"The Inn 305
Lobby was clean and nicely air-conditioned. The elevators were clean and prompt. The pool and area was clean. Unit 305 was well-equipped with kitchen items. Could use more dishcloths. The kitchen and baths were clean. The unit needs a deep cleaning as the ceiling fans and baseboards were dirty. The couch and chair need to be cleaned. The box springs need replacing as they would creak every time you rolled over. Was unable to get the tv in the second bedroom to work. Owner needs to check the ceiling in living room and master for water damage. Unit felt cozy and inviting otherwise. 6 digit code for room was a bit much. Skinner's Seafood, Reel Deal BBQ and Seafood, and Lighthouse Bakery were all good places to eat. Take a wagon or plastic toboggan sled to get items to the beach. It is a hike!"

Clean comfy condo. Kitchen well equipped. Wonderful view of the gulf. Watching the huge full strawberry moon rise over the water is something I will never forget. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony, plenty of chairs. Hope to stay there again soon! "

"Wonderful!
This condo is great with a beautiful view! It was very nicely stocked in the kitchen with plenty of cookware and utensils. There were more than enough bathroom towels for us to use. You’ll want to bring your own dishwasher detergent and clothing detergent if need to run more than two loads. We loved sitting in the living with the sliding door open and the main door cracked open to let the breeze blow through; it was mid 70s outside. I do recommend the mattresses on the beds be updated, and the squeaky box springs to the twin beds. Also, be sure to buy most of your groceries mainland before arriving. Dollar General is nearby just right off the island but may not have everything you need. Gas station on the island is nicely stocked with typical gas station grocery items."

"Total Relaxation!
The condo was fantastic! It was nicely and comfortably furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed. Having a king-sized bed in the master bedroom was one of the reasons I chose this particular condo. Many rentals have only queen-sized beds. It is obvious that The Inn at Dauphin Island takes very good care of it's property. And the view was fabulous and we were a 2 minute walk to the beach. We spent a lot of time on the balcony just watching the waves. Dauphin Island is not commercialized--there are NO fast food restaurants, just local restaurants and shops. But we had some of the best seafood we've ever eaten while on the island. Pirates Bar & Grill, Capt'n Snappers, and Islanders were all very good but we liked Islanders the best. The slow pace of the island is what made this much-needed vacation a big "win". We definitely recommend The Inn and unit 305. You won't be disappointed."

"Beautiful Room - plan to stay here year after year!
Our vacation experience in Room 305 was fantastic! The room was beautiful, clean and in excellent condition. Our only suggestion to the owner, property manager is an update to the appliances. The fridge did not maintain control of the temp very well (often freezing our food - even when having turned it down - and the door to the freezer would not stay sealed well). The dishwasher has some rusty racks and was extremely loud. Would also suggest adding a few more towels, large cutting board and a crockpot would be nice to have). I’m not complaining - just making suggestions. Even with these little concerns - we LOVED the room and the help at The Inn! We plan to stay in this room again!! "

Our rental was fantastic. Very clean unit with plenty of space for our small family of 3. Great ocean view with two swimming pools. Unit has everything you need. If you plan on washing any dishes by hand, make sure to bring your own dish soap as there is not any at the unit."

Dauphin Island is a great location to spend time on the beach with family. We rented last minute but the process was very smooth. Location is top notch and the unit was very good as well. Could use some updates; vent in bathroom doesn't work, some rust on the patio doors due to the salt in the air, etc. But overall great time!"

The condo was very clean and the location was great for the beach. The view off of the balcony was beautiful. The pool closed at 9 and people were respectful of that so there wasn't any late night noise when we were there. Check in/out was simple. Just bring your own toiletries because there weren't any provided! "

"Best secret on the coast.
We had an amazing time at The Inn and Dauphin. Our only concern is word will get out how wonderfully quiet and low-key is this place. The hidden gem is for those who need a place to rest and recover from the madness in this world. If you want to party and make a lot of noise, please go to the west side of the bay. We loved the cleanliness and quietness of the The Inn. The staff were super helpful and always friendly. We had such a great time in May we are coming back in a few months. "

"Overall a good stay
The stay started off rough as we were not made aware of the necessary gate code to enter the parking lot. I had to call the rental agency to get the code. We were disappointed that there was only 2 rolls of toilet paper for a four night stay. Also the mattress in the master bedroom could stand to be replaced. Other than these complaints, the stay went pretty well. Being on the beach is wonderful and the location is close to everything on the island.
I don't fault the condo, but I did have my credit card number stolen from this reservation. Some fraudulent chargers were made and my e-mail address has been signed up for many newsletters. I phoned the rental management and they said this is the first they've heard of such an occurrence, but I'm sure this was the event because we don't use the card for anything else but Amazon.
Between the hacking of my credit card, the lack of a gate code and the bad mattress, I don't think we will be staying here again."

"Spring Break Recharge
Our recent trip was our first time to Dauphin Island and we fell in love with the island. The condo was perfect for our family and had everything we needed. We did not cook any major meals, but the kitchen seemed to be well stocked and met our needs. My husband commented that this was probably the most comfortable condo we have stayed in as far as beds, pillows, chairs, and couches, and I agree. The condo and Inn were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Since it was early March we were very pleased to find that one of the two pools was heated. The Inn is also located on a beautiful wide stretch of beach for the kids to play and we were able to bike everywhere on the island. We will definitely be back!"

"Two Relaxing weeks on DI
My wife and I come to DI every September, what a relaxing couple of weeks. The weather was extremely hot (record setting temperatures) but we hardly noticed. The beach was not crowded and the pools were crystal clear. We ate at a few on island restaurants, you can’t go wrong with any of them. Our favorite activity was going to watch the sunrise at the east end of the island, we saw some good ones! The condo was clean, the furniture comfortable, it had plenty of dishes and cookware and the view is A+ .... We have stayed in this one 5 or 6 times.... can’t wait for next September!"

"Our stay in #305, June 2-7, 2019
Check-in on Sunday was a breeze and exactly as noted in the instructions we received by email and phone call. The unit was spotless and decorated in a contemporary, beachy style. The location and views were excellent and as depicted online. The kitchen and baths were very weIl-equipped, as was the laundry room with a vacuum, brooms, and mop. The grounds and pools were clean and well-kept. We contacted management twice - once because the secondary bedroom’s tv wouldn’t connect to the service (the maintenance man responded quickly, but never came back with the replacement cable he said he’d get so we could never use that tv), and second, when the noises from the unit above became intrusive for long periods (the manager got back to us asap and the issues were resolved). We would definitely stay in the unit again and recommend it highly to friends and family. We spent three days on the beach at the Inn, one at the west end beach, and shopped and ate locally. We especially enjoyed the fresh seafood from Skinner’s and being able to cook in our condo instead of eat out constantly. We visited the Sea Lab and Ft. Gaines. It was a great week."

"Peaceful and Beautiful Island
Dauphin Island is the perfect place to get away from the rush and congestion of big city living. At DI we can let go and relax. This was our 10th trip to DI and each time we find something new to see. We always go to the Estuarium because the money raised goes to such good causes. The aquariums are beautiful and the interactive displays are a great way for our children (and us) to learn about ocean life. Taking the ferry over to Gulf Shores is always a fun adventure. Restaurants on DI are pretty slim in the selection; however, there are some really good places to eat or order takeout. We enjoyed the Real Deal BBQ restaurant located conveniently across the street from Inn at DI. Our condo unit 305 was amazing. We've stayed in about 7 different units and this was by far the best. Furniture was new (not hand-me-down), comfy, plentiful and the beds were comfortable. The TVs were large in all 3 rooms!! It rained a few days so we put together puzzles, played games & watched movies we rented from the local Redbox. Unit 305 has a Jacuzzi jetted tub in the master which was perfect! The appliances, pots, pans, dishes and utensils were excellent quality. It felt more like home instead of a rental. We will definitely return to DI and request unit 305! Office staff very friendly and provided excellent service."

The location of the Inn was close enough to town to be able to walk places but far enough away that it wasn't crowded. The condo that we stayed in was clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay (minus extra toilet paper). We enjoyed our stay and may return in the future."

We traveled to Dauphin Island for a family wedding. We were very pleased with The Inn 305. It was beautifully decorated, very clean and very well stocked. Even though we really didn’t do any cooking, it was obvious that all the necessities were there. The bed was very comfortable.

"The Inn at Dauphin Island Unit 305
This was by far one of the best vacation rentals we have had. It was exactly as described. I was concerned about a pool directly below our unit, but the pool closes at 9:00 p.m. which makes for a quiet evening to sit on the balcony which was furnished beautifully. The view from the balcony was beautiful and there is even a view of the bridge at the entrance. Quiet vacation spot away from the traffic of Florida. We shopped for groceries on our way in as instructed and were able to pick up the extras a short distance over the bridge at Dollar Tree. We rented bikes across the street for a very reasonable price and toured the island. We will be back. "

More than satisfied. Check in was just as the directions instructed with no issues. The unit was very clean, and decorated amazingly. Washer and Dryer was a huge plus. Location was perfect. Boardwalk straight out to the beach. The balcony was huge and had an amazing view. Dauphin Island is very quiet, laid back, and very restful. No issues whatsoever. We would stay here again, and would not hesitate at all to recommend this place to anyone."

"Birthday Beach Staycation
We had a wonderful time at this unit. We live very closeby (20 minutes north!) and we decided to book a few days closeby and enjoy my birthday. It was very nicely decorated, the furniture was very comfortable, and it was large enough for our friends and family to come and enjoy the evenings with us on the balcony as we watched the sunset. I would recommend this unit and look forward to staying again soon!"

"Stay was good
The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. It had a real feel of a vaction apartment with the boat decor.
The pool area was nice, and a good size, the other guests where family orientated and freindly.
We had a couple of maintanance issues (bbq and Garbage disposal) but sorted out almost immdiately.
My only complaint was we checked in late, and where not given the pass code to get in, and struggled with the key pick up.
Overall had a great stay. "

We love DI this was our 3rd year to visit your lovely island. We stayed in 305. The condo was nicely decorated. The I ly issue I had was the pots and pans were dirty we had to wash them before they could be used. The hide a bed could use a new mattress. We will definitely be back."

"Condo 305 - Knapps
We have stayed in four different condos at The Inn. 305 was the best so far. I can think of many things that we liked, but I will mention only those things that I think need your attention.
The grounds need work. The hedges need trimming and the grass need fertilizer and protections against misuse.
The pools require more attention than they are getting presently. I can recall seeing the pool being attended to daily by the previous managers.
Many of the pool chairs are stained and need some Clorox or some other bleach cleaner.
The elevators need to be cleaned daily. I saw sand on the floor cover in one elevator for several days."

We stayed at Beachfront for a week before Memorial Day. The condo was beautiful, clean, and perfect for a family of three. We loved the large balcony, distance to the beach, and the pool. The quality of the materials and furniture in this condo gave it an upscale feel. The personnel were wonderful. "

WE STAYED 4 NIGHTS AT THE INN. THE CONDO WAS CLEAN AND THE VIEW WAS AMAZING. WE WERE BUSY THE WHOLE TRIP WITH BIRD WAS OUR FIRST TRIP TO THE ISLAND. IT WAS SO PEACEFUL THERE. EVERYONE WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL WITH TIPS ON WHERE CERTAIN BIRDS HAD BEEN SPOTTED. FOOD WAS GREAT. THE BAKERY WAS FABULOUS AS WAS THE TACO PLACE. Perfect place for a comfortable and quiet stay on the Island. Everything you need when walking in the door with your clothes and food. Clean, beautifully decorated and neat throughout all the rooms. "Family vacation in rooms 305 & 304
Family vacation with entire family with rooms side by side 305 & 304. 305 was perfect. I would recommend 305, great view and clean. Skinners was our favorite eatery(steam seafood then take back to room). All restaurants were good and friendly. Beach was very secure. We left our tent, chairs, everything on beach all week and felt very safe. The walk to the beach was a little long although right on the beach. As far as leaving the beach to go to Gulf shores, we did not take the ferry because it was 60.00 round trip plus 4.50 a person. Enjoyed Dalphin Island. Perfect for our family of 9"

My husband and I and our two boys loved our condo on Dauphin Island. Clean, quiet, roomy and inviting! Staff and guests very friendly! We most enjoyed our sunset dolphin cruise from the local marina. We hope to go deep sea fishing from there next visit. Visited several local restaurants and enjoyed JT"s Sunset Grill and Barnacle Bills. The Lighthouse Bakery serves the best strawberry cheese danish I've ever eaten! Our boys loved playing in pool and touching stingrays and the hammerhead shark at the island aquarium. Though it was a hot day, we all learned a lot from our visit to Fort Gaines and watching a blacksmith at work. Friends in Mobile added to make this a wonderful vacation! :))"
