"Quick getaway
Overall great. The rental was beautiful however the young security at night was totally rude.We have been staying here for years but we might have to choose another property next time. There has never been a time where they said only 4 people in the hot tub at a time. There was 3 young girls in there and 2 of us were about to get in and he came and said 4 people at a time y'all get out. Then it was a few minutes after the pool closed on a Saturday night at 10:30 and he said very rudely u need to get out I already gave everyone a few extra minutes. I'm not sure what kind of power trip he was on but definitely will not tolerate that treatment. He could have been nicer about it."

"Great Stay!
I recently stayed at this beach condo and had a wonderful experience! The condo was spotlessly clean upon arrival, which immediately set a positive tone for our stay. It’s clear that the owners put a lot of effort into maintaining the space, as everything from the furniture to the kitchen appliances was in great condition.
The location couldn’t be more convenient—just steps away from the beach! We loved being able to walk directly to the sand and enjoy the beautiful ocean views whenever we wanted. The condo is also close to local restaurants, shops, and other attractions, which made it easy to explore the area without a long drive.
Overall, this is a perfect spot for anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway with easy access to the shore and nearby amenities. Highly recommend!
The one negative comment is that the up stairs bedrooms were not as cool as the downstairs spaces but everything else was great."

"Great getaway!
We stayed here with our family and the location was great!! I was right off the beach and so close to the fishing pier. Everything about the location was amazing, including the services provided and quick responses to texts. Definitely recommend El Constante Condominiums #233. "

"Beach Weekend Holiday
This Condo location offered everything I was looking for a weekend beach trip. Located directly on the beach. Everything was as advertised. place was very clean, spacious for 1 adult and 2 teens, we all had our own sleeping space. You can walk right out on the beach, or drive 30 seconds to take your chair, cooler and gear. very nice pool with fountain, hot tub. Close to Packery channel for fishing. Plenty of local options for restaurants. Condo had all the kitchen items available for cooking. no issues with check in, or check out process. Front Desk staff were pleasant and helpful. We look forward to the next trip."

"worst experience with padre escapes
I was flat out lied to by manager on site on Sunday Morning. I just went down the street and rented another place for Sunday checking out on Monday. I was miss quoted on price and told I could not pay for a late check out which was different than I was told when I made the reservation. When I showed the manager the proof where he tried to hustle me and acted like a criminal.
I will try and avoid padra ecapes and elconstante and stay at other places.

"Great location, steps to the beach
We really enjoyed the pool and beach. Next time we’ll stay in a room with a beach view from the patio. Our condo was clean, however the patio furniture was in great need of replacement."

"Weekend Getaway
We stayed from a Thursday night to Sunday morning. I have a young family and this worked great because of the cost and proximity of the beach. The condo was simple and inviting, easy to work with the kitchen space and making our own meals. Unfortunately there was dog hair everywhere. Clumps of light hair in corners and around the condo, our clothes were covered with it as well. Just showed oversight from tue cleaning crew of that specific unit.
Lastly, had an altercation with vacationers on our last night (Saturday). It was after 11p and they were playing music loudly, drinking, smoking, and being disruptive by the pool which was keeping me and my family awake when this is after hours for the pool. I first called the after-hours line and waited on hold with no success after 10min. No evening security, so I went down to ask them to please keep it down and the adults got into my face calling me names and inappropriate things. Others were out on their balconies and witnessed the incident as well. One individual asked where I was staying and tried following me so I took a different route so they didn’t know which room my family was in. Once I got back to my room, I called and reported the incident to the police.
Because of this incident my family and I will not be going back.we travel regularly and we loved the cost, location, and amenities, but do not need this type of altercation when trying to enjoy our vacation. "

"Lovely Weekend
It was a nice place. We enjoyed staying there. Not sure if we would stay again. There was a stain (or two) on upholstery, the sofa sleeper was outrageously uncomfortable, and the cost was astronomical at >$500/ night, have mercy. It was hard to justify paying that much. Condo was remodeled well. "

"Fun Family Vacation with Amenities
Our extended family group has been vacationing at El Constante for most of the last 10 years (excellent beachfront location!) but this was our first time in this unit. The unit is beautifully updated, especially compared to some other units, and a good location for pool and parking lot access - not as far to lug all of our things when unpacking/packing! Washer and dryer were accessible which was extremely convenient and a few sand toys/chairs were also available. Only minor issue was a funny smell in the wash room and clogged disposal which were both easily resolved. El Constante office staff were wonderful as always."

"Lovely stay on the beach
We loved our stay here. Our place was spacious, clean, and a great view of the pool area. Great location on the beach which provided a great walk with soft, clean sand. A few places within walking distance and not far from Corpus Christi for shopping, eating, etc. truly loved our time and would stay here again!"

"great quite location steps from the beach
Great time relaxing at the beach, and exploring the USS lexington . House was nice and comfortable. Pillows were horrible old and $3 walmart pillows. There was extra pillows but no extra pillowcases provided. Loved that the linens were washed and wrapped so we knew they were clean. I would recommend spending a couple hundred on new pillows to make it more hotel like provide options and extra linens for them . There was only one for the pull out and two per bed. Other than that great location , we didn’t hear neighbor noise at night. I also recommend black out curtains on the bedroom windows the pool and outdoor light shine through blinds like it’s day light all night long."

"Clean and modern
We absolutely love unit 233. It has been the cleanest and modern unit we have stayed at in this complex. Even though it is mainly a pool view you can see some ocean from the master suite. We will be staying here again!"

It was clean! We were in no pet condo and noticed a few hairs in a chair but overall it was very clean!! Rules were posted so we would know what we had to do before checking out. The ladies in the office were super friendly!!"

"Would Stay Again
We loved being right on the beach. The floors weren't clean when we arrived. We got there at about 3:15 and they told us the room was clean, but hadn't been inspected, so they wouldn't let us in. But then at 4pm when it was ready, there were huge bags of linens or trash in the condo. So it seemed like it was never inspected. It bothers me so much that you expect guests to take the trash to the road before checking out. That is part of the cleaning fee. Also, you need to tell people on the paper where to take the trash if you are going to require this. Lastly, I think the process of renting with your company is frustrating. Both times I have completed the rental agreement when I book on your site. But then I get an email and have to fill out the same information again. I have to send a copy of my ID, but they take it and make a copy when I arrive. Then a text asking if I am bringing a boat, even though I checked that we weren't. "

"End of Summer Trip
The Room was Very Stuffy... We arrived unpacked gave it a couple of Hours to Cool off. Came back from the Beach still HOT !! Called office and a Maintenance Man came said our Thermostat wasn’t working properly. Fixed it and finally after about 6 hours got going. 2 Nd problem No Remote Control on Bottom TV .. so called Office .. someone came brought us a Remote and their was a problem with Cable .. she finally got it to work. So First day was a little Rough. Then a couple days of being there My Daughter in laws hair and my sisters hair was turning Greenish. As they brought it to the Attention of Office staff . We were told their was EXTRA chlorine because of Covid.Would have been nice to be Told in Advance. "

"Pleasant Stay
El Constante is in a great location right on the beach! You can tell the property is a bit dated, but it is overall well maintained. Unit 233 seems to have been remodeled not long ago.
The unit was well appointed and provided for what we needed. The sofa was sunken in and our bed was a bit too soft; but overall the unit was comfortable and it met our needs for a beach-going trip. As far as cleanliness goes, we did have to do some cleaning and disinfecting of our own before we started using things - these days, one must take all precautions (due to Covid19 and all)! After wiping off some surfaces we did notice dirt around, especially in kitchen and bathrooms. We also changed the AC filter because it was quite dirty already. Also, one of the showers upstairs was very slow to drain.
Other than these minor details, we had a great time staying at this unit, and enjoyed our beach escape.
Would stay again!"

"Nice Condo, could be cleaner, close to beach
Nice condo, close to beach, but too expensive for the experience. There was a broken lamp taped to a shoe box??, there was poop on the bathroom floor..obviously the floor was not clean, so what else was not clean???, the gate to the pool was very dirty and never washed, yappy dogs next door, and the pool was not clean, lots of human hair, and it and the hot tub had a very noticable white film from sunblock. very gross! Compared to other Condos there, this was much better and remodled. Also, it states partial ocean view, that is a total lie! But there were three balconies, so that was nice. "

"Pretty, updated condo. Cleaning needs to be enhanced.
We have a lovely stay but found cigarette ash under the rim of the half bath toliet, two empty water bottles under the master bed, and an empty shoebox on the 2nd bedroom balcony. Fortunately, I brought my own cleaning wipes to ensure our stay was clean but better inspection during cleaning can be done."

It was relaxing, enjoyable and family oriented. The rooms were super clean along with the pool & pool area, the pool was being very pleasing to the eye and enjoyable especially at night when it was cooler thank goodness it was heated. The hot tub was very nice. The people on the property were very nice and helpful. The weather was beautiful that weekend. We will definitely will go back to stay. The location was perfect we loved the boardwalk down to the beach. Overall, great get away experience. "

"Condo 233
The condo was in need of a face lift, refrigerator had rust spots on it, the seal was bad only one draw in bottom,the steps and upstairs needed vacuuming, bath upstairs had drywall mud left on cabinet and light fixtures, we washed light fixtures downstairs full of dust, plug on wall had no cover, light in kitchen had no cover also, construction was done during our stay leaving it hard to use condo because all the stuff from closet was put in kitchen could not access fridge or stove, electricity was put for most of one day. However staff tried to be helpful but there should be a check for what needs to be done in each condos before rental. Pool was very nice."

"Cost going up too fast!!
The escalation in Cost to stay has risen too sharply. The interior is falling apart. Ive been shopping for a place of my own. Taxes doubled on Island properties. They thought the Schlitterbahn was going to add a boom to revenue, but they're parking lot is almost empty. Shop around!!!"
