"Perfect location
El Constante is in a great location with easy access to the beach. The unit was clean and provides the basic necessities with many dishes, ice trays, and even a pet water and food bowl. We’ve used El Constante three times in the last 5 weeks and took our dog this trip. She loved the beach did great in the condo. Would definitely recommend!"

"118 supplies not so great
Was disappointed with unit 118. Very few pots and pans. No large pot to boil noodles. Had to borrow one. Not enough silverware. Zero serving spoons. No spatula. Very few cooking utensils. No casserole dish. No sheet pans. Didn’t even have pot holders! The rest of the unit was great. Very cute and clean and well stocked. "

"Great location, nice accommodations
Overall the stay was nice with good accommodations and great location/nice beach. One thing that needed attention was the mattress on the sofabed. It was horribly uncomfortable. It even hurt to sit on it as the bed was uneven and you could feel the metal bars through the mattress. Small things like no toilet paper holder, no patio lights, no stovetop lights needed to be tended to. But overall it was very clean and had most items in kitchen. We were missing a hair dryer but they were very helpful in getting one for us quickly. Great response from the management."

"Enjoyed Corpus Christi
Overall had very good time at (Property Management) - El Constante. Our unit had very comfortable king size bed and was clean. Unit had pretty much everything we needed but could use some updating and painting, and new pots and utensils. Was great being so close to the beach and the pool is great. Management was 10+...can’t say enough about them! Always polite and helpful. Able to exchange towels when we needed to, lots of social activities available...even had Super Bowl party and party when snow birds left! Washer was very close. Would definitely stay again!"

The condo was east to find, and centrally located to stores/restaurants on the island. Condo was clean & well appointed- would have liked some basic things like coffee, salt & pepper, but not a big deal since the grocery is super close. We really liked the condo & the complex & we look forward to staying there again. "

"A few improvements needed
Overall it was ok...I know this property is getting older so management needs to keep up with the various upgrades/maintenance/furniture as needed. I found dirty dishes in the cabinets and there were roaches which is a BIG NO NO for me! I love the fact it’s close to the beach! I have been staying here for years but next time we will be trying out other condos in that area even though we might have to drive back and forth! Not recommending until major improvements are made!"

"Beach Stayover
Our condo was ready when we arrived. Everything in good working order. Nicely decorated with most evwrithing we needed for our 4 night stay. We loved that the beach was just steps away, with incredible sunrise and moonrise. It would have been great to have a ceiling fan on the porch though."

"Very nice and clean unit
This was a beautiful stay as this week of June came with cooler weather made possible with wind and rain. Upon entering this unit it was clear, that it was very clean. The kitchen was immaculate, well organized, and supplied. The bedroom and restroom were no different, being very presentable and clean. A nice aspect of this location is parking in front of the unit allowing easy and quick access while unloading and loading our vehicle. My only suggestion in any of these units is to provide a comfy sofa bed mattress. Thank you"

It's our third time at el constante. We've stayed in 106, 126 and this time 116. We have a dog so these are all pet friendly rooms. No issues, very clean, everything we needed was provided. Pool bracelets already in the room, nice touch! And pool gets maintained every morning , very clean and its heated! It's a partial beach view ( 1/3 really) but your literally steps away. Although our fav room is still 106 because it is beach front, you will not regret staying in 116. It was a busy weekend too but we had no issues.. Book it!"

"Very pleasant stay
Loved this little place. I would say that the bed could have had a better mattress. The extra foam that was on the mattress was annoying, the fitted sheet didn’t fit over it and the bed was too soft. The fridge squeaked when opening the door, sounded like a loud fart. The bathroom fixtures worked fine but, were aesthetically unpleasing, pitted and rusty looking. All and all I still enjoyed my stay and would stay there again."

"Wonderful Time in 116
The unit was clean and comfortable. The bed was softer than I prefer but it had good support. The bedroom was dark in the morning which allowed me to sleep well. It was very windy so I could sit on the porch & see and hear the waves. I always felt safe at the unit. I never heard the tenants in the neighboring unit. I loved the walk-in closet which allowed the suitcases to be out of the way. The kitchen was full of everything you could need even a crockpot. I cannot wait to go back to this unit.

"Multi family fun
We stayed in 114-116 and although families in 114 and 116 said the sofa beds left something to be desired, that was really the only complaint. We all had a very enjoyable stay in each condo! We all loved the location and Convenience of the beach and the redone pool was the icing on the cake! We will all be staying again "

My husband and I came with our 2 dogs to move our son into his dorm at Texas A&M. We deduced to stay a few extra days to enjoy the beach. This place was great. "Very nice place to stay
The El Constante was a very nice property and Unit 116 was exactly as pictured and described. The property was very clean and provided all the necessities. On the ground level there really wasn't a front porch, but a small space with 2 chairs and a view of the ocean if sitting sideways in front of the entrance. However,you could hear the waves. The desk clerks were friendly and check in quite quick and easy.
Working with (Property Management) was pleasant. Answered all my questions before check in and even gathered and mailed a couple of things to me that I had left behind. Owner also pleasant to work with."

"Very Nice Stay at El Constante
Our room was very clean (room 116) and perfect for a "Pet Friendly Room" because it had no carpets. Our dog is potty trained, but we wondered if prior pets would make the room smell, but... since the condo has no carpets, the room smelled and was very clean.
There were 2 things that were not up to par... the utensils and dishes were dirty from the prior renters so I had to rewash everything before we could used them. I did alert the front desk. Also, there were no pot holders for the oven in our room.

Well, they couldn't find my paperwork at the front and had to wait for it to be found. We got there and the beds were like metal like in a military barracks, and the apartment smelled like mildew. Your maintenance man the next day was helpful and put in a new filter and sprayed some stuff in it to help with smell, which it did. The front step was broke and the wood was rotting. And trying to get the cable to work each night we had to call office and someone very helpful was able to fix it (after an hour on the phone)whether it was in the bedroom or living room (oops and there was only one main remote) for 299.00 per night, I figured the accomadations would have been better."

The apartment's location is great; it's steps from the beach. The kitchen has everything you need if you decide to cook. However, the apartment seems a bit worn. The fridge has rust spots on the front & side although the interior was clean. The toilet seat should be changed & the water runs off very slowly in the bath sink. I appreciated that there was dish soap & detergent for the dishwasher. "

"Budget Friendly Beachfront Stay
We love beach vacations. Our favorite locations are beachfront houses or condos where you can walk out the front door barefoot and the beach is right there a minute away. That's exactly why we chose this place. We were also trying to stay within a budget, and this place hit the spot.
As long as you set your expectations that this is a budget condo, you won't be disappointed. Keeping in mind the price range, the property was in good condition, the property was clean, and the few minutes we spent checking in at the office, the staff were kind and helpful."

"DISAPPOINTED
The location was the only thing satisfactory with staying in this unit. The condo was in need of being updated from top to bottom. The refrigerator had rust stains on the outside. The oven had broken parts but probably useable. We decided upon arrival that we would not be cooking in. The place is worn out and not up to expectation even at reduced last minute pricing. Be aware. This building is old. Walls are thin. The upstairs occupants sounded like a gymnastic family that’s liked to also move furniture around. The shaking from upstairs sound like structure popping downstairs. Pieces of the ceiling were also falling off due to the current hammering with construction repairs outside. The whole place felt unclean and worn out. Dead roach in closet. I would not recommend this unit until renovated. "

Our room was a a 2-3 minute walk to the water. We stayed on the 1rst floor and could here every step above us. The pool was great. The grassy area along the seawall was full sticker burs. "

"So close to the beach
Stayed Mothers Day weekend. Upon arrival we were told we had been moved because on a burst water pipe. Wasn't too happy but they actually gave us a little upgrade ( beach view instead of dune view)which was nice. The only problem was the huge construction dumpster sitting in the parking lot block any beach view. Love how close the beach is. Overall great stay and great time!"
