"Lengthy Fall 2024 Stay at Waters Edge
This was a great location for vacationing and visiting with family/friends in South Carolina during this fall. The unit was well-equipped for even a lengthy stay for 1 or 2 people. It would be a little crowded for additional visitors for more than an overnight or two, but that was expected. A sleeper sofa in the living area does make that possible. The unit was nicely furnished and had very nice living and kitchen areas. The shower in the master bath needs some tile and grout work, as well as an associated deep cleaning, but was otherwise adequate. The bedroom location next to the breezeway entrance and the elevator was convenient but noisy. The view of the ocean and the resort recreation/amenities areas was excellent however the balcony and the sliding door need cleaning and maintenance. The ceiling needs repair in several areas. The air conditioning system worked very well but needs better professional maintenance than it is currently getting. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would like to visit again. I'm just trying to be honest and pointing out some real issues that will lead to greater problems if they are not addressed. I would recommend the property to a friend with qualifications. This review may be appropriate for consideration by management and the unit owners but is not intended for commercial advertisement. It may not be what you are looking for with regard to your "Tips for Writing Reviews". I hope you understand. "

Our condo was newly remodeled. Very spacious well planned in every detail.
Excellent taste. Would ask to rent this unit again.
The front desk staff was very happy to help us in any way. Had some questions and they handled them very professionally.
Just a shame the hurricane did so much damage. But all in all they handled everything professionally.

"Very Late Checking In
Saturday we could not check in until 6:45. This was not a good way to start our Vacation. We had traveled 5hrs in traffic and had items that needed to get into the the room. We also wanted to change and have a little time on the Beach, since this is what we paid for. The probert manager never called us. The Office supervisor was very nice Tuesday morning. She did reduce some fees and allowed for a small credit. "

Great stay. Needed a vacation really bad. Room was great. 2nd floor room 2008 was very comfortable and we plan on asking for that room on our next stay. Waters Edge was a great experience. "Not the Waters Edge we remember!!
We have stayed @ Waters Edge several times in the past. Due to some health problems we haven’t been able to travel in the last two years so we thought hey let’s go back to WE in Garden City. Big mistake....power kicking off for hours at a time almost everyday. Ok ...we understand it happens,you can’t fight Mother Nature and WE got hit with lightning (so they say). But hot tub inside was roped off with yellow tape and didn’t work all week,the hot tub outside did not work all week, pools were filthy, snack bar closed all week and last but not least is the condition of the hotel. Our room was good(208) but the hotel itself needs some major updates and repairs. It’s really upsetting because we loved WE but looks like we have stayed our last time here. Asked about a refund and heard nothing!!"

Was very nice ,so enjoyed my rental at 208 Waters . The Unit 208 was immaculate ,which is important to me! Decorated very pretty , unit was very well stocked with everything that you would need for cooking, also in good condition no staining or rust marks on anything pots or silverware. Perfect!"

"Our "Happy Place"
This is the 4th time we have stayed in Unit 208. It is perfect for us. Being on the 2nd floor, we don't have to wait for an elevator except to go to the beach. The condo is always very clean. We also love the key pad entry so we don't have to keep up with a key. The only recommendation I have is an extention cord is needed in the bedroom for one of the lamps. We hope to be back in September. "
