"My room was wonderful!
The rug was recently replaced and felt so "yummy" to walk on. They remodeled the kitchen including replacing the sink with a granite sink (Silgranit by Blanco). The fan in the bedroom was QUIET - it did not squeak. The shower was spacious - they had remodeled the bathroom and removed the tub - shower only. The bathroom sink was cute and it did not splash water out. The king bed was comfortable. It was a quiet room. The room was very clean and tidy. I would request this room again. "

"Weekend Getaway w/Friendd
Pleasant, low traffic with a few bumps in the road. The unit we rented has very nice/qualities amenities. Staff is professional and friendly (Matt/Cole) but the property especially around the pool area was lacking a bit. Cut palm branches in the pool. Painting and maintenance going on during swimming time and hot tub motor was out our entire stay. I know the outside beach area is not your responsibility but tons of seaweed on beach front. Apparently things are cleaned up better during peak months "

"Great Stay! Would Definitely Return!
We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is absolutely perfect — close to everything you'd want to do in Corpus Christi. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the place itself is super comfortable, well-decorated, and felt like home away from home. The bed was great, and the nightly rate was very reasonable.
A couple of small things kept me from giving 5 stars. The extra fees added to the stay felt a little steep compared to other places we’ve stayed. And as a first-time visitor to the area, it would’ve been nice to have some local recommendations or info provided.
That said — I definitely recommend this property and fully plan to stay here again!"

"We were happy
We liked our weekend here. Few issues: there was an issue with the outside AC unit making a terrible sound all night that kept me up. I msg the mgt company and they were in it asap. We wish there was directions on how to use the remotes for the TV. Never could figure out the main TV but did figure out the bedroom. This unit sits across from the door to the laundry- so we had other tenants just camp out in our chairs outside our window... I guess it was ok but a little odd. They said they were running a few loads and would be done soon."

"Great stay!
My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. It was perfect. The unit was larger than we expected and very clean. The complex was really quiet. And we loved how easy it was to get to the beach. We highly recommend and want to come back!"

"Winter Texan
The stay was okay. Spent a lot of money to have to go and buy a skillet, cake pan and small utensils needed. What was in the unit was something I would not put my food in. The drawer fell out of the stove when opened, no oven light, the burners were not level, oven temperature was not regulated correctly. One frying pan, and 1 large pan and 1 small pan, pizza pan were good. Winter Texans stay there and it is our home. Very poorly furnished. Bed was good. Refrigerator quit working but it started up again when plugging it into the other outlet. Told the office and was told the owner would be contacted. Never heard anything back. Condo needs window coverings that don't let light in. We are booked for next winter but in a different unit. "

Stayed 3 nights in unit 133. Everything was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. The lights are pretty bright if someone is sleeping on the sleeper sofa (we did not) so keep that in mind. It’s pretty private in the corner and walks out to the pool (although you can’t really see the pool from the unit). I actually liked that. The only real con is that they don’t really clear off the beach for parking. We got our truck stuck in the sand going to the beach and also leaving. They clear a way to drive but definitely not park....waste of a beach pass. One last thing- the pool water temp is way too hot. Not refreshing. Overall though, great trip."

We have stayed at El Constante at numerous condos, this was our 1st time at this unit, I behoove they charge a cleaning fee ahead of time, sadly it was not up to standard. Hopefully they will take notes of our issues and try to fix them for future guests. Of course your paying to be pool side so that's the cool part. As far as our issues, the folding sofa had old crusty underwear in it, once unfolded, I'm sure that the cleaning staff shuttle have seen during the cleaning in between guests. We also have never had this issue at any of the other condos, but the extra pillows that are used for the folding sofa that are located in the bedroom closet were all YELLOW, it was disgusting, you could literally see the sweat/ drool on them. The good thing is once I told them someone brought us replacement in like 30 mins, I wasn't about to let me kids sleep on that. Anyway we love the property, been coming here for years, hopefully our next stay will be better and they do offer a little discount upon booking. Not the owners fault. The kids did like that they put out little children items under the TV drawer. Location great, kitchen stocked with dishes/ basic kitchen needs. "

"Delightful Rental...
This unit is located in a private cubby in the complex, very nice and close to the pool. The furniture was well thought out considering the usage of the floor space and allowing comfort for 2 adults and 2 children. Sleeper sofa was very clean (adding an egg crate and mattress pad is a great idea if you’re going to use any sleeper sofa). The televisions were not Smart TVs so no movies, the kids were disappointed, but they adjusted well to board games. To the employees who clean, Shame On You!! We were told that our unit had to be cleaned twice because it failed first inspection. We did not get to check in until 4:30...I honestly believe it was not cleaned at all regarding the microwave and floors. Behind the sofa it was very dirty where pieces of food had been left and the floors did not feel clean. A warning ⚠️ to the owners if you’re paying for this service. "

"Beautiful condo!
This condo is absolutely beautiful! It has great access to the pool and the beach, and is equipped with everything you need. The only negative, as explained by other renters, is the loud second floor resident. Sadly, we heard very loud foot steps starting at 6 am, and continuing as late at 1 am every day. Without that, this review would be 5 stars all the way. We will definitely visit El Constante again!"

"Great location, but disappointed in condition of condo
This was my second stay with El Constante and love the location. I have been pleased with the booking process and office staff. Check in was great and condo location was perfect. Here’s what I was disappointed in with the condition of the condo, first walking in there was strong smell of mold and just musty, but I put that as to the condo not being used and lack of circulation, but it might help to run the air conditioning before guests arrive. The bathroom was pretty gross, it didn’t look like it had been thoroughly cleaned. The sink, shower didn’t look like they were cleaned and had to wear my flip flops while I showered and there was feces stuck to the toilet bowl. The kitchen sink was also very dirty and didn’t look like it had been cleaned, the coffee maker had a rusted heating plate and the refrigerator looked like it had food all over it and dishes in cupboard had food still on them.I did bring my own sanitizing and cleaning items because of COVID, but would have expected extra care and attention had been put into the condo’s cleanliness because of covid. Remote was broken and taped prior, but still had trouble using it. I was also woken up on my second day at about 6:30 am to a lot of scratching within the walls/ceiling. I’m not sure if anyone staying above me had a dog and that may have been a reason for the noise or there are rodents. Everything else was fine, I didn’t spend a lot of time in the condo, so I just let it go for the moment. Will I stay here again? Sure, but if the condition and cleanliness of the condo are like they were this last visit, then there will be a problem and request for a cleaner condo. I don’t see the purpose of charging a cleaning fee when the condo isn’t cleaned and presentable. You may want to also suggest to it’s owner that the bedskirt needs to be replaced, not a great impression when it looks dirty and ripped. I didn’t mention it to the office bec"

there was too much light coming in from both the front, and from the bedroom. Also, on our last night there was some kind of drinking party going on in the parking lot,i was worried about my vehicle,skateboarding between the cars and pickup's."

My cousin and I had a great stay in #133 except for two situations. We had loud and thunderous upstairs neighbors all week and one day at the pool a very discourteous group of folks playing distasteful and loud music. I do not agree with (Property Management) method (sending a text) of resolving issues. It is far too easy to ignore a text. Other than these isolated incidents, I would recommend El Constante. The location is perfect! It is close to good restaurants and shopping and an excellent IGA. It is not far from Port A or Corpus Christi and the clean beach is at your doorstep. "

"Ok stay
The location on the beach is perfect. The pool is great was dirty on our 3rd day though. We stayed in room 133. It was cute however kind of dirty. We got a pet free room due to our son having dog allergies pretty bad and there was dog haor all over the rug and mounds of it on floor around under the bed. Luckily my sister was staying the same days as us and he was able to stay in her room once his breathing started acting up. Just overall not the cleanest place.Also the no fresh towels is kind of dumb.Holiday Inn is feet away, probably stay there next time."

Very nicely decorated, comfortable, clean and updated apartment. The corner location creates a bolt of seclusion and privacy which is nice. Easy access to the parking lot and pool. The only drawback is that it is on the lower level and as such, there can be a lot of disturbance from the unit above. "

"Unit Not as expected for our family
The AC was totally broken when we arrived and the maintenance crew took 2 hours to fix it. It should have been tested before guests arrived....
It was disappointing that the couch did not turn into a bed.
The blow up bed was NOT a great substitute for this. We were told that it was a sofa bed when we booked it. We did not like being stuck in a dark corner....were told it opened on to the pool...that was not true.

Condo was exactly as described. Very clean and spacious for 2 people. Complex was very active but not to noisy. Pool is in relatively close proximity to the unit but the way it is situated in the building you did not have any noise. Right on the beach so that was awesome. You definitely rent again!"

"Great stay!
I took my daughter for the weekend and we had a blast. Our unit was updated, clean and very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the pool and the fact that it was only steps to the beach! My only (very small) complaint was that they were late getting the pool cleaned each morning which meant we had to wait to swim. My daughter is four so swimming was on the agenda from sun up to sun down. But again, such a small thing. Our stay was wonderful and we will return. "

Besides the water being turned off for a short time on 2 separate days (with no warning) and a herd of elephants in the unit above, the stay was great. The location on the beach was great and made for easy morning/evening walks. I alao liked that the actual unit was tucked away in a corner so the pool noise was kept at a minimum. The bed was comfy and the decor was as pictured. I would definitely recommend and book this unit again."

For nearly 10 years we have been going to your location, but after hearing about the new reservation and charging policy - we are already looking for a new place to stay. I think the new charging of paying yourselves two weeks in full before the arrival is so unfair. My way of business is paying once service are rendered. So many events can happen like car problems or health problems and you guys charging the full amount two weeks prior is so frustrating. Not very helpful for hard working Americans !"

"Awesome Beachside Condominiums
We rented their meeting room for my daughter's graduation party. We finished up late and decided to stay the night. The staff was great throughout the entire experience. They were able to rent us a room at the last minute. It was clean, well furnished (coastal decor) and very comfortable. The shower was awesome!They currently have some construction going on, but it was not an issue. I highly recommend this place! "
