"Love being right on the gulf!
(Property Management) is wonderful to work with and the staff is always friendly and helpful. We LOVE being right on the beach. It's why we continue to book here. We like this area better than Port A. This particular unit (220) was not as nice or well-maintained as the units we've stayed in previously. I shared my feedback with the PE team, and they responded right away saying they would look into the things I shared about the unit (stove, refrigerator, TV difficulties). We loved having a washer and dryer in the unit and not all units have them. The property itself is always well-maintained. We will definitely use (Property Management) again and we will book El Constante again for sure!"

"good experience
enjoyed the property, was a bit confused as I made reservations thru airbnb and padre escape is a different company.The condo did need a few minor repairs, ie:caulking around the bathtubs, needs new pans for frying, appears teflon scratching off of the pans. Overall was a good week"

"Comfortable & Spacious
We recently stayed in the condo for 2 nights, we brought our 2 pups and also had my parents join us. The space was perfect for 4 people and fur babies. Kitchen is a little small and did not come with soap for dishes or paper towels.
First floor balcony door was missing wheels, hard to open. Didn't cause us any issues, A/C kept room down to temp. Really enjoyed the balcony on each floor.
Overall we were extremely pleased by the amenities, the pool and hot tub were great and the stores near by are extremely resourceful.
Overall very happy with our stay and price we paid���� "

"Great Location
We enjoyed our stay in #220 at El Constante. The condo was clean and comfortable! You can't beat the El Constante location. We really enjoy being so close to the beach and being able to bring our dogs.
We are frequent guests through (Property Management) and they are a great group to work with."

"Perfect location!
This property is perfectly located right on the seawall and has views of the gulf from 2 out of 4 of the balconies! The management staff is super friendly and efficient. The wi-fi was great, we loved that it was pet-friendly, and the kitchen well-stocked, even if a little dated. The dishwasher works, but it's a bit tricky to get the door closed. It was great to have a full sized washer and dryer in the unit, but they are loud (so were the neighbor's appliances, so just be aware when running them). There was plenty of parking, gas grills, beautiful pool, and hot tub. Excellent communication from on-site office staff and we loved the clean linen exchange option. The dining room chairs allow you to feel the wooden supports beneath the seat (no cushion!) and the two faux leather recliners flaked when we walked past them. We did not use them at all. One shower had nearly zero water pressure and the bathroom fans were super loud. The staff and location are what make this property one we would return to, but we would look for a more updated unit for a long-term stay. If the flooring and furniture (specifically the seating options) on the first floor were replaced, it would make this unit look less "tired". Overall, we loved our stay at this property!"

"Great location but that's all
I selected this unit due to the location. Beautiful view and right on the beach. I was overall disappointed in the unit. It was not as clean as I would like. (urine running down the front of one toilet, hair on the floor in the other bathroom). There was no water pressure at all in one bathroom. The unit felt old and used. The air conditioner was so loud you had to turn the TV up every time it kicked on. The washer and dryer sounded like a jet taking off and literally shook the floors. The dishwasher was tilted and had to be pushed to one side to close the door. The kitchen wall appeared to be leaning forward resulting in the microwave having to be held in place with a bored screwed
in the wall keeping the door from opening all the way. Mismatched paint on the ceiling, holes in the walls filled but not painted, and outdated furniture just made this unit feel tired. Served it's purpose, but next time I will select a newer building. The rental company did offer to come in and make things right but we declined, cleaned it up, and made the best out of our week. We were there to enjoy the beach anyway."

"El constants 220
Beautiful property, only couple of issues with the bathrooms upstairs. The upstairs hall bath shower hardly had no water pressure and no hot water. The other bathroom shower had good water pressure but we did not have cold water pouring out..The more we increase
the handle to the cold indicator the hotter the water got. Also the bathroom Fan was extremely loud. I hope maintenance could take of these issues this was a great place to stay."

We had a wonderful experience! Kazia, at the front desk, was very knowledgeable, helpful and kind every time we spoke to her. My only concern from a previous stay appears to be resolved with there now being interior bolt locks in the room, which keep smart dogs and young children from being able to exit the room by pulling down on the lever handle."

"Winter Getaway
The process of reviewing and selecting a place was pretty easy. There were a lot of pictures and were true to reality. I was impressed with how everything in the kitchen was labeled. Only when I called ahead to ask a couple questions one thing I asked about was “Did the unit have a crockpot?” and the answer was no so we brought our own. Turns out there was one so we shouldn’t have bothered.
The condo was right on the beach and we had a wonderful view of the Gulf from two of the three balconies. It was open and spacious. And the deliciously heated pool was beautiful!
The only thing we weren’t happy with was the pet fees. Not only did we have to pay $300 for the pet fee, but we also had to pay an additional $100 for the “pet cleaning fee”! This was over and above our cleaning fee.
But it was a great place and a wonderful location and we would try to book it again the next time we want to come to North Padre Island."

"Senior Trip for Son
I was planning to leave a good review, but they refuse to refund money on our dog we didn’t end up bringing. My husband had a stroke and couldn’t make it, so I decided to leave 1 of our dogs at home. I told them and they sent me a new contract to sign while I was on the road. I filled it out w/ only 1 dog and they sent another 1 to sign. It was very difficult because I drove all the way. Somehow the 2 dogs ended up on the 1 they claim to have received so refuse to refund for the other dog I didn’t bring. Very dishonest management. I don’t recommend staying here because if them."

Great view of the beach and the condo was set up with everything we needed except the extra towels but those were easily obtained in the office. The washer & dryer was a plus. We stayed an extra day as we didn't want to leave. The bath tubs don't have stoppers so bring your own if you want a bath. Great location by your vehicle, pool and beach."

"Nice Stay
Enjoyed staying here in a clean unit. We really enjoyed the Keurig coffee maker. The washer and dryer were a special addition. We also enjoyed the gas grills and even helped another fellow vacation goer use it. The pool was good too, although a bit cool but still ok. Enjoyed Island restaurants and everything was so good. Sorry to see JB’s German Bakery/cafe moved inland and we were unable to get to the new location. "

"Expensive But Nice Accommodations
We have been staying at the El Constante since the 90s. The property is ideally located right on the beach. The pool is phenomenal and great for kids, but does get crowded. We stayed in unit 220 this year. The only complaint is that the dryer was broken and we were not offered free use of the dryer in the onsite facility. It was a bit of a bummer to pay $3k plus and not even be offered some sort of help with dryer situation. "

It was a very nice stay. As we come in we notice right away the big kitchen counter top . We like that because with 2 kids we spend a lot of time in the kitchen . The rest of the house was modern , clean with very nice and relaxing decor . We will definitely come back !!!"

"Great Experience!
Overall it was a very positive experience. We arrived very late due to travel issues. The place was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The pool was nice. The location was great. We lost power on Saturday for a short while due to high winds but nothing serious. We didn't do much in terms of cooking but plenty of places to dine. Our first trip to Corpus Christi was a nice one.
Checkout was easy."

The only suggestion I would have, to put a king size bed in the master bedroom. Currently it has a queen size bed.

"Family getaway
Nice spacious clean very well equipped. Management team responded quickly to a kitchen sink disposal leak situation. Also They tried to solve problem of the broken sofabed by bringing an inflatable mattress. Other than those it’s a really nice unit with balconies from every room offering uncluttered view of the ocean. We had such a great time comfortably accommodated a family of six . Will stay there again. "

"Birthday trip to the beach
We enjoyed our stay at the El Constante. We have been going here for years. It is harder to get your group bookings and the room arrangements you would like now that we have to go through the management company. I miss the days of calling and speaking to someone right there in the office.
The place is looking great with the new paint, but I noticed a few things on the inside that needed a little attention.
With that said we still love the El Constante property and will surly be back. "

"The room worked
The room worked. The room has one ac unit and upstairs is several degrees warmer. It was not hot upstairs but it was not cool either. There was not much water pressure in the kitchen or upstairs. The guest bathroom, the one I used, had bathtub faucets that are decaying and pretty much zero hot water pressure. The room was close to the beach and pool which was nice. The quilt in the guest room was dirty too. So gross. The couch and chairs downstairs were old and could’ve used a cleaning. Nothing too terrible but when you’re a guest it is nice to have clean furniture. "

"Very Happy
3 adults and 3 kids stayed here for 3 nights last week and we were very happy. The only negatives (about this specific unit) was no curtain on one of the bedroom windows so the morning sun gets you up early and also, the wooden steps leading up to the unit need some upkeep. That being said, we would stay here again absolutely!!!"

Spring break trip with my wife and our three children. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at El Constante. Close to the beach, not crowded, nice pool and hot tub. The property was falling a bit behind on the old deferred maintenance list, but was doing work to get caught up. Old decks, falling soffets, etc. Pool was also a little dirty, but a lot of this may have been from the work going on. "
