"Good location, with some quirks.
Proximity to the beach and pools, this place is a 10/10. The kitchen was fully stocked with every plate, utensil, and item you might need [you have to bring all your own seasonings, food, etc]. Towels were provided, and the washer and dryer are AMAZING.
The beds, however, were a challenge. Firm is an understatement and both my husband and I struggled to sleep - I would highly recommend the host invest in a mattress topper of some kind because that was enough for me not to book again, my back is still hurting [and I'm only 36]. There was also a lingering odor that we could only describe as "gerbil cage" - we had to go purchase candles to mask the scent. It was beyond normal ocean side musk, and not present in the two other condos we visited at the same property where family was staying. Nothing a little candle or air freshener couldn't fix, though.
It was very clean, the bedding was white and pristine, and our children LOVED the bunk beds built into the wall. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and I hope the host sees my above comments and acts on them because those fixes would really make this listing a top tier experience. "

"Village by the Beach P903K
The property itself was very nice, rooms were large, but the beds were NOT comfortable. The water pressure is AWFUL. The front door is very hard to shut, and the back door is hard to lock. There are no directions telling you how to get onto cable to watch something at night. Also, it is a little misleading saying a short stroll to the beach, more like a 30-minute walk or more.
I don't believe I would stay at this particular location again. "

"Village by the Beach Stay for Winter Texans
The condo was very nice and very clean. We stayed just short of 3 months so it was home to us during our stay.
Overall, the location was great, as we could walk to the beach area or drive without fighting traffic.
The beds were comfortable and there was adequate storage for clothing. If I were to make suggestions on future upgrades, the living room cushions on the sofas and chairs sagged when you sat on them. Since we are an older couple, it was a challenge at time. The dining room table was huge and took up a lot of space! A few of those chairs need replaced as well. The microwave is in need of replacement, as well as the water filter on the refrigerator which was not working.
Now, despite all the above mentioned items, overall, this condo was one of the best we have seen and we would recommend it to others. Comfortable beds and so much room for everyone to sleep. It was nice to see new cabinetry in bathrooms and kitchen. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could imagine needing.
The best of all? 3 bathrooms! It was a wonderful stay; close to all restaurants, beach, seawall, and church.

"Wonderful Vacation Rental

Great place, super clean, large washing machine. Kitchen is kind of small, but worked out just fine. There are two pools at this rental, and this particular unit is next to the kid pool splash pad area. "

"Great affordable option
My family and I really enjoyed this townhouse. It was in a perfect location, we loved the pool and felt the house was very clean. Only complaint was the beds were harder than our personal preference and the queen bed seems to be on its last leg. (Very unsteady and was very loud with the littlest of movement. Beyond that we loved our stay and would love to come again. "

"Great location, the unit needs a little TLC
Our family stayed in this vacation rental during our move transition out of town. The location is fabulous, a short walk to the beach. The amenities available at the complex are well maintained and enjoyable. This unit specifically has a great layout and all the space needed for a family. Shower curtains need to be replaced, the living room furniture is definitely on its way out, the refrigerator drawers do not fit, and the kitchen faucet needs to be installed properly. The beds were all very clean, and the unit was tidy when we arrived. "

"Nice and quiet with odd rules
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The condo was nice and clean. However, there are some odd rules about this place and some other minor inconveniences that would have made a longer stay more challenging. Pool did not seem heated, when it should have been. There is a no music or loud noises sign, but not clear on smoking outside. Some outlets and lights in the condo worked, some didnt."

Perfect location and very well kept property. It is comfy and decoration is on point. The property is about two blocks from the beach. You can walk but is is better to drive if you are carrying a lot stuff. The property comes with two parking spots and visitor parking is available "

"We had a wonderful time
This was our first beach condo/townhouse rental and we loved it. We brought the kids up here for a little getaway during the week while sticking with remote learning (COVID perk?) Our visit was the 2nd week of Sept so the pool and beach weren’t crowded. The beach is literally a 2 minute drive. The condo itself was very nice, my only complaint is that some places were dusty like the top of the fridge and wall/cabinet decor. When we arrived there we found a broken fridge drawer and a broken chest drawer. I was afraid they’d blame us for that, but we took a pictures and sent them an email. Never heard back from them but no news is good news right? The kids loved it and begged us to stay another day. Unfortunately we couldn’t since it was already booked, but we’ll be back next year!"

"Awesome
We had such an amazing time! The condo is absolutely beautiful. It is located directly in front of the pool area which is so convenient! We will definitely stay here again in the future!
The only observation I made that gave me pause has to do with the fact that we are in the middle of a pandemic. Although the correspondence I received when booking said that the space would be complete sanitized and disinfected, that was not true. I’m sure that the property managers probably hire a cleaning service and believes that they are doing the job they are paid to do so this is not a criticism of the property managers. There was food crumbs on the table and under the table when we arrived. Although, the overall appearance of the condo was so pleasing and absolutely beautiful it was apparent that the space had not actually been mopped or “sanitized”. That’s ok though! I did it myself in 15 minutes and our stay was still absolutely amazing and we are thankful to the owners for sharing this beautiful space with us! "

"Fun in the Sun
Our vacation rental experience was awesome. The rental was adorable with everything we needed to make our vacation pleasurable. The unit's front door was right outside the children's pool area and was just a few blocks from the beach. The island lost power a couple of times for a few minutes and tipped the kitchen/front bathroom breaker. We called for maintenance since the breaker was outside in a locked box. Maintenance arrived quickly and restored our power. Will definitely stay here again. I've already referred the property to friends who plan to visit."

You guys are great to work with! Always prompt and courteous in response but it means a lot to me to call in and not have to do a bunch of unnecessary verification. When you call these people they don't have to transfer you and act as though they don't know who you are...they solve issues, they are local and know their stuff. I simply call when I know I'm coming down and list the things wed like when we show up. Location, size we need and things like heated pool. Awesome!!! Thanks (Property Management)! Pleasure doing business with you again."

"Amazing place
I stayed there with my family for 3 nights. The house is spectacular! Very well decorated, full of charm. Everything was very clean. I would definitely stay there again and I would also recommend it! You won’t be disappointed! The pool os nice and the kids little water play is very good too. "

"Close to Beach, Great Accommodations, Across from kiddie pool
Loved that each bedroom had it's own private bathroom as well as a full bathroom downstairs. Downside was there was no cabinet space to place the food items we purchased & we had to set them out on the bar counter. Some of the provided cookware was unusable as it had a lot of baked on grime. Was concerned that right outside the back door was the pool but turned out to be okay as there was very little actiivity in the evening and not the noise we feared we would hear. All in all this was a clean, well laid out condo."

"Great Place for the Family!
This was a great place to vacation with our family. We had kids from 11 months to 8 years old and it was accommodating to them all. Being able to walk out of our backdoor to the kids pool was so great! The condo was comfortable and very clean; so much better than staying in a hotel and about the same cost. Will be coming back next year for sure. "

"Nice place but noisy neighbors.
Spent the memorial day weekend here. Very nicely appointed condo, not too far from the beach, but not close either. Small swimming pool, gets very crowded, but it's ideal for toddlers. The condo next to us, was choke full of people, and they were very noisy. Overall, a good place to stay."

"Clean, well designed, BUT broken dresser and towel racks
The unit was clean, well- design, easy to access, well-stocked, in a great location and perfect for a family with young children given the pool and play area. The one major annoyance was that the dresser in the second bedroom was completely falling apart and every towel rack in every bathroom could not hold a wet towel. Also the emailed instructions on how to access the unit were incorrect and you only discovered this when texted the access code the first day of rental. "
