"Spacious Beachside Retreat with Stunning Pool and Gulf Views
Everything was great and it is super clean upstairs .. I believe that downstairs is super clean. It’s just that the furniture’s outdated so it makes it seem like it’s not clean, but it is super clean. Kitchen was clean. The only problem we had was the stairs. It’s on the second floor but when you get inside, the bedrooms are on the third floor so it’s a lot of stairs .. and the only thing we did not like was that there was no washer and dryer in the unit .. if you wanted to use washer and dryer, you have to go to the Washateria .. which would’ve been fine, but they’re super old and rusted .. just makes it look really dirty. You don’t wanna wash your clothes in there. But other than that perfect location super clean but definitely next time I would stay on the first floor and with a unit that has a washer and dryer available .."

"Summer trip
As always we loved our stay at El Constante, the complex is kept up impeccably and the staff are always so polite and helpful. We love the location that is just steps from the beach. My only complaint with this particular unit, is the coffee table, made of granite and easily falls over with the slightest anoint of weight, get rid of it it’s dangerous."

"great beach family vacation
We loved the condo! The owners were so wonderful to have a chest full of books, puzzles and toys for the kids. The large fire truck puzzle was a big hit. The chest also worked well to block the stair case to prevent the toddler from climbing stairs! Located so close to the beach, easy to walk back and have nap time for the kids each afternoon. "

"Birthday weekend
My husband and I brought my parents to the beach with us to enjoy and early birthday celebration for me. We had such a great time. The location was perfect. The condo was clean and beautiful. We especially lived the balconies. The only issue was no elevator so loading and unloading was a challenge in the heat. Still a 5 star experience for us."

Positive...location...proximity to beach, best choice. Negative...the property does not enforce only guests allowed in pool area or parking area. The pool busy therefore extra maintenance required. The water in pool was not clear. Room... wonderful, comfy beds, beautiful furniture but would suggest leather and remove the large coffee table. Excellent supplies in kitchen. "

"Good Location
Good location and amenities like the pool. Spacious enough for two families with kids. It was thoughtful to include a floor mattress and toys for kids and other things useful for the beach. But some things that were to be included as per the listing were not, for example handwash. We brought everything else like shampoo and beach towels but being expected to supply our own hand wash for 2.5 bathrooms and the kitchen was kind of ridiculous. We were only provided 4 towels for 6 guests on the whole. No extra comforters or blankets. The extra pillows provided had covers on them that had pieces of hair/dust. Some of the utensils and plates that were in the drawers were crusty (with dishwasher pod residue??) and we had to wash everything that we wanted to use again. Some of the light bulbs were burnt out in the dining area. The non stick pots and pans had peeling bottoms and need to be replaced."

Our rental on North Corpus Christi beach was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located close to the beach and near stores and restaurants! The staff was super friendly and their pre-check in made everything super easy! It takes quite a bit for the upstairs to get cool, but other than that, we loved it. "

"Great family vacation
Our trip to Whitecap beach was amazing. Amber with (Property Management) made it all happen effortlessly. We loved all 4 condos we rented and the beach access at El Constante was amazing. The heat was bearable with the air conditioners and the pool. We spent a lot of time in the Ocean and the pool. Access to Corpus Christie was easy and we would go again to the same place. "

"Fun beach vacation
We had a great time. Very nice staff, close to the beach, comfortable. Just a few things could be improved: the stove had one burner that doesn't work at all, the others were not very adjustable. The pool was advertised as salt water, but it's ordinary chlorine. We had a blast anyway! I loved the dance party in the pool that another group organized."

"Honesty time.....
We had a great time... staff was extremely friendly and helpful.... would I stay again.... no. The room we had is in need of some serious updates. The bathrooms were especially bad. The faucets and bathtub were so old and disgusting. Taking a bath was out, I was not sitting in the tub. So we all opted for showers instead. None of the remotes worked to any of the TVs. The dining table was glass and so scratched up. The closets need to be repainted because the paint was so scuffed up and dirty looking. There was a wad of gum stuck to the back of one of the curtains leading to the balcony. Overall- not impressed at all. "

"Great location
The location of the condo is excellent. I loved being able to sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise. It is super convenient to have a short walk to the beach. The staff at El Constante were very friendly.
The condo was not as clean as it could have been. The sliding glass balcony door and the front door to the condo still had fingerprints from little ones who were there before us. I found pieces of food in various places on the floor and in the corners. There was a cigarette butt in the corner of the outside balcony. There were visible clumps of hair caught in the drain of the mater bathroom sink and shower, which was gross to look at and caused draining issues.
These cleaning issues were especially concerning since we are in the middle of a pandemic and cleaning efforts should be increased, not decreased.
I sent an email to (Property Management) outlining the cleaning issues on July 7th. Although I did get an automated reply stating there is a delay in response due to the pandemic, it has been over 2 weeks and I have not gotten any response.
If you can be OK With the place not being spotless and overlooking some minor cleaning issues, this is a very convenient location at a beautiful spot. "

"Experience was okay
The kitchen utensils need serious updating. There was no wine opener but plenty of wine glasses. Upstairs at night got a little warm. No hangers in the closet but found trash in the closet. Also found hair in the sink and on the bedroom floor. The balcony was tiny for a place that sleeps 6 but the view was nice."

"Excellent property and location!
The property was clean and well stocked. The location can’t be beat. The view is exceptional. Walk down to the beach or relax in the fabulous pool. The staff were helpful but one girl was not that friendly. The only complaints were the sinks in the bathroom were very slow to drain. Only other wish was that each unit had washers and dryers instead of having to pay at the community washers. "

"Mom and Sons first get away!
The condo was perfect!! I had a private balcony out my bedroom with a beautiful view of the ocean. There was a fishing jetty not far from us, you could see it from the condo. The condo had everything we needed!Great location!! Will definitely stay here again! "

"Beach Trip
Overall it was ok. We have stayed at El Constante for about 25 years. Great location. I despise the lengthy online forms you have to fill out. I am old enough to draw medicare and yet I have to give my age. The ac just does not work well enough upstairs in the bedrooms. My daughter picked up a nail in her tire. I am guessing it was in the parking lot with all the construction. Had to purchase new tire. There was pee left in the downstairs bath when we arrived. Last year a beer can was left on kitchen counter. Housekeeping needs to improve. Too many other choices will have to look at other options next year. "

We have been vacationing at El Constante for years. We love the location. The beach is just steps away. If you’re driving down to the beach to park, the access road is right there. Love that they are updating the exterior of the buildings. It looks great. Also like that it’s not a huge complex so the pool isn’t that crowded."

Very nice in all respects with one exception. The AC was fine as long as you were downstairs. Unfortunately, the two bedrooms were both upstairs and were almost unsleepable because the AC would not keep the temperature cool enough. "

"Relaxing stay
We loved that the we were steps away from the beach. We found the pool to be very nice as well. The condo was clean and comfortable. The beds/pillows were very comfortable as well. I certainly wouldn't be disappointed in staying here again! I would have like a more usable table and chairs on the baloney."

"Family Time
The rental was very nice. The maintenance staff my want to pay a little more attention to the bathroom area. I did find a large amount of hair in the drain of the tub and also on the pull out mattress. Other than that our stay was nice. Christy made our stay extra nice. She's a very nice person. "

Staff is always amazing! This is our 7th year coming here, Usually in a large group and we rent multiple rooms. Usually they stay is great but it has gotten more and more expensive and we dont know if we will return. The rooms are all the same with no additional benefits or perks but price keeps rising. Other than that i love this place"

Condo was very nice, however the air conditioner did not work as well as it should upstairs during the day but was not bad in the evening. Blinds are broken and need replacement so they can be opened and shut like they are meant to. Maybe darker window treatment to help with the heat. Other than this we loved it and will be back. "

"Christy was great....the other employees were horrible!
We stayed at this hotel because the Gulfstream next door was booked. This will never happen again! We were told to call the day before and they would let us know if we could get in early if the room was ready, free of charge. We called and Christy told us we could check in at noon. We left our house the next day around 7am with two babies and arrived at the hotel at 11:55am. The girl working argued with us for over ten minutes saying it wasn't their policy and we weren't on the list to get in early because we didn't pay. No one in the office knew anything. I explained to her and showed her my call log from where I had spoken to someone the day before. I showed her text messages to other family members right after I was told as well. She said it wasn't ready and nothing could be done because it was company policy. She wasn't going to help us out at all and told us we could sit in the lobby for four hours. Christy came in, I guess her shift started at noon and she was so nice and said, yes I told them they could get in early; miraculously our room was ready and we were given our keys. Instead of calling other employees and trying to figure out who told us, the girls working when we walked in had no intention of getting to the bottom of it. I told them they all needed to get on the same page because they were telling people different stuff and she said, we are on the same page sweetie. We were called sweetie over and over which was also very annoying. The TV in our room was broken, the screen was cracked and it looked like there was blood on the wall. There were also hardly any towels and when we asked for more it was a huge deal. We will be booking at the Gulfstream early next year!!!"

Overall this was wonderful. We had trouble with our AC the first and last day we were there. First day, the grounds keeper took a look at it and got to working. The last day, an AC pro went out after hours and fixed it within the hour. Besides our AC issue, everything was great!"

"Our stay at 214 El Constante was ruined by filthy/outdated condo
We gave been patrons of El Constante for 2.5 years now. The units are outdated but usually clean. Not so this time. We booked 213 and were called by management to switch. They cited a month long resident was staying at unti 213 and instead of displacing them would we move. We agreed to 214. Well, it was filthy and the rugs weren't vacuumed. Upon our arrival at 8:30 pm. I had to break out the vacuum cleaner and vacuum the whole condo. There were crumbs and crackers and sand and hair. The front of the fridge doors both upper and bottom are rusted out. I have pictures of fridge. The wall where the trash can sits has food stains sliding down wall. Most every dish, cutlery, pan I pulled out was dirty with food on it. Even plates. This was not jusy stuck on food from dishwasher this was unwashed used items to include a baking sheet. Gross. 😡Looking up at vent over dining table we saw the vent has visible black mold growing on it. Tiles in foyer and dining area cracked and move upon walking on them. To add to the overall unsafe environment I reached to turn on lamp on living TV area and the socket is loose and come up when you try to turn the switch and then bulb and socket fall over. I go to the second lamp same loose socket. A child could be shocked with this situation. There are roof tiles on topfooor poolside balcony. Then I further inspect vacuum cleaner as I was about to vacuum again the dust container is chaulked full of sand and grit and hair all the way to the top. It's weighed at least a pound. Basically no cleaning crew has ever emptied the container since the machine was purchased. Lastly, to make our vacation even more disgusting I had two encounters with cockroaches. I killed one. Alll the cabinets are pressed wood and are crumbling The whole unit is in sad shape. And they should pay us to stay there. Our vacation was ruined and not relaxing. Padre escapes made us pay in full. You do not pay 100% upfront for services or goods sight unseen bad policy. "
