pool was rather small with limited seating and the furniture at the pool was dated, could use an upgrade! Also, the beach walking takes at least 15 minutes, you definitely need to use the bikes, we really rented a beach cart for the supplies and a carrier for our young children to ride in to make it easier! "
