"Awesome Stay, Family of 3 and Family of 4 -
We had an awesome stay in Eleuthera. Make the most out of the trip plan to be active! Get ready to load the car and drive to find the beach on the leeward side.
Sea Walk was perfect for us. It is NOT a "New Beach Villa"(maybe 8 or 10 years old) but everything worked, it was clean, comfy beds, A/C was great, and had all kinds of space, extra towels, coolers, chairs. Pool was great, Skylink internet was great. There is great value in the house and its priced appropriately for what is available. The banks road location is also great because the Ocean beaches are awesome, short trip to multiple liquor stores and food shops.
House was great and we plan to rent it again. "

We had 7 people in our group and this house was perfect. Spacious, clean, secure and well kept. Most beautiful beach ever, right across the street! Great central location on the island as well. Working with the property manager and house caretaker was wonderful and accommodating. Highly recommend! "

"Yearly getaway
This was the first time staying at this house but our fifth time in Eleuthera. The house and location are great. Easy quick walk to the beach. Plenty of beach chairs are provided as well as coolers. The house is very well stocked and having the pool is a great way to end your day. Misty and her son Justin were wonderful. Any questions or concerns were answered immediately. The only complaint is the lighting in the bathrooms. Hard to see to put on makeup. "

"SEAWALK
The home was very room and comfortable. Beach access is within a one minute walk.
I would suggest updating some of the bathrooms and the refrigerator is in need of some mantainence.
Sheets and pillows are well worn and need replacing.
The layout is perfect for families or multiple couples. "

"Family Christmas Adventure
We rented two houses on Banks Road about 1 1/2 miles apart for our entire family over the Christmas holiday. We left home in freezing weather and were a bit chilly the first few days of our trip. Then the sun came out for a glorious remainder of our time.
This house is incredibly well stocked and organized. Our two adult children with children both wanted to stay here and the house was perfect for that. One big room upstairs and another big room downstairs allowed each to have their own space and the house accommodated the grand children.
The pool was a huge draw. They spent hours in the hot tub and then jumped in the pool. It was not working at first. If that happens to you don’t despair. It DOES work and might just need an adjustment.
Misty iwas very accommodating, doing grocery shopping before our arrival. The house was spotless. We drove all up and down the island (100 miles long) to see every beach and have every experience (spear fishing, snorkeling, swimming with the pigs etc). The island is actually too long with too much driving. But one could stay at this house all the time enjoying French Leave beach with short forays into Governors Harbor for the Friday Fish Fry, some shopping and a look at the adorable village.
We highly recommend Sea Walk, their team and this island. Thank you for a memorable experience. "

"Fabulous Girls Trip!

"A Total 5 Star Cacation!
What an incredible rental property Seawalk was to stay. The pool, hot tub and layout of the house was just great. The easy access to the beach was incredible. We had chef Horatio cook the most delicious meal for the 7 of us which was one of the highlights of our week. We also went fishing and caught some delicious fish which we prepared another night. The kitchen is set up with lots of appliances, dishes and glasses. The weather couldn’t have been better. We are all experiencing the Eleutheran Blues today! Thank you Misty for being so accommodating and attentive to our questions. We would all definitely come back to Seawalk again!"

"Amazing location; lovely home however....
Thrilled with the location and cleanliness of the home. Drawbacks: (1) Internet is horrendous so don't think you can use this location as a work/ vacation option. You will be disconnected barely able to access emails. Many might agree good to be completely disconnected while on vacation however worthy to note. (2) Pool was not clean (sides discolored/ dirty and completely green with algae) and surrounded by nesting wasps and bees in the tiled wall connecting the main pool to the hot tub. Although Misty was extremely attentive and truly tried to accommodate cleaning and exterminating, the island moves at an island-pace and there was no remedy during our stay. We walked around the home and discovered at least seven wasp/ bees nests (each the size of a catchers mitt) very visible under the 2nd floor eve. Thank goodness we were a group of adults and not with children which would have been brutally disappointing in not being able to use the pool or the surrounding areas near the connected hot tub.(I gave the property a 4-star rating and not 5-star only because of the condition of the pool.)
I still would recommend this property as the location was amazing, the cleanliness of the home exceptional and the pool and wasp/ bee situation with consistent attention by the homeowner, easily remedied."

We loved the house but the pool was literally iced cold adn too cold to go into for most of us and if we did go in you couldnt stay in the water for more than a minute so that was a huge disappointment. I wouldn't recommend it becasue of the pool."

This was a great home for our family. We didn't use the pool, it was not super clean, as a pool owner myself, I wished it was cleaned/skimmed prior to our arrival. Great common space and dining table for playing card games. "

"Fantastic Rental!
We LOVED the house and Misty who is the liaison between the property managers and renters. Misty was super helpful and quick to respond on WhatsApp when I had a question or needed a recommendation.
All of the amenities worked well and the beach across the street was our favorite once we visited many on the island. One thing to be weary of is power outages as we experienced a few in our weeklong visit. This is common on the island when there is weather. Outages ranged from 30 min to overnight. The WiFi also struggled after power outages and several attempts to reset, but that is minimal and par for the course when you want an off the beaten path experience. I think the house could benefit from new linens, but definitely not a deal breaker. We LOVED the location and will definitely be back! "

We loved our visit ! The house was nice but there were a few disappointing times.
AC would not work In kitchen. They owners had realtors bring clients to look at the house while we were there This was not acceptable. Ants were all over the kitchen cabinets. We didn’t have paper towels and toilet paper initially. Took several attempts to get a response. Ended up having to buy some because it took so long to get them . The pool was not very clean. But was cleaned on the third
day we were there. Great location and beach across the street. WiFi stopped working one afternoon. The owner did try and get fixed. Apparently all the minutes were used and had to be renewed Was without for 24 hours Most of us had to use WiFi because we couldn’t use cell phone without it. "

"A Great House Steps from a Perfect Beach
We vacationed as a family of 6 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this villa. The 4 bedroom/4 bath house has plenty of room for us to spread out and was nicely provisioned. Jackie and Ziggy were also very helpful answering all our questions! Eleuthera is a magical island and worth exploring from tip to tip."

"2021 Kate's Eleuthera Family Beach Party
After my wife and I visited Eleuthera for our first time last year, we decided to invite our who family for a return visit. Sea Walk was exactly what we had expected and hoped for. The entire family loved the house and the easy access to French Leave beach. In the height of tourist season... re rarely saw more than 3-4 people on our 2+ miles long daily walks along the beach. Hats off to the owners and to Eleuthera rental managers for making this a memory to last a lifetime. Pure island luxury from top to bottom! "

"SeaWalk Review
My family and I spent two weeks at SeaWalk. Jackie the owner was very nice. The maintenance person, Ziggy, was also very responsive and helpful. But their kindness could not make up for the fact the house is really not in shape to rent to anyone who is used to a certain level of function, ease of operation and cleanliness. What saved the stay for us was the house's stellar location, across the street from French Leave Beach. Easily one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Just an initial list of the things that were substandard: all windows needed servicing, inadequate privacy shading, poor outdoor lighting on the house, outdoor shower required servicing, indoor shower heads needed cleaning, pool needed regular maintenance, refrigerator was not clean, some cleaning supplies were missing when we arrived, the A/C would make an emergency noise when the power would go out on the island, etc. There is more, but I don't want to belabor the point.
But if the weather is nice, as was ours, it's a truly wonderful location for a family. I would just suggest that the owners invest in the property to make it more in line with the experience promised."

"Great weekend getaway with friends
We had a fabulous long weekend stay at Sea Walk. We shared the house with another family and there was plenty of room for us all to be comfortable. It was a cool weekend so the hot tub was a definite bonus! The house was in a great central location for exploring both the north and south ends of the island. There are several great restaurants nearby. The highlight of our trip was on our last night when we had a delicious home cooked Bahamian meal and an incredible bonfire on the beach built by Bobby one of the caretakers of the property."

"Paradise found
This house is awesome. The description doesn't do justice. The owners Jackie and Skip are wonderful. They made sure we had everything we needed. The house is well equipped. There is not a kitchen item that they don't have. Lots of towels, bedding, etc. We visited a couple of restaurants but spent most of our time at the house. I would highly recommend this property. We plan on returning in the future."

"Lovely island escape from the hustle and bustle!
Skip and Kim were lovely.
Despite our slightly earlier arrival, they were truly accommodating.
Although the property could do with a little tlc (kitchen cabinets, external sliding doors and locks, etc.), we truly enjoyed our stay here.
More importantly though, it turned out to be directly opposite French Leave where the events we came to attend were hosted. And even though it was on the main road, you'd never have noticed.
The pool was fantastic, especially as the north side's rough sea's meant beach swimming was out of the question.
We would definitely consider staying here again, should we require space for a large group."

"Great Location!

The house was rented by us and had two families stay with kids ranging in age 3-11 and was great for the families to share and the kids loved the pool! Any questions we had were answered promptly and requesting a fire on the beach from Tepa was such a great way to end our trip! We highly recommend the space! "

"Great House in a Good Location
We recently stayed at Sea Walk as a group of four couples. We had a wonderful visit, and the house location is very convenient to both French Leave beach and the town of Governor’s Harbour. The beach is a short, easy walk across the street, and the house has beach chairs and towels available for use. Skip and Jackie visited frequently during the week and were available to make suggestions for activities and meals. Tepa was around daily to see if we needed anything and to tidy up outside. We had a few issues with the house that we informed management about but were unable to get fixed, despite attempts by maintenance. The air conditioner in the bunk room was not working properly, making it stifling for sleeping at night, and the air conditioner in the gathering area was making an extremely loud noise, making it difficult to have good conversations in that area when it was on. At the advice from Jackie, we also hired a local cook, Shauna, to cook a meal for us one night. She was fantastic (definitely recommend), but when she arrived she found the grill was unusable. Also, the tap water was varying shades of brown the entire week. We were told that this happens when they are working on the pipes, but it stayed off-color for our entire stay. We did attempt to contact the owner about these issues before writing a review, but there was no reply.
The house has a great layout, but be aware that one of the upstairs bathrooms has no shower head and only has a tub. The listing indicates this, but we didn’t realize that a tub bathroom meant no ability to shower. The house has two comfortable gathering areas, and we found the kitchen to be very well stocked, with plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, and things such as spices. The pool was a little chilly for our February visit, but it would be great in warmer weather. Overall, we had a good stay in this house and would definitely rent it again and recommend it to others. "

"Excellent location. Great house.
The house was great. We especially enjoyed nights sitting in the hot tub under the stars. Location is mid island so ideal for exploring in both directions. I would recommend flying into airport nearby rather than the one in North Eleuthera though as it's a solid hour drive from the north and only about 10 minutes from the closer one. The owner Skip was very responsive and helpful and his handyman Tepa was great as well. Ask Tepa to build you a fire on the beach for a small fee ($100) - you won't regret it! Gorgeous beach right across the street down a very short path. One of the nicest island rentals I have done and I would definitely recommend this place!"

"Better then expected...
This was our first experience renting a vacation property and we couldn't be happier. The house, island and beaches were exactly what Matt and his team described. We took day trips north and South and enjoyed what the rest of the island had to offer but nothing felt as peaceful as coming back "home" to our own pink sand on the French Leave beach."

"House was okay. Property Manager Great. Owner - questionable
The rental house was fine. The property manager - Tepa - was great. Made us feel very welcome and even enjoyed some meals with us. He was very helpful and sweet. We had an issue with the owner. Three wicker chairs broke while we were staying there. They just gave out from under as they were being sat on. The owner tried to say we misused them and broke them as a "guest had too much too drink." That was so not true. The chairs were not mishandled in anyway. They had just worn out over years of use. The owner in the end did not charge us for the chairs, but had tried to get us pay half of what the chairs cost."

We had a wonderful time partly due to the fabulous house, SeaWalk! We cooked in(fresh fish) 5 nights and found the kitchen to be fully stocked with everything we needed! The island was a little more primitive than we realized but we loved the slow pace and laid back feel. Tiapa took great care of us even built us a bondfire on the beach- he's the best! "

"Loved our time at Sea Walk and Governors Harbour
My family of ten really enjoyed our time in Eleuthera. SeaWalk was perfectly set up for three couples and 4 small children. It was great to have a pool and hottub right outside the doors and the beautiful quiet beach just across the street. They kept us supplied with fresh water and whatever we needed.
We hope to go back!"

"Lovely house near Outstanding Beach! Best Location on the Island
Sea Walk is a lovely house within one block to an outstanding beach. Well equipped kitchen and nice pool and hot tub. Updated decor, comfortable beds and pleasant and helpful staff made it a nice stay. The house is in one of the best neighborhoods on the island and is within a short drive to town. We will definitely come again! Great spot!"

"Seawalk July 2017
Seawalk is a GREAT house in Eleuthera to stay at! We recently rented this beautiful beach home with another family and give it top praise. We were a total of 4 adults and 4 teens and there was plenty of room for all of us. The house is really spacious, modern, very comfortable, immaculately clean and well furnished with 4 large bedrooms, a well-stocked open kitchen and a terrific entertainment area. As well, the in ground pool was a real treat. Seawalk is perfectly located within a minute walk from the famous French Leave beach which is arguably the nicest stretch of beach on the island. It is a hop away from the grocery stores, banks, restaurants, gas stations and shops of Governor’s Harbour. The owners, Jackie & Skip, reside close by and are truly wonderful people. They are genuinely friendly kindred spirits and we feel blessed to have had the opportunity to meet them. They graciously received us when we first pulled into their driveway and it was as if we had found long lost friends! They are very warm people and they took the time to share with us a wealth of knowledge about the island which greatly inspired us in our activity planning. Their helper Tepa, a gentle soul, came over a few times every day to clean up the yard, tend to the pool and ask if we needed anything. The owners were always reachable to answer our questions and met our needs immediately. They have a wide variety of additional equipment for rent which was very convenient. We have stayed in many homes in Eleuthera over the years and Seawalk earns top marks in our books. We strongly recommend this rental home to anyone considering a visit to this lovely island.
