"A Dream It Was
We recently stayed at Dream House and couldn’t have been happier with the entire experience. Pam at Eleuthera Vacation Rentals was very helpful throughout the process. We want to sincerely thank the property owners for their patience and flexibility during COVID. Tenielle was a gracious host and extremely responsive. We had a couple very minor issues upon check in and she resolved everything quickly. The lasagna was delicious and so welcome for dinner the first night after travel, and for a second meal too.
The house is so beautiful with to die for views. We had everything we needed-paper towel, toilet paper, garbage bags, coffee filters, hand soap, shampoo & body wash in all bathrooms. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels. The kitchen had every pot, pan, bowl, utensil you will need.
Tippy’s and La Bougainvillea restaurants are both very close by.
The road to the house from Banks Road is a dirt road and a little bumpy but that adds to the authenticity, charm and privacy. The walk down to the beach is steep and could be challenging for those with mobility issues but was absolutely fine for us, we welcomed the exercise. The beach is very private, we saw 8 people walk by during our entire stay.
We would, without a doubt, recommend this property and will be back again!!"

"Winter Getaway
Great property on a gorgeous lot. House is exceptional: immaculate, well appointed, and beautiful. We enjoyed the beach and snorkeling every day. Night one Lasagna was a wonderful surprise and saved us from cooking or going out after traveling. Highly recommend this property for anyone fleeing the winter doldrums!"

Myself, my husband and our twin 4 year olds had a wonderful time at the Dream House. The house was beautiful, clean and Tennille was Extremely helpful! The kids loved being steps away from the pool and beach and my husband loved the privacy and seclusion while still being able to try out some great places to eat! "Loved The Dream House! Perfect 10!
The Dream house did not disappoint!
The setting is truly incredible, overlooking the Atlantic. Waters and sand like you have never seen. The view never gets old.
We are a family of 4 with two kids, 11 and 8. They loved the pool and swam in it everyday. At times the pool water was chilly, at other times is was perfect. We did find a couple blow up floaties in the garage. We would take the quick 60 second walk to the beach to play in the waves at high tide or walk as far as we wanted.
The house is the perfect size for a family of 4. But we could also see two families being comfortable there.
We ordered groceries ahead of time and they were there when we arrived. Tennielle was very helpful and would quickly respond to my text messages with questions. The house is stocked with plenty of kitchenware. There were a couple spices on hand, but you may want to order the necessities when you arrive. No oil or cooking spray, so get that. There was a drawer of 5-8 sun screens. But you still probably want to bring your favorite.
The drive off Banks Rd to the house is a bit rugged, but nothing that our Honda CRV couldn't handle.
The overall location is awesome. Banks Rd was such a fun drive when coming to and from Governors Harbour. We easily drove to Ten Bay Beach which was incredible. Drove back up to Genes Dock for a boat excursion. (we did find some water shoes in the garage for adults, but still best to bring your own for adventures.) We drove down to Tarpum Bay, but everything there was closed (off season). La Bougainvillea, which is basically next door, was a great meal. Then we hit 1648 Restaurant in the French Leave resort, also very good. The other local staples were closed because we were there off season, we knew this though and that wasnt a big deal.
The Dream House is truly a place we believe we could come back to again. If you like modern architecture, and incredible beaches, this is the spot!

"Dream Vacation
Our family of four just got back from a wonderful week at Dream House. It was such a comfortable and clean house. Pam was fantastic working with us through COVID the year prior, and giving helpful information when asked as we neared the trip. The place is so great that we didn't need anything, but Tennille was available and wonderful as well! It's a beautiful piece of property, perfect pool, and the house layout is fantastic. It is a work out coming back up from the beach, but after having so many good island cocktails at some of the local restaurants, the exercise was welcomed! It is also well worth the privacy that gives on the pool & deck, as well as the unparalleled views! This was our 2nd trip to Eleuthera & we will book Dream House again for sure for our 3rd. There is so much to do on this beautiful island, but I also can't imagine a better place to do nothing and relax, so it was always a bit of a debate whether to explore or stay at the house. That is a good problem to have though! "

"Heaven on the Beach
House was more than we expected, very clean, light and well appointed. Staff was very accommodating and quick to respond with the few items we needed. Photos do not do the property and view justice - truly a spectacular property with privacy and yet close enough to Governor's Harbor & Palmetto Point to make shopping and dining out easy. Highly recommended."

"Gorgeous Home with Incredible Views!
Great vacation in a beautiful, well equipped home. The view from the house is spectacular with a pristine beach down the path from the house. The snorkeling off the beach is decent, but we had quite a bit of wind while there. So nice to have beach chairs and umbrellas since we were flying in. Tennielle, our property manager was great and takes special care of the house. Everyone from the pool maintenance and lawn care staff was professional and courtesy. This is a beautiful house in a great location on an amazing island. Don't wait to visit!"

"A Dream!
This truly is a dream house! Spotless! Even the glass railings were spotless. This 3 bedroom 3 bathroom is a very well thought out space. The furnishings, decor great. Appliances in great shape, easy to use. Well stocked kitchen. Outdoor shower! Housekeeper Teninelle couldn’t have been nicer and the lasagna from Denise delicious! The path to beach might be a challenge for older people (80 year olds) but we had no problem! Great location and super easy to get into Governor’s Harbor. Love this place!!! And did i mention the views? A dream!
Restaurants we really enjoyed: Bougainvillea’s ( Chef Maria was amazing) she also is the caterer for Pineapple Catering, which we did one night as well. Tippys, The Sunset Beach Grill, and traveling in we stopped at The Rock grocery store restaurant and wow! Amanda was so nice and welcoming to the island! Still have time here and restaurants to try...."

The rental home is beautiful and is in a great location. We really enjoyed sitting out on the porch and watching the waves crash and the wind blow through the palm trees. The only downside is the pool is not heated and was quite cold and the cleaning of the home before we arrived was subpar. We couldnt walk on the floor with bare feet because they would turn black. "

"Perfect House for a Perfect Dream Vacation
Dream House is a perfect location on the island. This was our 2nd trip to Eleuthera and the house met every need we had to have a perfect vacation. The owners have thought of everything. The house is on one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. We went to several other beaches but preferred the one at the house. The sand is so soft and pink. We saw a stingray swimming gracefully and then a lionfish with several other fish when snorkeling. We found several beautiful shells and sea glass. The views from the living area are something out of a travelers book and most amazing to look at every day while there. The sliding doors and screens are high quality and kept the bugs out. It was very pleasant to leave the doors open with screens shut so we could hear the ocean and not worry about noseeums. The house was spacious and perfect for our family of 5 adults. The beds are very comfortable with extra pillows. With each room having it's own AC control, everyone was happily content sleeping. The power went out for about 10 seconds. The generator kicked on. We did not know we were on generator because everything worked including the AC. We only knew because the property manager called to check in and make sure everything was working. The property manager was so pleasant and took care of any needs we had. The pictures of this house look amazing but do not show how really amazing it is. We were not disappointed and you will not be either.
We went during a time of Covid restrictions. As far as being on the island, we felt very safe with the protocols put in place. Most restaurants are take out only or closed. However, the chef at Da Perk Coffee Shop, Horacio, fixed us anything we asked for and delivered to us for a reasonable price. La Bougainvillea was also open for lunch and dinner.
Eleuthera is a beautiful island with friendly people. Do not hesitate to book this property for your dream vacation. You will not be disappointed!"

Dream House was a dream. Everything about the house, beach and location is amazing! Easy to get into town but also feels worlds away. The views from the deck are stunning. It’s great having a choice between a pool and the beach. Plenty of space for everybody to stretch out. The TV room downstairs is great for movies at night."

"Happy Repeat Guests
When we first stayed at Dream House in 2019 as one of its first guests, we were delighted with the property, its location, and excellent support through Eleuthera Vacation Rentals. It is an exciting entrance into the house! After returning home, we booked for June 2020.
This 2020 trip was our ninth year on Eleuthera and we know and love this Island. With the disruption of COVID, plans were continually altered and adjustments to our schedule were made for a July/August stay.
Dream House continues to be a comfortable and modern house perched on the bluff with a wall of windows taking in the gorgeous view of the Atlantic Ocean. The house is very comfortable and well maintained. We travel with just immediately family so we do not use its maximum space, so for us, the privacy and common areas are ideal.
I would note that the walk to the beach is down a fairly steep sand switchback which does not present any challenges for us, but may be a consideration for others.
Of note, a hurricane swept through during our stay and the house was solid. 2020 trip was full of adventures!
Our family plans on continuing to stay at Dream House and certainly recommends this property.

"Dream vacation at Dream House
Dream House was everything as advertised. The house was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare home cooked meals. Coffee on the deck every morning and cocktails on the deck every evening were like an out of body experience. The views from the house and deck are breathtaking and never get old. Having individual climate control for each bedroom allowed everyone to have their own comfortable temperature in their bedroom for sleeping comfortably.
We used the pool and/or beach everyday. We also spent some afternoons at close by beach locations that were shallow and calm (Ten Bay, Savanna Sound and Cocodimama) Ten Bay was our favorite.
We ate breakfast and most lunches at the house and split dinner between eating at the house and going out. Don't miss the fish fry on Friday evenings at Governor's Harbour (they also have grilled chicken and pork chops if you're not into fried fish).
The house is located on the top of the hill so it's a bit of a climb coming up from the beach. The path from the house to the beach is wide and well groomed. The beach is gorgeous and virtually private. Just a few neighbors down the way also using the beach. The houses along this stretch of beach are spread out so even if others are on the beach they are a long ways away.
We highly recommend this house and are already planning our next visit to Eleuthera and renting Dream House!"

"Dream House in January
Just wanted to follow up on our stay at the Dream House Jan18-25th, we had a wonderful week! The house was incredible and the views were amazing from any direction. The house was clean, stocked and Tennielle , the property manager, was very helpful. We explored Eleuthera end to end as well as exploring the great beach right in front. We did not see anther person on most beaches we visited including the beach right out front! Kean Stubbs provided us with a nice little Jeep, which we put to use. We love Eleuthera and hope to return soon. Thanks for helping us have a great anniversary trip."

" Dream (come true) House does exist & it's Beautifully Dreamy!
WOW - it really is a Dream House!
The house, the pool, the views, the beach, the location, Tennielle.... From renting with Matthew Simon & team, the communication is prompt, clear and quick to respond. Tennielle was at the home to show us the home and had a wonderful surprise of lasagna and wine awaiting us! She too is quick to respond or check in if needed.
Dream House - clean, well equipped, comfy beds and sitting areas, full kitchen with great views (you never feel you are missing out).
Then the pool - just great for morning, noon or night (just watch the little biting buggers)!
The Beach - short path down to our private, beautiful and perfect escape and outdoor shower before enjoying the pool. Honestly a Dream House!
Tippy's just around the corner, town not far, great mid point to explore and the best was coming "Home" after the days adventures and waking up at "Home"!
Looking forward to staying at Dream House soon!!!"

"Awesome House!
We had the pleasure of staying at The Dream House over the New Year with our family of 6. If you are looking for a beautiful space to get away, have quality family time, shut down and relax, this is the perfect house!. Our beach was steps away and we spent many days enjoying the water without seeing another person. Tennille, the house manager, was so awesome. We had an issue with the water the afternoon of New Years eve and she was at the house 20 mins later and had a repair service there within the hour.
Regrettably, the pool heater was broken the entire week so we were not able to use the pool.

"Beautiful
We really enjoyed Dream House. Modern. Spacious. Private. The beach is a short walk down a sandy path. Landscaping is lovely. Living room is all views. Appreciated lasagna waiting for us after a day of travel.
Hard to find a rental this nice. Would love to return someday.

Far beyond our expectations which were VERY high!!! Perfect, PERFECT!!
The beauty of the house and property were beyond description.
One note— until the drive is paved, get a 4WD rental. It’s steep and rocky.
The path to the (best ever) beach is steep. Toddlers and elderly, won’t like it.
But this rental is the best we have ever stayed in. Period. "

"Dream House... The name says it al!!!
The views from this home are breathtaking. The owners have designed the Dream House to maximize the beauty of the landscaping and long, expansive view of the ocean. The ultra-modern, open-concept floor plan provides never ending views, whether in the living room, dining area or kitchen - there are full glass walls and doors. The deck extends the entire length of the house, overlooking the ocean and then continues around to the pool area. The pool itself is salt water and very comfortable. We loved the LED lighting at night, which can be changed from white to blue, purple, or green. The lighting added to the overall attractiveness of the pool at night.
Inside the Dream House, every detail has been considered. The kitchen is spacious and fully stocked with any appliance you need. The bedrooms have adjustable lighting and individual air conditioning controls. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on. I can say the the same about the sheets, covers and pillows. All seem to be of very high quality. Downstairs, there is another living area, bedroom, laundry room and an enormous bathroom. This level is where you will find books, games and a large screen television.
The beach is wonderful! This is our main reason for visiting Eleuthera - fantastic beaches! You will feel like you own a long stretch of private beach here. We occasionally saw other people in the distance.
Needless to say, we loved staying at the Dream House. From the moment we arrived, we knew we would not want to leave. We were warmly greeted by Tennille. David even arranged to have a lasagna prepared for our arrival. That was a great touch. Travel can be exhausting and we thoroughly appreciated this gesture.
We highly recommend the Dream House. Another quick but important note; the Dream House is equipped with solar and gas powered energy backups. We absolutely loved the Dream House and can’t wait to come back. Pam, Matt & Tara at EVR were a"

"Dream House... Dream Location
I rarely write reviews, but for this property I felt inspired to write. I am very picky about where I stay. Dream House is amazing. I think it is in the perfect location on Eleuthera. Beautiful beach and close to everything that we like. This brand new home is perched about 80 feet above the ocean so you can sit in A/C and look through oh goodness, maybe 50 windows that overlook the ocean. Or sit outside on the porch It is so beautiful.
We have been to Eleuthera many times and this is our favorite home to stay in. The doors that lock with a keypad are amazing so you never have to worry about carrying the key down to the beach. The Sonos sound system is easy and sounds wonderful. Games for the kids to play and they watched some fun movies on the big TV’s.
The people renting the house next-door had four power outages. This home has a generator so if the power goes off, you still have power. We never had power outages! The A/C was great!
Upon arrival, the owner provided somebody who made a beautiful dish of lasagna for us. It was so good! It was there freshly baked for our family to enjoy. The owner has info on several private chefs, we used one & she was amazing.
The kitchen is fully stocked & they have a fresh water drinking machine that was really nice! All the bathrooms have these huge mirrors with LED lighting around the perimeter, very nice.
There’s a freshwater swimming pool that we all loved! We have two small children and after a day at the beach we would come up and jump in the pool to enjoy the freshwater before we came inside. The pool is amazing, perfect size.
There’s a huge balcony that overlooks the ocean across the entire back of the house where you can sit and overlook the ocean. The balcony is surrounded by glass railings that are really nice. It is all so pretty and new. We loved it.
