"Excellent beachfront stay
This was the perfect place for our family of 5. We loved the easy walk to the beach and the inclusion of the beach chairs. We had fun at the pool, tennis courts and volleyball net too. I think this might be one of the only places on the beach with a net! As for the room - also perfect, spacious, clean, organized and with everything you need. Love that it’s right across from mini golf and stewbys, too! Thanks for an awesome vacation! We will be back! "

The location of the condo was very convenient and the view was amazing. Did have a couple of complaints though such as the AC would only work half the time, the area rug in the living room was very dirty so your feet would be black afterwards. We had problems with the sliding glass door opening as well. "

"Gulf Dunes Unit #315
The rental unit was not as clean as with previous experiences at Gulf Dunes. Immediately noticeable was the dirty and sandy floor. My wife was not happy with the condition of the floor and ended up mopping the floor three times to get it clean. There was a mop in the unit but no mop bucket so she had to use a trash can for the water. Also disgusting was the rug under the coffee table. It left the bottoms of your feet black. It obviously hasn't been laundered or cleaned in a very long time. The bunk bed room had trash under the nightstand and under the bed. "

"315 Gulf Dunes
Older, quiet location with beautiful beach that has recently been updated. AC can be adjusted, but resets itself automatically to 75+, so on those days/nights of 90+ temperatures and high humidity, it gets pretty stuffy! Floors and baseboards were dirty...did not walk barefoot; too grimy. Need to replace outdoor dining chairs and the rug in the living room (it was nasty). Kitchen was well equipped. Having washer/dryer was a huge plus. Consider replacing one full bed with a queen in the double room."

"Great vacation
I’ve stayed in many different condos on Okaloosa/Ft. Walton Beach over the last 30 years. This was the most well-stocked unit I’d been in. It had Very Comfortable furniture. Nicely decorated- not overly beachy. Dan, the beach chair man, was super nice and informative about storms coming. My out-of-state guests were first time visitors and had a great time."

"Cozy and comfortable
We were very happy with our condo at the Gulf Dunes.
The view was great. Convenient to get to the beach. Condo had most of what we needed. Somethings that we missed having: cutting board, knife sharpener. Also a smart TV in the living room would be nice so we could use our Hulu/Netflix subscriptions. We'll be back in 2023!"

"Perfect Condo for our family!
We booked this condo for our family of 6, but my kids also brought along 2 friends. The bunk room was small be perfect for my boys. The 2 beds in the guest bedroom was great for all of the girls. The kitchen had everything we needed. The fridge has a water and ice dispenser which was awesome and unexpected. The pool is small and does get crowded, but the tradeoff is that the parking was easy and we always found a spot."

"Fun in the sun.
My family and I had a wonderful stay at Gulf Dunes. The condo is an older condo which gave us the feeling of coming home. The condo itself was clean and inviting. My grandchildren spent a lot of time in the pool and walking the beach for shells. It was conveniently located and easy to get to attractions and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this condo to my friends and family. In addition the people who managed the condo were friendly and professional. "

"Room 315
We loved the stay but there were a few things worth noting. There was nothing to cook with. No baking dishes, cookie trays, baking trays, tongs, spatulas. Nothing to speak of. The dryer and dishwasher were not working right and each took upwards of 4 hours to finish a load. The ice maker would also only make a cup of ice per day. The rooms were nice. The view was great. Pool was great. Everything else was good!"

"Wonderful family vacation
We had a great stay at Gulf Dunes 315. A short drive from Destin, restaurants and activities. Proximity to the pool and beach was perfect. The beach itself was beautiful, the pool is small but worked for when the kids wanted something without waves. The condo itself had everything we needed as a family of 6, I don’t think I would want to pack 8 into it but it felt just right for our family. The kids did say the rooms by the hallway were a little noisy at night, so just be aware if you are a light sleeper. For them it was just a slight annoyance. The view is gorgeous, we loved having breakfast on the balcony in the mornings to start our days. We definitely would and plan to return."

Overall the stay was good, there were some problems (Unit315): No remote for living room DVD; bedroom DVD did not work; the fridge water filter is well past expired; no curtains in bunkroom. Also there was not enough toilet paper (2 rolls) or dishwasher soap. Overall the unit felt a bit dingy and worn, particularly furnishings."

"Great Rental for a Christmas Holiday
This rental was everything we wanted for the season. The unit rated a 10 in my opinion for layout and amenities. We love this location as it is away from the hustle of Destin yet easily accessible.
Alliances were up to date and the cookware was useable which is not often the case.
I probably wouldnt rent at the height of beach season as is right above the pool and would get quite noisy.
I would definitely recommend this unit and will request it again for a great winter vaca to the beach."

The property was very nice. The girl that checked us in though took a little too long to explain everything and she was very rude to my son. I felt like I was in a lecture.
