"Feels like a cheat code unlocked.
This was our first time staying with (Property Management) and we had a great time! Pool is great and being able to easily walk to the beach makes it super convenient. It feels like we unlocked a cheat code because many places in Port A or Corpus Christi that offer this value for these amenities, cleanliness, and convenience are almost impossible to find in peak season. We’ll be coming back!"

Pool area was well manicured. Rooms were very clean (no sand in the room). Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. Approach to the beach was safe and convenient. coding into the complex from the beach area was secure. The beach was clean. The AC vent in the living room seemed to need some attention due to discoloration on the ceiling. We enjoyed our stay and will come again !! We will stay a week next time. (The HEB was convenient.)"

This is first time staying in this one bedroom condo it was nice but lacked simple amenities I am used to staying there . I only had 2 forks , 1 small bowl to mix in and very small pot to boil food in. I have stayed in a 2 bedroom in the past 25 years and always had better amenities."

"OK, but could be better
Condo could use some attention, but things are fixable. Bedroom TV did not work, although a few days into the stay a repair was scheduled. Issues with the bathroom sink - odor and some level of clog. Some odor in the bedroom. Also received multiple texts about an issue at another property, and multiple reminders about noise rules, including one at 6:40 AM."

They keep you informed throughout the entire process, from the time you make the reservation, through the payments, what you need to do before and after you arrive. The people in the office are very helpful and friendly. Our unit had issues with the microwave not working and they were able to find a countertop unit that we could use, the bedroom TV was unwatchable and that was never repaired.. "

"PERFECT Weekend Get-A-Way!
A quick 3 day trip to the coast from SA; This is a perfect spot! I am very familiar with this area; El Constante and Gulfstream are the BEST locations; both have great pools too. Unit 129 is a PERFECT spot to step out and be at the pool; yet seemed super quiet even when the pool had a decent crowd. The guests were super friendly; the whole experience was like a beach party at the pool! We would definitely stay again; The unit was "basic" but really darn near perfect- Excellent values/perfect location. Unit was very, very clean upon arrival. Check in/Check out process was super easy. WOULD definitely stay here again!"

Beyond outdated, probably 20+ years. Woke up to unit above us leaking water from above. There AC unit I was told. Staff was great one unit open and they were able to move us. Left early after due to tired and not comfortable. First unit bed terrible. Hard to get temperature comfortable. Either cold or hot. Staff was great owners never contacted us or discounted us for the inconvenience. Great location but not worth it for me. "

pros: great location, clean condo except for the sofa bed. beautiful beach, kids loved the pool access and beach access. laundry room close by and parking is easy. front desk was polite and helpful.
con: cable did not work, tried every instruction in the book and no one came to fix it. fire alarm kept going off even with boiling water, kitchen needs some upgrades including a new stove/cutlery. beach is not as secluded as i hoped, people brought their trucks/tents and took the best spots 8am and did not leave until 11pm, but maybe this was a labor day weekend problem. wonderful beach to do fishing as well. be careful on the pier, very slippery. "

"Great location, Dirty place, but friendly and helpful staff
Great location and exterior! Inside smells dog urine, black mold in AC vent, missing Smoke and carbon detectors, bathroom fan is out, furniture is warned out, very dirty floors, cabinets, faucets, tub. The office is very responsive and helpful, tried remedy a few of these, we appreciate it very much. Management addressed rowdy pool party on Monday by text the next day. Pool was unusable for half of next day. Expect glass in the pool, 5 yo in the hottub, teens left to be self-supervised eating pizza in the pool and desperately tried to get drunk. Loud rap music til 10:30pm at the pool. Otherwise it is wonderful! Don't be surprised if your car gets scratched or dented in the parking lot.
We might consider coming back off-season if the room cleanliness could be confirmed at booking. And will look for other places. Location is great!"

"Meh no bells and whistles
Not pleased with sofa bed, very dirty once opened up, food, hairs, stains you name it (left from whoever stayed last). Toddler snacks left under the recliner, pretty gross, recliner was very comfortable, mattress in master bedroom was hard as a rock, IF you like firm then this is the room for you, HOWEVER we feel that they could spend a little more on a quality mattress, we couldn't wait to get back home into our own beds (children actually told us this first, you have to admit that it must be pretty bad for people so light weight to complain, between 60-100lbs) We went for rest, rejuvenation and relaxation, sadly we couldn't get that.
This condo was not stocked with many linens, kitchen appliances, or any extra beach toys/fun items like some of the other rooms that we have stayed at on the property. We didn't even get a little orange welcome bag (we normally use that for the beach). Not sure why the smoke alarms were disconnected, but they were sitting on top of the fridge. Anyhow, the location is great, you literally open your front door and there is the pool a few more steps and there is the beach. ( You would think they would have an indoor safety lock so children will not try to venture out to the pool by themselves, just saying from a mom safety point, we talked to ours about it and they never tried but I can imagine others might, so just beware) Kitchen was clean, fridge was clean, master bedroom was clean. Very nice that you can see your vehicle in the parking lot from the master bedroom. The property does spray for mosquitos daily when they clean the pool but also bring some spray (they are doing their best)

Overall, the fact that it's right at the pool worked out for our family perfectly however if you want a little more peace out of the action maybe pick another room and if sleep quality is important to you. Perfect to just open the door for bathroom, nap and snack breaks. "

"Great complex!
We very much enjoyed our stay here. We spent time swimming in the heated pool and relaxed in the hot tub. The complex is located right on the beach and sea wall, so the location was prime! The bed and couch were comfortable but very noisy. The flooring is newer and the colors pretty neutral. The interior design was nothing extraordinary, but updated enough and very clean!"

Our visit at El Constante was so great! Raquel and Taylor welcomed me and my family and made me feel at home the moment I walked into their office to check in. Property was quiet, very clean and RIGHT ON THE BEACH! Our room was very roomy for my family of 3 and the heated pool was AMAZING on those chilly nights. The hot tub was not working during our stay but everything else was amazing so rating is still 5 stars all around! Can’t wait to visit again! "

"Another great El Constante visit
Have been coming to El Constante for year and as always, it does not disappoint. Stayed in unit 129 for the first time. Beautiful rental, very happy with it. My ONLY suggestion would be if you have kids under the age of 5-7, that are still figuring thing out, this might not be the unit for you. There is no inside locking mechanism on the front door that leads out to the pool, only an outside keypad. Overall, very impressed and would highly recommend 129 and El Constante. We will be back multiple times this summer!"

"Fall On The Beach
Overall it was a good trip a little rain one day but the sun always shines on the beach at some point. Room was great and no problems with anything.
We have been staying at El Constante for over 30 years usually one or two trips a year. We always enjoy our stay. I like that the property is being updated and its going to look great when the job is finished."

"Wonderful?
The condo we stayed in, 129, was beautiful. Looks like they are just about done remodeling! It’s absolutely gorgeous! However, if it weren’t for the unbelievably thundering construction going on in the room right above us, everything would have been perfect. Nonstop everyday from sunup til sundown. We were so tired from the beach and wanted to nap but guess what....
So, I absolutely recommend staying here, just make sure you schedule around the remodeling. :/"

"Disappointed with unit!
Was very disappointed with the rental unit ! It was very dirty. Furniture was
old and dirty. The pillows were yellow and stained.
Had to go to local Walmart to buy pillows and blankets.
It was advertised on-line as recently renovated. IT WAS NOT!
Would not stay there again. Would not recommend to

"Not Worth the Price
The stay was enjoyable because of the location and being right off the beach however for the price you pay, you wont get any sleep, the beds are horrible and completely uncomfortable. The Sofa sleeper springs will still in your back and because of that we had to pile up in one bed. This unit needs to be upgraded or the price needs to be lowered if its not going to really accommodate the amount of people listed."

"Staff Unsympathetic
Overall our stay was fine. We had two issues. There was a dead roach in the condo. It wasn't a big deal, just not very appealing. Our second issue was with the blinds in the bedroom. When we tried to open them, they broke. When my husband went to the staff for a solution, the staff person was unsympathetic and not very helpful. She offered aluminum foil and said we would be charged $20. We should not be charged for a breakage due to normal use. Additionally, we had to purchase masking tape to keep the foil up on the window. Although neither issue was a major concern, the lack of care by the staff was not pleasant nor appreciated."

My son, my husband and myself stayed at this property for three days while in town for a graduation. We wanted to be close to the beach and this absolutely as close as you can get. Wonderful location, you walk right from the property onto the sandy beach. We stayed in #129 which faced the pool and we loved this location. We had a gorgeous view of the pool and you could even see the ocean through the walkway. The ladies in the office were super friendly and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (even a box fan which I cannot sleep without!) We will definitely be back to stay again!"

"Great location, needs better sofa couch
Overall the place and were great. There was construction in the breezeway to the beach which was inconvenient. The sofa couch in our condo was awful. We opted to sleep on the sofa itself rather than pull out the mattress as the mattress was all coils and no cushion. Kitchen could use better pans, pots and knives but we didn't plan to cook much indoors so not a big deal. Our friends had issues with the night security guard threatening them and that wasn't cool. I would return. "
