"Review of 217, building 1. Padre beach escapes
Very pleasant stay, with a few glitches. When arrived our balcony was pretty much covered with pigeon poop. Management was quick to respond but didn’t have the right equipment to clean it well. Came back the next day to scrub but still was not all removed . I used a bucket and sponge to clean it up even better needs a good power wash. They did resolve the pigeon problem with putting up some spikes. Thank you for that. Needs just some TLC to really make it a better experience, the sofa needs to be replaced and the dishwasher needs an upgrade. Beach club manager was generally unavailable. The pool, hot tub and fitness center were nice and close to our unit."

"Padre Pearl a tree the Beach Club
We have stayed in 4 different units at the Beach Club. We love the location and ease of getting in and out. This unit on the second floor looked over the main entrance and I worried about noise from that, there was none. We make the same comment after the first night every time, the complex is very bright at night, which keeps the units lit up. Blackout shades would be nice. We did not cook this trip, like we usually do, so cant comment on the kitchen. The king bed was comfy, but a four poster bed frame is a bit much for the small room. The balcony is unsafe as the handrail is loose from the wall, would not let my daughter go out there. Overall the stay was fine, we don't require much, just a clean space and decent bed, which we got. Unfortunately, we had several coolers stolen from our vehicle overnight, so the parking areas are not safe."

"Ocean Beach Club
For a relaxed, quiet, get away from it all vacation this is the right place. The unit was clean and spacious for 2 people. There was an issue with pool access, a fault of the owner, (Property Management) eventually corrected it. Overall we enjoyed our stay. "

"Mostly Satisfying
The condo is nice and in an excellent location for the beaches and fishing. It is exactly as shown in the photos and maintenance responded immediately to fix a minor issue with the toilet when I called. Excellent check in and check out via (Property Management). Seems to be a very safe area. My complaints would be that the floor did not seem to have been well cleaned on my arrival, the vacuum cleaner did not work (I was there more than 30 days), and there was some cockroach activity. While I don't think the condo was infested, I found dead roaches on arrival and battled with a few live ones. I kept all food in the fridge, emptied trash regularly, and used some pest spray that kept them mostly under control. Still, while I recognize this is Texas, roaches makes you feel a bit uncomfortable and I did not remove clothing from suitcases and kept them secure. My wife and I owned condos in Waikiki that were vacation rentals and I fully understand that pests can move from condo to condo in a building. That is likely the case here. Overall, I really enjoyed the unit and the great location. We are probably going to relocate from Hawaii to Corpus Christi. Island fever is real...ha!"

"Awesome Trip!
It was amazing - everything was clean and in place. Plenty of kitchenware, which I was a bit unsure about until we got there. Hot water. Nice balcony. They had toys in the balcony closet for the beach.
My only issue was the 2-3 bugs we found in the condo. It wasn’t the end of the world, but it wasn’t pleasant either.
Overall - 4.7/5"

"Cozy
Great short stay, condo was clean & close to the beach. Master bed was very comfortable but I will say unless its just the kids on the pullout sofa, it isn't very comfortable. We would definitely stay again, great value for the cost."

"Padre Island stay
Overall the townhouse was in good condition. The shower/bath combination was dated and the shower head needed some maintenance. The curtains could be changed out with blackout shades as there is a lot of light that comes through from the parking lots and outdoor lights from other units. The kitchen is well appointed, the bathroom towels could be increased, one set per person, one hand towel is not enough. "

"Perfect Getaway!
My family really enjoyed the time we spent at Padre Pearl. We loved the area and how close to the beach we were. It was about a 5 minute walk to the beach from our condo. The pool and hot tub were nice amenities. The property was well kept and very inviting. The bed was very comfortable and we slept like big babies :)

"November stay at Padre Pearl
Good location close to beach; nicely maintained unit; just right for a couple, but would have been crowded with a guest. Oven gave off some kind of vapor -- probably from a cleaning agent -- that set off the smoke detector, so we turned it off and used the microwave. The interior stairs and hallways were not well maintained with many goat heads embedded in the carpet, but the apartment and balcony were very clean. (Property Management) was very helpful with the check-in and check-out process and we will certainly book our return trip through them. "

"Great stay
This adorable pad helped make our time here more enjoyable. It was clean, comfortable and had everything you need. We had one tiny hiccup there were no sheets for the sofa bed, but that was quickly rectified. The pool area was relaxing, and my husband loved being able to grill by the pool with us. Did I mention that the beach was within walking distance? We will definitely being staying here again. "

"Goood vaca
The rental we had was about an 8/10 cleanliness. The floors could have been cleaned a little more but overall the place was clean. I would stay there again with my family. Air condition was great when it was very hott. I would rather an 8/10 clean floors with a strong cold air conditioner any day. Very close to white cap beach, which is always great. I have used this rental company 3 times already. The ladies in the office are very professional and nice. We had a small hiccup with are last property and they made it right be discounting this property. The rental staff is 10/10. Thank you (Property Management)! "

"Nice place for weekend stay
Overall the place was nice and had a beachy feel. It would have been nice to have a ceiling fan in living room and cable box in bedroom. It was in good condition when we arrived however the baseboards could use a good cleaning. Our parking spot was a bit far from our unit as well but not not a huge problem. The sofa bed is okay for a night or two but is not very comfortable for a teenager or adult. "

"Nice beach community
Our rental unit was in a safe family community near the beach. The condo was nicely decorated and well stocked. Overall the condo in and out needed a thorough cleaning especially for the amount we paid for a summer rental. Saw 2 cockroaches in the bathroom. Never saw anyone clean the pool during our entire stay. "

"Hot time on Padre
The property description was accurate. The view is of the driveway into the complex, but we weren't here for the view. It is a block from the beach, which you can drive on. My only complaint is the reserved parking spot is a long ways from the unit. Not good when you are unloading and loading.

The very warm ocean was nice, but the heat index was very high (in the 100s). I ended up with heat exhaustion. I don't recommend coming in summer. The beaches were very crowded on weekends. It was fun to drive on the beach and park next to were you want to set up on the beach.

There are limited amenities (restaurants, grocery stores, general stores, etc) nearby, but a short drive back to the mainland there are many available."
