"Girls weekend
The condo was great for the most part. We had issues with getting the remotes to work on the TV. There was also minor cosmetic issues, but the condo was nice, great location and super easy to get in and out of. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Saved our week
We had rented at another location and to say that the pictures were misleading would be a huge understatement. (It was awful). Called Waters Edge and the person who helped us said that there was one rental available. We drove to Surfside and asked if we could see the property. She let us take a look and warned us that “it was a little dated”. We checked it out and it was the Taj Mahal by comparison. Had a wonderful stay! Thank you to the Waters Edge for saving our week."

"Definitely headed in the right direction
As far as the hotel itself, BIG improvements!!! We stayed 3 years ago and it was a terrible experience. Now, Big number 1 was 2 brand new elevators with nightly cleaning. #2, the office is so pretty and nicely staffed. #3 the landscaping is VERY WELL KEPT by volunteers and just delightful. #4 the bar staff was so fun and kind and happy! #5 NO FIREWORKS ON THE BEACH!!!! this is HUGE as last time our windows shook and shrapnel hit the windows and balconies"

"Big Family Vacation
Location, room, and parking - all great. Having to walk to the Public Beach Access was cumbersome. For whatever reason/excuse, the non-use of amenities was a big disappointment! A 20% discount didn't seem adequate, given they're half the reason we choose Water's Edge.I was given a chance to cancel the reservation, but reserving oceanfront rooms for my entire family would have been impossible with only a week's notice.A larger discount should've been offered, given extra expenses were incurred for pool days, AWAY from the condo,for our grandkids. Not the experience we've had over the past 5 years here.
Adequate compensation for inconveniences would've been appreciated."

"Review of 404 Waters Edge
We really like the location of this unit. There are bathrooms located near the pool, which was very convenient. There is a small bar and a convenience store on the property. The rental umbrellas and chairs are just a few steps away from the pool deck. If you don't like sand, you can sit on the pool deck and still feel like you are sitting on the beach with no obstructions of your view. Our room had been updated with a nice kitchen and new bedroom furniture. We slept well. My complaints were that I had to clean the bathrooms, sweep the floors, etc. It appeared housekeeping only put clean sheets on the beds, but didn't clean. The windows did not lock, therefore anyone could gave sliden them open and climbed in from outside. I put wooden sticks in them while we were there and reported this to the office, so hopefully it is fixed. There was a presence of secutity guards, which we liked. This is an older resort and is a little dated. Rooms are all different as they are owned by individuals. Our room did look like pictures on website. We had a great vacation! I would recommend, however warn that you will most likely be cleaning on your first day...we talked to several others and they, too had to go out and purchase cleaning supplies upon arrival. "

"Waters Edge 0402
The room was nice and clean for the most part, but both sleeper sofas were not usable. You can only sleep on the sofa if not pulled out. Otherwise the floor would be a better option. They need new mattresses in the sofas. Also the floors were filthy when we checked in and we had to mop. Luckily there was a mop in the room."

"My Vacation
Air Conditioner very very loud. Washer is very old and need of replacement. Bathroom sink water drained very slowly need to be cleaned. Curtains in one bedroom did not block out light very well. TV's did not work in two rooms they had 3 remotes so only one TV worked. Wall electrical outlets had tape over many of the outlets. Patio was very dirty wiped with paper towel came back black. Same as in Kitchen. Toilet continued to run after flushing. Quilts were sprayed with a scent that was very irritating to ones nose had to put on railing to air out. Staff was very friendly and helpful. View was very nice of ocean and beach. Asked for a restaurant recommendations and again they were very good. Other than maintenance and cleanliness stay was very enjoyable. We left and forgot a cooler in refrigerator they were nice of to call and ask what we wanted to do with it. Restaurant was Conch it was very good went there twice."

"Labor Day
We have been staying with you guys off and on for over 20 years. I really appreciate the security keeping others that are not staying there from coming in off the beach. I do not like the parking really one car for a 2 bedroon and I have had friends that would not stay there after I explained the parking. "

Beautiful view. Knew the room needed updates before we got there, it was last minute. But can they not splurge and get bigger TVs in the bedrooms. The tv was so small we couldn’t even use our Roku because the captions were too big for the small tv. Thank goodness the weather was nice"

"Extremely disapointed!!!
We had previously stayed in a nice condo at Water's Edge & liked their pool!
This time (Room 402) was one of the worst we have ever stayed in anywhere!!! It was not clean & had not been well-maintained or updated... The bathroom plumbing dripped, the faucets were falling off in the bath tubs... flooring was coming up also!!! For the price we paid we expected a much more updated place!
The man working in the office of Water's Edge is a very disgruntled employee!!!!
We would not recommend this room to anyone!!!
We will not be coming back!!!"
