Overall very good. We have been coming to this condo since the early 90s. History of great customer service in the past with quick turn around time responses re requests. This trip was different. Requested early check in and no response. Did get a message 2 min before check in time that the room was ready. We always leave the evening before the check out time. IMO, it seems the business culture has changed. "

"Perfect for Beach Trip
This was a very nice condo just steps from the beach. It was clean and cozy. There was plenty of space for all our belongings. The mattress on the sofa bed does need to be replaced as it is very flimsy and could not accommodate an adult. Our 10 yr old boy was fine on it though. We had an incident with the unit above us where the A/C overflowed and leaked through the ceiling. However, the maintenance guy was there in a flash and got it fixed. Team was extremely responsive."

We had a wonderful time and the unit was great. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed, my only complaint is that I don’t think they mopped the floors when the cleaned before we came. I would stay there again though and would recommend."

"Condo great, lease office unprofessional
At 4:15 no one had contacted so we called. Was informed we would be notified when the property was ready. At 4:25 we saw the custodian and had him call the office. About 5 minutes later we received the info. It would have been professional to notify us that they weee running behind instead of letting us worry that our reservation/ check in may be void. Great condo, overall comfortable. As others mentioned you can hear stomping from the floor above. The shower head needs to be replaced as it just pours out in one stream as if coming straight out of the faucet. Another problem is parking. Someone is always parked in front of your door, including utv’s and vehicles without proper parking pass. Reported to the office and was insured someone would come mark the vehicles but they never did so we had the problem the entire week. Otherwise a great place to stay."

"Awful Service
I needed to cancel due to my brother getting into a car accident. I asked if I could apply my payment for a future stay which was “no.” I asked for a refund and was told I couldn’t get that either because it was too short of notice. I think it ducks to have zero flexibility with a long time customer on such a serious matter. I have never cancelled a reservation prior to this. I don’t plan on returning for the foreseeable future. "

As always, the room was great. The location is perfect.
The downside - Noisy upstairs neighbors. They paced heavily back and forth across the room for over 3 hours on Tuesday night.
Perhaps you should mention that the sound carries to the units below and ask people to be courteous to their neighbors. "

We stayed at 110 for 2 nights. Place was very clean. It is very close to the beach and also the pool that is just around the corner. The picture hasn't been updated, but the recliner in the condo is new and comfortable. The bed was hard and you could hear the kids upstairs running marathons lol, but that can't be helped. On the last day, the neighbors were smoking and you could smell it in our room a bit, but we were leaving, so... Everything worked great and you can't beat the location! I'd come back to 110!"

"We love it at El Constante.
The unit was conveniently located and nicely decorated. The recliner chair was pretty worn out and our bathroom sink wouldn’t drain the first night. Was fixed within an hour of reporting it. The only real downside was the upstairs renters had a small child they let run and stomp for hours."

The location was the most important to us and the location was great. There is a lot of room for improvement. Beds were uncomfortable and the couch bed did not have the sheets changed. We called and it was fixed quickly. Unit was not swept well and definitely not mopped. There was a mildew smell but I think that's common in places that close to the beach. Walls and ceiling were thin. Overall it was a nice unit that met our needs. Communication was good. They had us check in late but let us check out late too. "

"A Nice Spring Stay
Our 1st time back with the new management company, we noticed improvements. Still some work to be done, the side gate to the pool area wasn't working, the tile around the hot tub needs some work and they are still remodeling some of the units so there is some construction noise during the daytime but none of these issues prevented us from having a very nice stay. Our unit was clean and in good shape. It was short on plastic glasses but Wal-Mart had some on sale for $.50 so we bought some & left them behind."

Company-Check in was great. Staff were friendly. Nice complex and great location.
Condo- Bed was horrible. We had to borrow wood from construction company to support the bed because the support legs were busted or missing. Very minimal kitchen utensils and junk silverware. Ceiling fan in bedroom is loose and wobbles- the neighbor upstairs actually called the office complaining about it resulting in a call to us. This condo gets no sunlight due to being on north side of building. You can hear the people upstairs every time they walk across their floor. Very limited beach view...more sand dune and beach access road view Condo needs alot of TLC. "

"Lovely Getaway right on the beach!
Love the location and view of the beach! Also love the heated pool and hot tub. The office staff was so friendly and welcoming! The unit was perfectly outfitted with everything we needed. The only negative was that a downstairs unit enabled us to hear everything from upstairs! If I had it to do over, I would try to get an upper unit. Would highly recommend this place!"

Great place to stay, steps away from beach. Condo was clean and nice and cool when we arrived.
Only problem we encountered was we were on the first floor and there was a kid staying above us, she decided to run, jump and tumble from 8:45 to 1:00 in the morning. Very loud for us and hard for us to sleep. Noise was horrible."

"Last minute 4th of July stay...
Due the beach access road closures announced for the 4th of July weekend, we sought an alternate vacation rental that would put us right on the beach so we did not have to deal with the beach access roads.
We enjoyed the condo we chose very much! However, the other guests we encountered at the pool area were rude and obnoxious. The majority were highly intoxicated, playing loud music with profanity, ordering pizza to eat pool side and in the pool even though there are signs posted that there is no alcohol or food allowed in the pool. They ignored their large groups of kids who were wrestling with each other and bumping in to other guests without a care in the world and even climbing on top of and jumping off of the dolphin foundation in the middle of the pool (even though there are signs that say no jumping and no climbing on the fountain).
If it weren’t for the other guests who ruined our time at the pool, I would have really enjoyed our stay at El Constante!"

We could have used a drink pitcher and more ice trays. The bed was very comfortable. Good storage for suitcases and clothes. "

"Not to satisfying
from the beginning there was issue with rental didnt get door access till 730 . When I get there ac didn't work they offered to take fans but I wanted it fixed so ac guy got there at 1am my kids were hot n sweaty wife unhappy. Asked for a different room they said no. My account was charged twice for some reason its hard to get ahold of someone to speak with. I basically got 1 night stay with 3 day pay . We usually rent this place every year I'm thinking maybe its time to get somthkng newer "

"Great place to stay near the beach
Checkin was easy and friendly. There were folks right on site to assist. The 1 bedroom was clean and large enough. All of the utensils needed were there. Extra bedding, sheets, blankets available. The rollout bed had a lot of it's spring missing, so it would not even support a child. Had to take the mattress and place on floor. The pool was heated, and the spa was hot too. Cannot get any closer to the beach than this place. The boardwalk, is right at the gate.. Easy access to beach. "

WE loved the proximity to the beach. The room itself needs a few updates. A blackout curtain in the bedroom would be great, the window faces the pool and the lights are very very bright. basic essentials would be nice, salt, pepper, sweetener. better toilet paper, that sand paper you offer is no bueno. Extra blankets. Construction was going on on the building... "

Our smoke alarm kept going off. We had returned from after being gone all day go find the alarm going off. Gary messed with it and it went off but about 5 minutes later it came in again. We called and it was after hours and they sent someone out to take care of it!! Very nice man that came! Had a great time I would stay again!! "

"We love El Constante and (Property Management)!
El Constante is our favorite place to stay in North Padre. It is nice having a condo with a living room and full kitchen. The best thing about el Constante is that it’s right on the beach. You can walk right out the back to the beach! The pool area is nice and so is the pool. The beach access road is right next to El Constante too. The only downside to El Constante is that the interior of the condos is outdated and looks old but these things are not important to us. We are there for the beach! Even though the condos look old, they are always clean. The staff at (Property Management) is so nice and helpful too. We have booked through them for years."

"Downum Annual beach trip
The unit we stayed in was pleasant but not very well equipped, I had to go and buy a large bowl as well as a few other things which I left for the next visitors. The main problem we had was with the management, our group had several units rented one of which had a water pipe blow out spewing water all over the unit with no management to be found. Our cell phones had poor service and the land lines did not work. By the time the plumber arrived the unit was soaked with water streaming from the ceiling and soaking the carpets. We had to request clean up several times. This happened at 8 in the morning and at 7 pm I went and asked if they could at least get a shop vac and clean up some of the water. Not the response I would have expected. Very disappointed."
