This 5 star luxury villa is overlooking the bay of Chania and embraces the sea like no other in the area. It is one of the very few to offer direct access to the sea over a private pathway leading to the rocky coastline.

The villa is located a few hundred meters northwest of the town of Tersanas, with its local beach and waterfront tavern.

If you want to live the laid back Cretan life, you will find several traditional local taverns within a few minutes drive, where you can enjoy the healthy and tasty local Cretan kitchen.

You will of find several cozy sandy beaches in the direct neighbourhood (amongst which Stavros, famously known from the movie “Zorba the Greek”) or you can take a trip to the rocky mountainside to visit the Moni Kirias monastery and the small and intimate creek of Pelagos.

If you are more into nightlife, shopping or visiting ancient cities, take a 20-30 minute drive along the shoreline to the old Venetian harbour city of Chania, where you’ll find everything from day cruises to nightclubs, fashion, shops and world cuisine restaurants. Nevertheless, Chania has managed to remain one of the most preserved and authentic antique cities of Crete and is definitely worth some trips.

If you want to discover two of the most amazing beaches of the Mediterranean, plan a daytrip to Elafonisos and at least a half-day trip to Kissamou.

The villa is only a 15-20 minute drive from Chania Airport (served amongst others by Ryanair) and 2 hours from Heraklion airport.

The villa covers 280 m2 villa on 2 floors and features a 50 m2 mosaique infinity pool with children's area; 30 m2 sunbathing area near the pool with stylish wooden sunbeds; 2 pergola covered outdoor terraces with chill-furniture and extra sunbeds and an outdoor breakfast and dining area.

Villa Kyra sleeps 8 to 10 guests in 4 bedrooms and 2 quality sofa beds in one of the living rooms. In particular it consists of:


1 seafront master bedroom located on pool level with large stone wall and en-suite bathroom
1 seafront master bedroom with en-suite designer's bathtub
1 seafront master bedroom with en-suite shower separated by design glass-bricks
1 master bedroom with sea view and view on the "white mountains" with en-suite wellness shower
1 stand alone bathroom
1 seafront living room with open kitchen and access to the main terrace
1 seafront living room with 2 quality sofa beds and access to the upper floor terrace. This living room has been specially designed to be closed as a proper fifth bedroom to sleep 2 adults.


Located at the pool level, the main living room has direct access to the main terrace and outdoor pergola covered dining area. It offers a designer's dining table and sofas, as well as flat-screen with satellite pay channels, 60 DVDs and Bose sound-system.

The seafront master bedroom offers direct access to the pool area and distinguishes itself by a large stonewall leading to a wellness shower. The double bed has a high quality Dunlopillo mattress (160*210*21 cm).

The second exclusive master bedroom is located seafront on the first floor. It has access to a large terrace and offers a double bed with a high quality Dunlopillo mattress (170*200*21 cm). This space was initially designed for 2 small bedrooms but the plans were changed during construction, resulting in a large master bedroom with a freestanding designer's bathtub assuring a unique bathing experience thanks to an unequalled seaview.

The third seafront master bedroom with ensuite bathroom offers a fantastic sea-view and access to the upper floor terrace. It distinguished itself thanks to the wellness shower split from the room by a glass-brick wall. At night, the illuminated designer's bed-side tables assure a unique look. It comprises 2 beds with high-end Morpheus mattresses (90*200 cm)

The sea-view master bedroom with jet shower offers a unique view at the sea, the wild landscaping and the "white mountains" on the horizon. It's uniqueness however comes from the snail-shaped wellness shower with 6 jets. The double bed has a high quality Morpheus mattress (160*200 cm).

The second living room is located on the first floor and offers amazing sea views thanks to the large bay windows. It features a flat screen TV with Play station 3 and 20 games of any kind, as well as a designer's library with English, French and German books. The room can be completely closed by a massive wooden sliding door, so as to be used as a proper fifth bedroom with 2 quality sofa beds.

Although every bedroom has en-suite bath or shower and a stylish corian sink, a standalone bathroom offers guests an additional bathtub, shower, toilet and corian sink. This bathroom can for example be used if the second living room is used as a bedroom, as it is located directly besides the living room.

Another separate toilet is also located on the pool level.

Outdoors the infinity pool of 50 m2 (10x5 m) is overlooking the bay of Chania and assures an outstanding view from dusk till sunset. It is built according to EOT safety guidelines and the illumination at night assures an impressive sight, whilst enjoying the pleasant calm of the evenings from the terrace. Built halfway down to the sea and accessible by a stairway, the "dream area" with a twin designer sun bed has been especially designed for sea lovers who want to relax close to the sea and enjoy the gentle sound of the waves.

The main terrace, just outside the living room and kitchen, comprises a designer's dining table where you can enjoy a lovely breakfast in the sun as well as a perfect sunset dinner. You can relax, chat or read a good book on the outdoor furniture just beside the dining area or on the second terrace located at the first floor. Sunbeds are available on the area near the pool, the upper floor terrace and the "dream area" near the sea.

This luxurious villa is unique in many ways. It distinguishes itself from the other villas in the region by a resolutely modern architecture designed to embrace the sea. All the rooms enjoy sea view and all but one are seafront with bay windows. The interior design is sobre, modern and of superior quality, from the designer's furniture to the Italian fittings.
