"Great Getaway
Perfect location for our getaway. Condo had everything needed for an extended stay, including washer and dryer. Bed was awful as I had read in previous reviews BUT new mattress was delivered for our last night =)! Management company was readily available for any questions. "

"Ocean Waves
Great location! Rooms had cute decor. Great view from the balcony to watch and listen to the waves. The bed was comfortable however it was hard to get a good night sleep because it squeaked whenever you moved. I couldn't sleep on it after the first night so I slept on the couch the next 3 nights. The kitchen needs better frying pans they are pretty worn. Would have been nice if the kitchen had some small bowls for cereal, yogurt, ice cream etc. Overall it is nice, close to the beach and restaurants."

"Great Escape!
The location is incredible! Just a two minute drive to the beach and the balcony faces the ocean, perfect for relaxing. The unit was clean, and well prepared. The tub/shower could use a little updating, but is not a big deal at all. The communications were timely and friendly every time I had a question prior to arrival and the check-in and check-out was smooth. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends as well!"

"Not for us
The condo had a great view, was cozy, and fully stocked kitchen. The couch was comfy, and the location was excellent — close to the beach, walkable or great with a golf cart. But the bed frame squeaked miserably, making it hard to sleep. Water pressure was poor, and we found long hairs left on the shower wall, which raised cleanliness concerns. Parking is very tight — not ideal for TX trucks — and there are three flights of stairs, so be prepared for a climb. The balcony chairs were not made for sitting in and too low for the view. Overall, it’s a nice place if the cons aren’t deal breakers. For us, they were. We won’t stay here again, mainly due to the uncomfortable bed and parking setup.
This unit is managed by Padre Express, a business-style host. While they were responsive and clear about what was and wasn’t included, the experience felt impersonal. One towel and one washcloth per guest for a 3-night stay isn’t enough. No spices, oils, or coffee were provided — they claimed it was due to TX law, but we’ve never experienced that elsewhere. Only one detergent pack and two dishwasher pods were supplied for four days. No beach towels were provided. Spare towels/blankets were shrink-wrapped or labeled, making it unclear if extra use was allowed. If we had known Padre Express was the host, we would’ve picked another condo on the premises. We love North Padre and will be back, but not to this unit.

"Great stay near Whitecap Beach
The unit was very clean and comfortable. My messages were responded to quickly. Walking distance to Whitecap Beach, you can actually see the ocean (at a distance) from the balcony. Highly recommend. "

"Just ok, did not like the bed
Room was clean but we did not like the bed situation. Did not sleep well due to the noisiness of the bed. One small move and it would squeak. Seemed to be a very old mattress with a foam topper. Additionally, the property had a pool which is great however, we didn't really use it because it looked murky. We have stayed at other properties in the area that are very similar in amenities, size and price and would more than likely stay elsewhere "

"Great view and King Bed
We enjoyed this lovely Condo for 3 years. We booked it for the months of January and February. You could sit on the deck and see the Gulf waters and get sun on the deck until 3:00 in the afternoon. The beach was within 2 blocks and on this beach in Texas you can drive on the beach, so no need to carry your beach supplies. The unit was nice and the bed and sleeper couch both comfortable. Padre Escape’s is the place to rent from. Lower prices and they cater to all your needs . We had a wonderful experience with this rental. "

"Nice Esacpe
The place was very well organized and comfortable. Great view from the third floor. Pool was a bit crowded, but it was also summer. Just a short drive to mustang island state park, which is much quieter than other parts of the beach."

"Beautiful view
This is my 3rd time renting a condo at this location. This was the first time in the Sandy Dunes unit. This unit is on the 3rd floor with amazing views. My condo was very clean. The ease of renting with (Property Management) was great. The unit has a washer and dryer which I absolutely love so when I get home all I have to do is unpack my laundry was already done. The condos location is ultimately the best; walking distance to the beach, restaurants and convenient store. This was the first time using the hot tub and it was fantastic since the weather was a little cooler. This is my only destination when coming to Corpus Christi/ Padre Island. "

"Sandy Dunes CBC311K is the perfect getaway!
Sandy Dunes CBC311K was a wonderful getaway. I could see coming back to this condo anytime of year. The location to the beach is great. Just a short walk. The beach can also be seen from the balcony where we spent every evening. The condo is decorated nicely and was very clean. Being there for the fourth of July week was nice. It was quiet inside the condo. Never heard neighbors. Everything in the condo worked well. The AC kept us cool. Their was nothing I was unhappy about at all. The description of the property is just as it says. I would definitely stay there again."

"Close to beach
Nice time in unit 311. It is on the third floor and there is no elevator so be aware of that. From the deck you can see waves off in the distance. Padre vacations was generous to us."

"ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL
One of the best rentals we have had in our trips to the coast ! Everything was there we needed, except for a few groceries. We were there during SandFest and this location is just close enough to get there in a short time, but far away enough to not get in the hustle, bustle ! Very relaxing ! We WILL be back again !!!"

"Great stay!!!
We loved this location and the condo was so nice and cozy!! It was such a great experience we can’t wait to plan another trip and stay at the same place. The view of the beach was perfect. The pond next to us was great we caught quite a few fish and of course released them. The pool also was in close distance from our room. We had such a great stay we are still talking about it a month later and very affordable too!! I called to the front desk twice for some questions and they were so nice and very helpful. "

"Beautiful View
The condo was everything that was described. We had a great time enjoying the beach and the view.The bed does need to be replaced, however, because it's very saggy. And note for others: the balcony only has shade in the late afternoon, fyi."

"Beautiful condo stay
Condo was very cozy and relaxing. Beautiful view from the balcony. Short distance from the beach. Our family enjoyed the stay. The host team was awesome and quick to respond to any questions. The only thing I could complain about is the bathroom exhaust fan or extractor seemed to turn on on its own during the middle of the night and very noisy in spite of closing the door. Other than that it was a great experience."

"Would Definitely Stay Again
The place was cute, clean, and close to the beach. We loved the king sized mattress which you don't find often in rentals! The only negative was the mattress itself was so noisy we found it hard to sleep. If one of us turned over or got up to use the bathroom, the other woke up!
We loved the view! We also liked that we couldn't hear our neighbors inside the unit!
There are a LOT of stairs and they're not for the weak! Carrying luggage and groceries up wasn't the easiest but it was doable.
We would definitely stay again!"

The property was clean and in fair condition, had some issues with the AC on it's last legs and very loud, could not be fixed while we were there along with no down spout on the outside deck, very loud throughout the night with heavy rain. There were some other minor malfunctions in the unit but not bad the views were great and the furnishing were beautiful. Enjoyed the pool, better beach location a few miles down the road. Was not impressed with the management team. "

Wonderful location...good view of beach...pool and hot tub terrific...had to prewash pillow cases...bedroom windows wouldn't shut and made wind noise...hot water temp turned down...very steep stairs so be aware if you are older...great walks on beach...Whitecap beach very clean...local food was excellent...bed comfortable..."

"Enjoyed our stay
This was a great condo. Stayed for 2 months while working. Very clean when we arrived. Kitchen was fully stocked to cook. Bed in pull out couch was pretty comfortable for a couch bed. Air conditioning worked great, if a bit loud. Loved the balcony, nice breezes through the palm trees and blackbirds chirping while I worked all day. Wifi was good and fast. Full set of cable TV was nice too. Heated pool and hot tub were great and exercise room was quite nice too. Padres Escapes were really good, we needed to have a bunch of packages delivered and since we technically didn't have access to the mailbox we had them sent to Padres Escapes and they were always friendly and willing to accept.
My only complaint is frankly, I didn't like Padre Island! I disliked the free for all driving on the beach and it was crazy on weekends on the beach. There's basically nowhere to go if you just want to walk out without your vehicle (the one area was usually under water). It's also crazy windy on the island.8th windiest place in the country apparently. These 2 things kinda ruined it for me. But I might be alone on this, everyone seems to love it here.
I was pretty worried the condo would be loud but I was pleasantly surprised. During the week it was very quiet and on weekends when people came streaming in it was still pretty quiet. Never had any major noise issues. "

"Tropical Winter Getaway
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Beach Club and we love the location. Since it is literally just steps away from Whitecap Beach the location couldn't be better. The amenities of the resort were good, though the hot tub was popular, which made getting in a challenge.
This particular condo was in good condition and comfortable, after climbing the 34 steps. It was a challenge to move in, but the 3rd floor view was worth it The kitchen was equipped better than I expected. It even had several decent nonstick skillets. It could use a few smaller dinner bowls. There were many varied types of glasses and coffee cups.
It would have been nice to have more than 1 hand towel in the bathroom and possibly an extra set of bath towels. The bathroom was well lit, but too bright in the middle of the night. We purchased a cheap night light to solve that problem.
The parking spot with this condo was close to the door, which was nice.
(Property Management) management was very helpful during our stay, though we really didn't have any issues during our stay.
If God allows us to return to Padre Island we will definitely consider staying here again."

Unit was as expected--clean, quiet, and enough space for two adults. It's on the top floor (no elevator) so the view of the beach was really great.
The only drawback was that the kitchen was not as well equipped as some other rentals.
Check in/out process was very convenient."

"Fantastic Getaway
Sandy Dunes was exactly as described in the listing. Great view of Whitecap Beach from the balcony, comfortable bed, plenty of space for my husband and I to enjoy a 4-day getaway. We loved the location of the condo, and how the entire process was contactless with the condo staff. Communication from the property managers for check in and check out was very easy and frustration free. We would definitely stay at this condo again. "

"Excellent Unit
(Property Management) are a very professional organization. Their online booking, check in and check out are easy to use.
Each time we had something that we needed done, such as changing the light bulb in the kitchen ceiling or fixing the closet shelf, they promptly sent someone over.
The unit itself is nicely decorated and has all you need, especially since the owner kindly provided us with additional items for the kitchen when we asked for them.
We have reserved again for next year.

"Absolutely Amazing
We always wonder if the picture does any justice for the place itself. This was over and beyond. Beautiful and the picture of view does no justice. It was amazing. The sunrise in the morning is spot on. You can clearly see the beach. The condo was clean and comfy. Everything works and bed was comfy. The bed is always the first thing to notice because this is where we rest our heads. I can't think of anything you would have to bring. The condo was supplied with everything you could possibly need. I do recommend this placed and will stay again. "

"Great location and great apartment
The apartment is beautifully decorated, it has a lovely balcony where you can see the ocean at a distance. The beach is walkable distance and several National Parks (and wonderful beaches) are within short driving distance (as well as nice restaurants and a great coffee shop). There is not real grocery store in North padre -only CVS and Stripes stores, I would recommend to either bring groceries and cleaning supplies (dishwasher and laundry detergent, trashcan bags etc.) with you or buy them in Corpus C (they will provide you with some supplies for the first days). The Management company was prompt at replying a question I had. "

" Very nice updated condo, close to the beach
Emily at (Property Management) helped us find this great condo for a last minute trip to north Padre Island. The property description was accurate and the unit was clean and well maintained. The A/C blower motor was rather loud at night, but Emily was going to check this out after we left. We appreciated the professional customer service and would definitely rent again."
