"Not too pleased with condo 360
We love Fort Walton beach to say the least but this year when we went we stayed in condo 360. Last year we stayed in condo 361. Well this year we paid $4000 for this condo for the week and it had very nice views from all areas in it but for that kind of money we were not pleased at all. The 2nd bedroom had the 2 queen beds like it stated in the description but in the room was a very small 19” TV (who has those anymore!) so if our girls wanted to watch tv they had to do it in the living room (who can see a show on a 19” tv). The condo was pretty had lots of mirrors but it’s very outdated. In the kitchen the can opener was broken and the pots and pans need replacing. The living room was very nice! Then on to the master there was only a 25” old Emerson tv in there so no watching tv there. The door was one of those doors that slide in and out of the wall and does not lock so my husband and I couldn’t lock our door for any privacy. The outlets in the walls were crooked and in the master bath the paint and material was peeling up on the cabinet and looked to have some mold growing on it. The bed was not very comfortable either. The water pressure was very bad and the toilets acted like they didn’t want to flush. I’m not trying to be all negative about this condo but for what we paid you’d think it was the best of the best. The condo we stayed in last year was better than this and we paid $500 less for it. So I’m thinking we might find a new place to stay next year and maybe a different rental company because when I expressed the issues we had with it we were not given any type of satisfaction. But again we love Fort Walton beach and will always vacation there. "

"El Matador #360
We love Unit #360! We will be there again next year. There were a few issues. The two lights (under the microwave) for the kitchen stove did not work. The fan for the kitchen stove needed its filter to be replaced. The balcony door from the living room did not have a screen door. The ceiling light in the 2nd bedroom had some bulbs not working and there were no replacements. The balcony light did not work. The faucet for the sink in the 2nd bathroom needs either repair or replacement. It is quite loose.
The view is wonderful, catching both the sunrise and the sunset.

Perfect location in a condo that has had extensive updates. Everything in the condo was first class, modern and worked flawlessly. We very much enjoyed the complimentary use of a beach umbrella and chairs each day.
We enjoyed watching the porpoises from our balcony each day!

"Week at El Matador
Loved our stay. Wish the room had a washer and dryer. The room needs some updating walls and fixtures. The switch in the double room didn't work. Light fixture on balcony was messed up and worked half the time. Wish the couch was a pull out. But we Love the Matador, it's one of our fav locations. We had a great stay."

"Wonderful condo!
This was the second year our family has stayed at the El Matador complex. This condo was very clean and tastefully decorated. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. The kids really appreciated having the bigger beds. I was glad to have the seating on the balcony for us to enjoy breakfast and watch the ocean life. I would highly recommend this unit and when booking a condo. We had a mixup with our payment and they were quick and helpful in getting it resolved. Excellent!"

Surf Dwellers was excellent. The condo's for each of our daughters families were very nice 701 was absolutely beautiful.
El Matador we stayed 2nd week with friends, very nice however I would choice surf Dwellers ove El Matador. Our unit was just refurbished and beautiful. "

Unit 360 _ I have been fortunate to have this unit several times for the month of January. It is the ultimate experience. A total view of the beach - watch the sunrise and then later watch the sunset from the balcony. Inside the unit - an up to date and great supplied kitchen. The window covers facing east (kitchen & living room) provides spectacular views of the new day. The bedrooms and bathroom are great. "

"A week of rest, relaxation, and coming to terms with life events.
My family and I have vacationed here many times and that is due to the relaxed excellence of these condos. The staff with AJ Hollis rental-management is easily accessible, very helpful and communicative. As usual our stay was amazing. It primarily consisted of daily spa visits, beaching , and relaxing, penthouse balcony sitting, where you can view the sunrise And the sunset. Also enjoyed was catching pompano from the beach and collecting giant seashells from long walks on the 17 miles of undeveloped beach adjacent to the property. The room itself has updated décor that is clean and in good order. The fresh and local seafood is always a treat as well. #360 is the prime room at this facility. I would not hesitate to stay here again and again. "

"Best Unit on the Property
Our family has been staying at the El Matador for 20 + years and El Matador 360 is superior to any other unit we have stayed in. The unit is completely updated, and the furniture and beds are very comfortable. The open concept with the removal of the kitchen/dining wall gives the feeling of grandeur. The view is second to none for those early morning sunrises and afternoon sunsets. "

Our BEST trip yet! This condo is absolutely GORGEOUS and the nicest we have stayed in! Absolutely everything was perfect, so beautiful and tastefully decorated. The condo has all items you need including the fully stocked kitchen with beautiful granite and stainless appliances. The ocean view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking with spectular views from every direction. The free beach service was a delight! Such a great location! Thank you for an amazing vacation! I would very easily give this unit a 5 star rating on every category except for one major flaw. The master bathroom does not have a door on entry or on commode area. The sound from use in the middle of night woke my wife on every occasion. (and her to me). This will preclude my further use. The unit was beautiful and clean. Realtor was great. I would recommend, with a caveat, the unit to a friend. DS"

"Spring Break Stay
Overall it was a good experience. Condo is the best of the El Matador condos we have ever stayed in and we have been coming here since 2006. It was very nicely furnished and has an amazing view of the beach. One fatal flaw that would keep me form renting there again was the fact that there is no door to the Master Bathroom. Anyone using the bathroom/sink/closet is very visible to anyone else in the room. Some things should remain a mystery in a marriage. Simply adding a door would solve a lot of problems.

"Unbelievable vacation
The rental condo was absolutely perfect! The view was spectacular and beautiful at any time of the day. Ate breakfast/lunch/dinner on the porch as the views were breathtaking. Unit very clean, beautifully decorated and spacious for our family. Kids enjoyed their room with their own tv while husband and I enjoyed our quiet quarters with the beach waves sounds in the background. Highly recommend this condo as the owner has done a nice job to keep it well maintained. Sharing a hidden secret with the world for this location but plan on coming back to this rental next year!"
