"Very Mid Cleaning & Pool
My family has stayed at WER 2-3 times a year over the past 10 years. We have always had a wonderful time and clean condo. This year we rented unit, 403, & it was just ok. Many dishes had to be washed prior to using, the carpet in the bedroom needs a major cleaning or replaced, the master bath had hair all over the floor when we arrived, and there wasn't even a whole roll of toilet paper in either bathroom. On top of the cleaning we were constantly bothered at the pool about the bands! My daughter and I were there an hour and asked 3 times to show the bands! Seriously, same security person, 3 times! We left in a hurry due to the threat of the tropical storm and forgot to turn them in and now have to PAY to ship them back within 6 days to avoid the outrageous fee they have gone up to ($20 per band= $100). It cost a couple dollars to replace so the old fee ($5/each) definitely covered replacing them, I don't know what the issue is with the bands, we already pay a lot of money to stay here, this may be what keeps us from booking again! "

Waters edge is a great place to stay on vacation in Myrtle beach. Right on n the beach close to restaurants. Shopping and other activities. Rooms here are nice clean. Pool area very nice since the redo after last storm. Easy access to beach"

Our visit overall was great. The staff at this condo building is very helpful and accommodating. The condo itself this time, was pretty clean. The furniture is due for a makeover. The bed felt newish and it was stable - and yes, it really has a king sized bed. We like this company. "

"Love Waters Edge
The resort is of course still being repaired from hurricane Ian through no fault of anyone. We love Waters Edge. My one complaint this year was the cleanliness of our unit. It was mainly a deep cleaning issue. Floors not clean, balcony especially dirty, and lots of dust and stuff in vents, in baths and especially in the washer/dryer closet. I only mention that because I felt that could become a safety issue. We do love waters edge sand hope to come again. "

There were no outdoor amenities due to hurricane damage. We understood this before checking in. We were, however assured that there would be a bathroom available. That turned out to not be the case since the porta potty was locked. Despite the inconvenience we enjoyed our stay."

Overall very nice. Loved the king bed. Needs a ceiling fan in bedroom. Kitchen was not equipped very well. Cookware awful. I went and bought a skillet while I was there. Have stayed at waters Edge since Hugo at least once or twice a year. Now we normally stay a month at a time"

Condo great, The best building on Garden City beach in my opinion I love the pools and the hot tub. The only Dissatisfaction I had the whole trip was when I went to rebook it for next year Was they changed the policy on deposit From a one night stay to 40% down on the rental I'm sure I will book latter in the year because I love this place and can't wait to come back "

"Water’s vacation “2022”
First time visiting Garden City and staying at Water’s for vacation. Upon checking into our condo, the lady working the desk was very kind and sweet. Condo was very nice and clean. My only complaint would be that more towels are needed in the condo. Only one towel is given per guest. Most women need two towels; one to dry off and one for their hair. Other than that, our stay was good and I would recommend this resort to others. "

"A few days in Paradise
Our Condo was very clean, newer furniture and appliances, and the Ocean front balcony was awesome, you could see forever. Sitting there on the balcony and watching the sun rise is breathing. I would highly recommend you would enjoy your stay at Water’s Edge."

"Vacation June 2022
Unit definitely needs new furniture and mattress in bedroom. It also needs better balcony furnishings. People staying there doesn’t follow rules. We had to smell people smoking on balconies and very loud and obnoxious and also fireworks every night. It needs to have security to actually make sure people are following rules to make it a pleasant experience for everyone. "

"Great Time at the Waters Edge!
The one-bedroom suite was very beautiful and well appointed. Very comfortable and of course, a great view of the beach! We have stayed several times at Waters Edge and always enjoy being there. It's a great location in Garden City not far from the pier. We will be back!"

"There were issues.. Dissapointed
My unit was very nicely finished and the view was everything I had hopped for...HOWEVER....

1) The pictures of the unit and what it included were not accurate.
2) The construction noise (grinding and hammering) of an adjacent unit every day all day made spending a quiet day at the unit of on the balcony impossible.
3) barking dogs to both sides of me.
4) When we arrived indoor pool was out of service and at no time did the indoor hot tub open.
