"My should be better. than a super 8 hotel.
Refrigerator leaked water when it defrosted. The porch furniture and glass door were filthy. No dish washer & laundry soap starters. And I had to wash the bed cover first thing due to what looked like a poop skid mark on the cover.Bath Towels had stains, needing bleached or replaced.Coffee maker dirty. full bathroom towel rack falls off. I didn't say anything until I left because I didn't drive 600 miles to come here and complain and watch someone try to fix the refrigerator & towel rack, instead I count on the place to be correct and ready when I get there. Not worth the money I paid. Get better with the maintenance and housekeeping and all would be good."

We booked 303 and states it is a Queen bed. Trust me it is a Double and it sinks very bad. We had to sleep in the Love seat recliners. View was beautiful."

"Disappointed
I have stayed at waters edge with family since my kids were young and they are 40 now,always a great time this year I went with a friend,and I will never stay at waters edge again,the man at the desk was rude was not helpful at all.The refrigerator leaked out onto the floor there was a note on the fridge that said keep freezer door shut due to leaking and yes it was reported.There was dust under and behind furniture and the shower was not clean,the inside pool was green and not swept the whole time we were there,same as outside hot tub it was not cleaned until the day we left,elevators smelled terrible were dirty and very slow living room TV never did work "

"Love it Every year!!
We have been staying at waters edge every year since 1995. We love it But you really need to fix a lot of things, for instance the pool has some bad places around the inside edges and I know of two kids hurting themselves on the broken tile in the pool, the inside pools heater wasn't working an what's with the inside hot tube either fix it or cover it up it was so gross to see everytime we walked by it. But other than some nickpicky things we had a great time. When we come to stay it's usually 12 of us staying in different rooms. Thank you!"

"Unit 303
Loved this unit, but we missed the fact that it didn’t have a shower in the second bathroom! That’s helpful when you have 2 people trying to get ready at the same time, but we made it work! Mattress is a little hard for our taste, but we needed a new mattress topper at home anyway so we bought one to use while we were there! Had a wonderful beach week! Looking forward to coming back in September!!!"

"Stuck in elevator
We enjoyed our stay and it was a great location to the pier. However I was stuck on the elevator. It was very scary. My husband and I have several health problems and our elderly and we could not walk up and down the stairs. So many guests were having to do so and even carry their luggage up several flights of stairs. I would like to stay there again next year but I'm scared that the elevators will be an issue."

This condo was very different! The half bath did not have a shower like we were used to in it. There was no Wi-Fi for Netflix. Management could not answer our questions. It appears management has changed. We have been visiting Waters Edge for over 20 years, staying several times a year.. this was a very different stay for sure."

"The shower curtain
The unit was updated and clean but with one major problem, the shower curtain. It was 2 or more inches shorter that the base of the shower, water sprayed onto the bathroom floor and had to be mopped up with towels after every shower, the unit beneath the one we were in will have major water damage as well because of the shower curtain issue. The cleaning crew and or maintenance had to be aware of the shower curtain being way too short...We came to vacation and had to spend time cleaning up water off the bathroom floor. My husband told the front desk about the shower curtain issue at check out and was told "You should have told us". Did anyone clean that shower and if they did couldn't they see that the shower curtain was inadequate? Of all the times we have stayed at waters edge this time was disappointing. "
