"Family vacation 2024
We love Brooks & Shorey and have worked with them for over a decade. This trip included our children and grandchildren and the condo had plenty of room for everyone. It appears to have been updated recently with new appliances and stackable washer and dryer. Everything was nice and clean.

I would not recommend this property for any seniors or grandparents in your family. There is only an island bar top with stools to sit. This includes the outdoor furniture which will be difficult for them to get into. There are NO hair dryers so bring your own and you may need your own pillow not enough pillows to accommodate all the beds listed. The king and queen mattresses were hard as a rock, so not much good sleep all week. Owners please no personal photos, this is a big no in the bedroom especially.

We had issues with cars in our parking space and the second level parking lot blocked off. The property manager was great to deal with other vehicles parked in the wrong spaces, but the re-sealing of parking should be done in the off season not peak season. HOA should handle this better.

Overall we love Ft. Walton and will be back. Always a pleasure to eat at McQuire's and Crabtrap, Stewby's and more. Wish we had known the next two days were available through the holiday weekend, we would have stayed more than a week and purchased a foam mattress pad for the hard bed!"

Brooks and Shorey are great to rent from. They have an app that is very helpful, from check in to check out. The condo is located in a good location. 4th floor, awesome view of the beach/ocean. The condo was clean and had plenty of room. My ONLY suggestion is that they should consider painting the ceiling and walls, a touch up, it's time in my opinion. All the furnishings was good."

"Island Princess 415 July 2020
This condo was great! My parents, brother, my husband, myself, and our 2.5 year old stayed for a week and had plenty of room for our all of our things. The beds were comfortable and it was very nice having a separate bathroom for each bedroom. The patio furniture was top notch as well! I would make sure to bring extra silverware though- there wasn’t enough for every meal. Also, the master bathtub was difficult to get in and out of, and the doors did not operate correctly. Other than those two things, it was a great condo and we would definitely go back! "

"Clean Room, Crowded Beach Chairs
My family and another vacationed together, the condo was clean and provided all the amenities for a very relaxing and pleasant stay. The only complaint we have was the arrangement of the beach chairs. I know this is not in your direct control;however, you can perhaps pass this feedback to the appropriate staff. Even not considering COVID-19 the chairs on the beach were entirely too close together, it was difficult to even walk between umbrellas to get to the water from the second row. I could extend my elbow and touch the person in the next umbrella. A staggered pattern for the umbrellas would be more effective. "

"Spring break 2020
Had a great time and location of condo was great. We would definitely go back. Only wish would be to supply more towels, even beach towels would be nice. Had to do wash everyday and only was left with detergent for one wash. Moer staples provided would be nice but overall it was perfect."

"We had a great experience
This property was very clean and well maintained, decorated nicely and all beds were comfortable. It is very nice to have a washer/dryer and a bathroom with each of the three bedrooms. The kitchen was well appointed (except for one skillet that needs replaced). When we had a shower head not working properly I notified the management company via the app and they came out within a couple of hours to fix it. The pool and entire condo are is well maintained and the chair service staff were very friendly and helpful. "

"Great Condo With a View
We we’re very pleased with everything about Island Princess Condos. The location was wonderful. We we’re able to park free with covered parking. The exterior of the condo was well maintained. Our unit 415 was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It is directly on the beach and we had views from the living area and the master bedroom. With 3 bathrooms we were all very happy. This in my opinion is a great place to stay."

"Spring Break Trip
This was our first trip to the Destin/Fort Walton area. Although we had some stormy and windy weather the first couple of days, the condo provided a beautiful view. This unit was clean, comfortable, spacious, and quiet as it was at the end of the building away from the pool area. The bunk bed room was great for our (2) pre-teens. The pool and hot tub were well-maintained and cleaned in the early morning daily. The weather for the remainder of our stay was beautiful. White, soft sand and a beautiful beach. Water was a bit too cold, but we could still enjoy the beach and a boat ride out to crab island. The property management company was easy to work with."

Our group of 3 adults and 3 kids really enjoyed our Spring Break trip at the IP 415. The view of the Gulf and beach was awesome from the balcony. The beach was not too crowded and the beach service was really good. We took advantage of the Golf and the Dolphin Tour and really enjoyed both. Would stay here again. "

"Nice beach view
Overall was a nice clean rental. One thing to fix would be all 3 showers that didn’t drain. Nothing worse than ankle deep water in a shower. Close to activities and Destin was a very short drive away as well."

"Can’t wait to go back again!
Our visit was, unfortunately, cut short by the arrival of hurricane Michael, but we were able to make the most of the time we were there. The condo was clean, beautiful and the view was beyond amazing. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had all the things that we needed. The pool was lovely and we were steps to the ocean. We felt almost spoiled by the chairs and umbrellas already waiting for us on the sand. Working with Brooks and Shorey was easy, their staff was friendly and they were more than fair. They refunded us the days that we weren’t able to stay even though we hadn’t bought the travel insurance. Wonderful experience, in spite of the hurricane. We will go back and we will work with Brooks and Shorey again. "

"4th Floor 3 Bedroom
The Beach Service was amazing. It was very clean and there weren't any steep drop offs. The pool was small but adequate. The pool hours were late which was nice for the kids after dinner. As an adult, it is always nice to have a hot tub in case you need to warm up. The view was excellent. Our room was on the 4th floor. There was another room on the 1st floor available at a much cheaper rate since you can't see the ocean. Definitely would be worth it if the others weren't in your budget. We had older adults in our group that didn't always go to the beach and liked looking at it from our room. We were close to restaurants and activities without a crowd. I would definitely recommend this condo."

" Great family vacation!
The condo was great-very clean and living area furniture was comfortable.The beds were comfortable and the kids loved the double bed bunk beds. Having 3 bathrooms certainly made it nice when it was time to clean up. If someone wants to cook was well stocked with equipment. Nice touch was a regular coffee pot as well as a Keith.Washer dryer combo and dishwasher is older but worked fine. Pool was nice , hot tub a little small so occasionally crowded.Evan with Coastal beach service did an outstanding job-the setup was nice and then he also checked back to see if we needed anything else. The exercise room was small but nice.The complex is well maintained and kept clean -even during the day.The check in and check out process could not have been more professional or easier."
