"Perfect
It was just two of us and this was a one bedroom two full bath rental. The unit was very clean and beautifully decorated. We did not have issues with anything. Great view from the balcony right on the beach. Parking garage is tight for larger vehicles but plenty of parking. There is a bar and a restaurant on the first floor, which is very nice during the day. There’s also another beachfront restaurant that is a 15 minute walk accessible from the beach. We have nothing negative to say about this unit. There was a pull out bed in the living room if you had more people. This would be perfect for a small family or group of friends. It might be a little tight for two adult couples with only 1 bedroom. "

"Amazing Stay
Our room Waters Edge 206 was amazing. From the location to the parking, and the inside of the room. It was clean, updated, and very well maintained. We are extremely happy with this resort and the room we stayed in. I would highly recommend this property to stay in. This resort is so convenient to a lot of attractions. We absolutely love Garden City Pier, and Murrells Inlet. "

Overall great experience. We enjoyed our stay at the resort and all of the amenities. Having the pool, spa and easy access to the beach was such a convenience for our family. The condo was clean and just enough for two adults and two small children. The only negative was that it was difficult to move around in the bedroom due to size/positioning of furniture. "

"Location and cleanliness excellent. Management not
Our condo was perfect. We had to check out early because my mother had to call an ambulance to come get my dad . I asked John if we could keep the money we paid in and put it towards another visit and I was declined by the manager Crystal . My dad died that night . I didn’t ask for a refund , just simply to return at another date . We have been staying at Waters Edge for years now and I was always quick to recommend them . No longer will I do that . We were refunded for the extra day we added on at the end . I understand there are policies and procedures. But this situation was something that couldn’t be helped . I feel like they should have treated us better being the situation we were in . I doubt we will be back ."

"Great Unit
The unit was excellent - clean, modern and convenient. You can park on the same level so loading in/out was easy. Only negative was that we didn't realize we booked during bike week which isn't our thing. We were awakened every night with someone either screaming and yelling or by motorcycles revving in the parking garage. Not a peaceful time to be there and didn't get a lot of sleep. Also, management told me there was no ice to be found on the premises so I went to Kroger only to see later that the gift shop at the resort had a sign "Ice Sold Here". "

"Birthday Dream
We had a wonderful experience at Waters Edge! Room was amazing! Beautifully decorated and clean! View from the room was awesome! I love to walk so to be .6 of a mile from Garden City Pier and not quite 2 miles to Surfside Pier was great! I enjoyed the Farmers Market on Tuesday morning at Surfside Memorial Park and then Crafters Fair there on Thursday. Only 15 minutes to all the restaurants at Murrells Inlet was perfect! We will definitely be back and hopefully get room 206 again!!!"

"Upscale, Contemporary Condo!
Unit 206 was not one of the condos we considered staying in as we planned our vacation, but the condo turned out to be very nice. It was a beautiful condo, and the best parts about it were the kitchen appliances, the tile work in the bathrooms, and, at the time of our stay, the sleeper sofa was very comfortable. The main con was that mobile phone reception from this condo was extremely poor (perhaps this is the case with units on low floors, which none of us thought of as in the past we have stayed on higher floors, as in 7, 8, or 9, and had no problem). Don't count on your cell phone to be used in the room. Extra space in the living area could be made if the murphy bed was removed. This was a very boxy piece of furniture that took away a lot of needed room. A more practical kitchen table (i.e., one without a wine rack) would also be a plus. Other than these three things, the condo was very nice! During your stay at Water's Edge, I would definitely recommend a shopping trip to Hamrick's, which is an attraction in itself. We went there three times!"

The condo has been beautifully renovated. Located on the second floor made for a fantastic view of the ocean. The kitchen had everything you could need. Loved having a washer and dryer in the condo. The AC works great....I am very hot natured and got cold at times. Very clean. The location was great. Would definitely stay here again and again. "
