"Great ocean view
Beach house was in an excellent location
overlooking the beach. It was quiet even
during the holiday. It was like having our
own private beach. However,
the house needed some repairs including
stairs with loose boards and broken light fixtures.

"Good location, clean but would not rent again.
The house was clean and we loved the beachfront location. Unfortunately the house only has one very narrow porch and the view of the beach was blocked by shrubbery. We did not like that the master bedroom had openings overlooking the family room, very noisy. Kitchen could have been a bitter better stocked (no can opener or measuring cups, very small microwave). None of the downstairs bedrooms had dressers for clothes. Overall it was fine but we would not choose to stay here again for the reasons listed."

"Absolutely Amazing :
Beautiful beach front home with everything you could possibly need. Great fun in the sun at the beach . This is our 2nd stay at this home & already planning our next visit. The Host Scott was very accommodating and helpful. Very spacious for large family gathering We cannot wait to visit again."

"Lovely place at the beach
The place was gorgeous with a tremendous location and view. The great room with high ceiling was nicely connected with kitchen and dining area. As a party of 10 (sleeps 10), we were grateful for the 4 kitchen stools to fit around the dining table, which was large enough to accommodate.
As we had 3 couples and 4 singles, 2 of us slept on couches, which was fine. We did employ one extra blanket from our car.
The driveway is steep, but we could park in the garage, which is snug for 2 cars.
The information binder should have some pages removed that applied to some other condos, so we found some contradictory information.
The kitchenware looked brand new. There was no hand soap for the kitchen or laundry soap provided.
The wifi was pretty sketchy.
We did see some cockroach activity downstairs.
It was however a little impersonal and we had no rapport with the hosts, apparently a largish impersonal company.
Overall, an very nice experience.

"Great place
The house was great. The only issue was the door to the master bedroom was dirty and moldy. My guess is because it is a sliding door, it’s closed and not seen by the cleaning crew. "

"TURTLES AND DOLPHINS
WE WERE VERY COMFORTABLE, THE FACILITY WAS BEAUTIFUL. I WOULD SUGGEST LANDSCAPING THE OCEANFRONT SHRUBS TO ENHANCE THE VIEW. THERE WERE APPLIANCES THAT NEEDED REPAIR. I DIDN'T CONTACT THE MANAGEMENT ABOUT IT DURING MY STAY BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO DEAL WITH IT DURING MY VACATION. THE RECYCLING GOT PICKED UP ON FRIDAY, NOT THURSDAY. WHEN I ARRIVED THERE WAS A LOT OF TRASH FROM THE PREVIOUS TENAT THAT I HAD TO DISPOSE OF."

"Casa Tortuga
Good afternoon
I hope you found everything in order at the Casa Tortuga after our departure. We had a good time other than a few mishaps. They are listed below so maybe they can be corrected for the next visitor.
1. Not having direct beach access was very disappointing and an inconvenience to everyone. Received email Jan 10th saying walkway had been repaired and House received no damage from the storm. With notice we could have made other arrangements.
2. No remote control found to work the third floor TV
3. Someone’s underwear, toothbrush, and a few other items were left in 3rd floor bedroom bedside table from past guest. We did not touch them and left them there.
4. Washing machine would not work properly. Kept repeating the cycle, had to catch it as soon as it finished or it would start to fill again.
5. Dryer took multiple times to dry clothing.
6. In description on house it would have been nice to know the drive way was a steep hill since we were coming in on motorcycles.
Just a few things that may help on future rentals. As far as the financial side of our stay. It was easy booking and payment transactions for our stay.

"Great Location but...
The location was great, and room was ample for our group however the boardwalk access was damaged and no beach access was very frustrating. The boardwalk was unstable and yet there was no barricade or signage to prevent guests from walking out over the unstable structure (huge safety and liability concern). Additionally, we had to search for towels as there was none in the master bedroom or bathroom upstairs. The property did have wifi, however it took a day to find it, as the info was not in the binder as noted. "

"Casa Tortuga stay
We stayed for a long weekend with a group of friends. The home was in a great location and perfect for a large group. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My only complaints would be, for checkout, they ask to not take comforters to laundry, which leads me to think they aren’t washed after each use. My second complaint was, we saw quite a few (live) roaches. One being on a baby’s bassinet when waking up in the morning. I know this issue is very common in Florida, but I would recommend spraying more frequently. "

"Great vacation home!
Casa Tortuga is definitely one of the nicest vacation homes my family & I have stayed in. Everything was positive except for the comforters needed a good wash (the master bedroom comforter smelled of sweat) and the showers were a bit slippery due to the grade to drain & tiles were not non-skid type for shower floors. "

"Nice getaway right on the ocean
Had a great time with our family at Casa Tortuga. Enjoyed being able to walk right out to the beach. House was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the sunrises every morning and the sunsets from the bedroom balcony every evening. The location was convenient to the Flagler beach area with lots of great dining and a little over 30 minutes to St Augustine. They included a garage door remote which enabled us to park in the garage which was great because the driveway is pretty steep. Would definitely come back here again."

"Family Beach Trip
The property could be a 5 star house with a little attention to detail. Location is incredible and beach was great. The house needed maintained. Light burnt out and fans not working. Old and dirty toys on deck. Hose nozzle broken. Bedding has poor quality in comparison to the home and cost. I paid for an extra suitcase to bring beach towels based on listing only to find an able supply at the property. Communication with management company was great. Check in smooth. I would return. I just hope the little things are given attention. Again location was incredible!!!!!"

"Amazing Beach Getaway!
We absolutely loved the house and the Flagler Beach. The house was perfect size for our two families and the teenagers loved having their own space downstairs to hang out while adults were on the main floor. The beach is great, water is a little rough for small children, but great for older kids. House was very clean and airy. Kitchen was great, just maybe stocking up on cooking utensils & kitchen gear."

"Kelford -Jenkins Wedding Cottage
Casa Tortuga was just the perfect rental for our stay. Our daughter was getting married at Hammock Beach Resort over the weekend, so we needed a spacious space for everyone. The cottage had everything, it was just beautiful, the beds were so comfortable , and you could sit on the couch and see the ocean from the living room. It was right on the beach and it was just like having the entire beach to ourselves. We even arrived early due to tropical storm Elsa and the staff was so accommodating, they let us enter the cottage a couple hours early. We cannot wait to return next year. "

"Amazing, Wonderful, Lovely
Casa Tortuga is the perfect get away to unplug and relax. Tastefully decorated, comfortable and you cant get any closer to the beach and ocean. The sounds of the sea along with the frequent shadows of the pelicans flying by make this one of my all time favorite relaxing get aways. The sand is amazing, tons of shells, cinnamon in color, just lovely. Can't say enough, a must on your bucket list. To future travelers please take care of this lovely home so we can keep enjoying it. I will be back. Thanks to the Cinnamon Beach rentals for your great service. Most of all thanks to the hosts for sharing your lovely home. Absolutely loved it and miss being at Casa Tortuga. "

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Casa Tortuga! There was plenty of room for the 4 couples that stayed there and the accommodations were fabulous. "Well..............
I've waited 2 months to write these words in order that I not write them in anger but, unfortunately, I'm still angry. Here goes....
We arrived to find 3 overflowing trash containers - one stuffed with liquor bottles - outside the garage rather than at street-side for pick up. We dutifully took them to the street where, in fact, they were never picked up after 5 days.
The garage and first floor of the house were utterly over run with cockroaches. Really. Perhaps the un-dumped trash was a contributing factor....
My new wife took a very bad spill on the mold covered steps located on the south side of the house.
The air conditioning system failed on during our last 36 hours at the house. Temperature inside: 83.
Burglars broke into a guests car and stole items including a legal, registered and hidden pistol.
I'm 65 and I've traveled the world and stayed in some wonderful and awful places. Guess which this is."

"Beautiful beach getaway
Our extended family enjoyed a week in this beautiful property. It looks just as the photos portray. We loved being able to get up and just walk out the sliders onto the deck and down the stairs to a beautiful, quiet beach. Stores and restaurants are nearby. "

"Fantastic home rental right on the beach
Great house for our family. We rented Casa Tortuga for a week with our immediate family of eight. This place was perfect. Plenty of room, all the amenities that you would need and it is just a short distance to the beach. Cinnamon beach vacations was great to work with. Access to the house was easy and communication was open at all times. We would definitely rent Casa Tortuga again. "

"Incredible ocean views and private beach!
Was everything our family was looking for and more! We wanted an escape from crowded beaches with some separation from neighbors and this one delivered. Felt like we were on our own private beach most days as only a handful of other people walked by all day. Other than the volunteers checking on sea turtle nests, and a few walking their dogs, we were left to the beauty of nature and the gorgeous cinnamon beach! We had the fortune of staying for the month during the height of Covid-19 so we truly were able to escape. The home was stocked with most essentials necessary to cook, with a Publix just a 10 minute ride either direction for supplies. We did frequent the Oceanside restaurant on a few occasions to enjoy their ocean view deck. Food was enjoyable and service the same. WIFI was working just fine for us during our stay so apparently fixed whatever issue tenants had prior. There was some difficulty with our cell provider within the house so just had to find a specific spot to use phone. As mentioned, the driveway is very steep so definitely use parking break. We spent most days on the deck or on the beach for obvious reasons, with either morning coffee or afternoon glass of wine, watching the dolphins, birds, and even a sea turtle leaving her nest after laying her eggs. Plenty of beach chairs and towels available, and outdoor water hose came in handy to wash off the sand/shells that stick to you. You won't be disappointed with this home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back next year! Lots of family memories for sure!"

"Beach vacation
The location was great and having a private deck walking out to the beach was great! There was no internet in the house and no one let us know what time they would be coming out so we missed them coming out to fix it. The house overall worked for our group and the company answered any questions I had promptly. It has a very steep drive driveway so make sure your parking break works really well. There’s a garage but the vehicle we had was too tall. Overall for the price we paid, it worked great. You can’t beat waking up and sleeping to ocean waves!"
