"Always a great time!
We have stayed at waters edge for only 2 years now but love it! This o the first time in this unit but it was great! The unit had everything we needed except dish soap but would definitely stay there again."

"Awesome Beach and Pool!
Overall, we had a great experience. We stayed with several other families and had a blast enjoying the beach and pool. Our condo accommodated four people, though the sleeping arrangements left a bit to be desired. The pull-out sofa was wrapped in plastic and extremely stiff—definitely not a viable option for sleeping. The Murphy bed was tolerable, but far from comfortable. Two of us didn’t sleep well, though the other two in the main bed slept great.

When we arrived, we discovered dirty pillowcases in the main shower, which was also covered in grime. Fortunately, I had brought cleaning supplies, so I returned the soiled linens to the front office and cleaned the shower myself. While the condo wasn't the most updated or cleanest we've stayed in, it was acceptable for a week-long stay.

We enjoyed our time overall, but we likely wouldn’t choose this particular unit again."

"Waters Edge Condo 0104
The view we had from the condo was terrific. The seating/living area was appointed very well. The bedroom and bathroom left a lot to be desired. Bedroom needs better table lamps. Bed hard as a rock. Only table lamp was a small crooked neck lamp you would find on a desk. The hall bathroom needs work on the door as it would not open or close properly, but it did have a tiled walk-in shower, but no light above. The shower curtain had mold at the bottom. The kitchen was sparse, but had the basics. It does have a Keurig coffee machine. The floor must not have been cleaned in a while since we continued to get black feet on the bottom from day 1.
Amenities such as pool, hot tub, and outside decking was very nice. However, the hot tub was basically used as a kiddie pool by families ignoring policy not to have children under five in the hot tub. Management did not enforce rules."

"good, could have been better
title sums up experience. the good, condo is right on a beautiful beach with oceanfront view. condo is well laid out and could accommodate 4 guests if you dont mind a murphy bed. negative issue was icemaker in fridge simply would not make ice.
as for the overall condo it seems a lot of maintenance was in catchup mode. we stayed the week leading into memorial day. pool was not ready for guests, elevators were being worked on, these issues should have been addressed much earlier before summer season started. other issue was parking spots made for small cars not our pickup that we travel to the beach in.

but the title sums it up, good could have been better."

"Steps away from the water
Overall the stay was great. The location was fantastic! The condo was clean and the check in process was very easy. My major complaint is that I booked through Air BNB. I recieved a receipt from them for one amount and a receipt from Water's Edge for another amount. It was roughly a $300 difference. I could not get help from Water's Edge resolving this issue. Air BNB stated that the host is the one who sets the price on their website, which makes sense. After speaking to Air BNB I spoke to Water's Edge and they advised me that they had no control over it and it was Air BNB's fault. I felt like I was given the run around. Although the location was nice, I don't believe I would book with them again. One last thing, if you do decide to stay here be sure to visit the bar. Lynn the bartender was awesome and immediately made us feel like old friends!"

This condominium resort is a family favorite because of its location, amenities, ambiance, and price. We've stayed in several units over the years and each offers stunning oceanfront views and convenience. We have stayed days, weeks, and even winter months at Waters Edge. We've been alone and with several family members...of all ages. The view of (night&day) and the walk to the Garden City Fishing Pier is a true joy. Stay here. You'll LOVE it. "

Great unit. Although, renters should be made aware that smoking section for bar/beach is just below got a bit loud in the evening hours..
Couldn't find sheets for the Murphy bed..just used a blanket from closet like a sleeping bag."

We have been to Garden City before but never stayed at the Water's Edge. We really had no idea about what to expect upon arriving. We were totally surprised. From the moment we arrived until we left we had a great extended weekend vacation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was just like we wanted. The location was great to get around. We will definitely stay at the Water's Edge going forward when we come to Garden City again.
