Nice, clean and lots of space. Would recommend it to anyone. Right around the corner to the beach. The only thing I would suggest would be to update the couch."

"Easy access, ground floor room
Loved Village at the Beach and would stay there again. It was a 2.5 block walk to be the sand or a 3 minute drive to Whitecap Beach. We stayed in October. The property and surrounding neighborhood was quiet with seemingly low vacancy. The ocean was already chilly and the big pool was cold.
I’ve used Padre Escapes for booking several times but I was annoyed they lied to me about the walk-through inspection happening “right now and how lucky I was” and charged me $25 to check-in early when we were already there and knew the room was empty the night before. We tried to book the room an extra night after realizing we would be arriving early but couldn’t online or by phone. "

I have been with you guys almost 10-12 years. I am in the a customer service business. in the last 10-12 years I have never complained about the process nor the property but this time everything started from the day they ran my credit card with our my permission. Emily the manager who I know for a long time called me. being a manager is not just calling people and apologizing, its about finding a solution to take care of them. I will probably never go back to y'all again and I will let all my friend about the experience I had. I knew ahead of time my pets will cost this much I would have never brought them with me. I hope this comment will help your service in the future. "

"Our stay was okay.
The location to the beach is within walking distance. The pool and location in town is also nice.
Upon arrival the house had a moldy (not fresh and clean) smell. I am assuming it is the rug. There were cracker crumbs on the rug as well.
We stated in our rental details there were four people. Upon arrival we only had two towels. We sent a send save through the app as well as called for extra and none were received. Two hours later When I called back the agent wanted me to go to a different nearby location to pick up my extra requested towels. I explained to her that I had a huge problem with her asking me to do this and the towels arrived within 20 min after.
The flood light on the porch was angled right inside the front window. My husband saw a maintenance crew in the parking lot. He mentioned the light to them and instead of assisting to correct the problem, they allowed him to use their ladder to remove the bulb.
I would recommend for the rental to provide pool towels as well as shower items such as soap, shampoo, conditioner. I was not aware these items were not provided. It would be a nice gesture for those traveling in from out of town and not wanting wet towels to return home with. "

Nice clean rental. Small issues were handled very quickly and efficiently by Padre Escapes. Quiet area and loved how close we were to the beach. The furniture needs a little updating as the couch and chairs were uncomfortable after a bit. Owner might want to put in some additional storage in bath since there is very little. Overall condo was exactly what we expected. "

"Nice Location to Beach
We have stayed at this complex and always loved it. This was the first time at this unit which had a dirty area rug and worn out, stinky couch and chairs in the living room. We were surprised that it wasn't like previous stays. We had to spray around toilet base to get rid of stink but the remainder of the bath was fine. Other features of the unit were as expected and we would stay at complex again. Very quiet and good parking. So close to the beach!"

"Corpus Visit July 2022
Our vacation rental experience was very easy through the rental company, as the company was very organized and responsive in advance for check-in and check-out processes. The home was very clean and had the right amount of items needed for our stay. There were two areas for improvement: bathtub drainage and living room t.v. remote. For the bathtub, we had to take very quick showers and breaks between showers for our family of four because the tub did not drain properly and water would back up. For the t.v. remote, the select button did not work and made it almost impossible to use the living room t.v."

"What a great place
Nothing bad to talk about. The townhouse was perfect. The bed could be better a little more comfortable would been nice. But the whole house was beautiful and nice. So clean when we arrived. The pools are so nice too. Loved that even the adult pool had shallow areas for the kids 10 inches deep. Overall will be coming back again also nice that I can walk to the beach. "

This stay was amazing. The condo was perfect for 4 people. The condo had a very nice relaxing wall color and beach decor which made me feel very relaxed. The condo was very clean and big. The high ceilings made the area look huge. The parking space was right in front of condo. The pool was amazing and clean plus it stayed open very late. We had the perfect vacation. "

A good place to stay! My only complaints are that the living room rug is in need of being replaced, and the lights in the bathroom and bedroom need a different hue! Haha seems picky but the daylight light bulbs would make a HUGE difference."

"Labor Day Getaway 2021
We had a fantastic family getaway to Padre Island for Labor Day. The accommodations were very nice, clean, and spacious with plenty of room for two adults and three little children. The proximity to the beach is a plus, and the playground and pool areas were nice too. I will book another stay here in the future. "

"Not as nice as before
We’ve stayed at Village by the Beach many times and have always been impressed with the property. Not so much this time. The furniture was old and uncomfortable, the rug was dirty with stains and the mattress was very soft and squeaky. The sheets were so scratchy I felt like I was sleeping on sandpaper. Definitely in need of an upgrade. Overall we had a good time. Love the location, the beach and the pool but this unit is getting tired. Also I accidentally broke the coffee pot, called the management but it was never replaced. We like the reservation, check in and check out procedures but follow through on the coffee pot would have been nice. "

"North Padre Vacation
Love Padre Escapes, Jeremy & his staff are awesome. We used to have a condo that they managed before we sold. Now we go back and rent from them. Great unit, complex and parking. Very comfortable & quite inside of unit. It was furnished nicely and clean.
Great vacation, we have stayed with them several times.

"Village by the beach
This was our 4th time staying at Village by the beach . Upon arrival we found there were no bath towels or sheets for the pull out bed. We contacted Mgt who approximately 2 hours later dropped of two towels while we were gone ( 4 people in our party) we had to call again to get 2 more towels so everyone had their own. The mattress protector had what appeared to be blood stains. Many of the kitchen utensils were rusty , such as the can opener which rendered it nearly inoperable. The only bathtub in the house did not drain properly and would backup almost instantly, which would have been painfully obvious if cleaned with any amount of water. This visit did not meet the standards we had come to expect from our previous experience. I will explore other options when visiting the area next time. "

"Great place near the beach
Easy, comfy, spacious 1 bedroom place with convenient beach access and nice amenities. The pool was fantastic and heated as well. Overall an excellent experience. Would have been perfect if the had allowed pets like most of the other adjacent units, but unfortunately I got stuck with this one which did not allow pets."

Had a great stay. It was easy to get to and park, with two reserved parking spots. The place looked just like the photos. Check in and check out instructions were clear and easy to follow. I loved the swimming pool, babies for me, and how close it was to the beach."

"Fit our needs
Comfortable bed. Quiet at night. Noisy all day because of construction in complex behind. Nice TV. We had to go buy a roku stuck to access our accounts. Missing some kitchen supplies- they brought us more silverware and a potholder. A metal garbage can with a lid that works would be nice. A lid for one of frying pans. I don't understand the Padre Escape rules about having no basic supplies of anything- cleaning supplies would be nice, a few basic spices, oils. We just stayed at a place in Austin that had everything and that was so nice. We lived that this place allowed our two dogs but it would be nice to have the white fenced patio and a hose to decrease sand in the place and allow dogs to dry off. Also no beach supplies included. Other units we have stayed in supplied at least beach chairs. Access to a wonderful pool and barbecues but no barbecue utensils included with this unit. Had to buy them. Another unit we have stayed in in this complex supplied all this stuff. Wifi worked well. Temperature control good."

The condo was within easy walking distance of the beach and was well equipped for a long term stay. The heated pool was very nice and a good place to sit out of the wind when the weather was a little cool for the beach. We had a great time and would stay here again."

"Nice location and spacious unit.
Very comfortable unit. Only two issues we had was the coffee pot was never cleaned from prior occupants and was therefore full of moldy coffee grounds. And the bathroom lighting was incredibly dim so it was hard for me to see well enough to shave and very difficult for my wife to put on makeup. Other than those two things, the unit was comfortable and clean. "

"Village by the Beach Unit 920
We had a great time vacationing in this unit. I do have a few suggestions. It would be great if the owner would put in bunk beds in the alcove next to master bedroom. A comforter would be nice for the pull out couch bed. A few extra supplies like foil,plastic wrap,etc would have been handy in the kitchen. There needs to be a better way to hang towels in the bathroom. Maybe a hook on the back of the door. The closet could use a luggage rack and extra hangers.The master bedroom fan needs to be adjusted to a lower setting but you would need a ladder to do so.Other than that it was very comfortable and convenient."

My two children and I stayed two nights and enjoyed the condo and the lovely swimming pool thoroughly. The condo is comfortable, modern, tastefully decorated, and has a well-stocked kitchen for meal preps. It is close enough to the beach to walk, though we chose to take the car full of beach supplies. "

This is our second time staying at Village by the Beach and it will not be our last. The King size bed was awesome and we used the pull out sofa for our 2 children and it was surprisingly very comfortable. LOVE the pools and it is so convenient to walk to the beach! Super clean too! "The perfect beach home away from home!
Our 4 day stay was fantastic! The unit was super clean - kitchen was fully equipped, nice bathroom linens, extra pillows, lots of room to spread out. Parking for this unit is directly in front - which enables easy move in/out. Beach road access literally a block away - paved free beach parking lot just another couple blocks. I will definitely be back!!"

"Best Vacation get away!!
We would have loved to stay longer but we had to leave sometime!! We had an amazing time!!The condo was spotless, comfortable and nicely decorated. The pool was heated and kept so clean. We enjoyed meeting people at the pool and hanging out there. The location was perfect. It was a short walk to the beach and Padre Escapes staff were very easy to work with, professional and helpful. A short drive to the Island Restaurants. Best Texas food we ever had!! We cant pick a favorite becauae each one had GREAT food and so many choices!! We already booked our stay for next year!!!"

"Awesome place by the beach!
Our experience was great, we checked in just down the road from the townhouse, which took less than 5 minutes. I loved that we didn't need keys, we were just given a key code and we had two assigned parking spots which made is super convenient to load our things. The pool was very family friendly and clean, also had bathrooms and a shower in the pool area, the walk to the pool was literally a minute, if that! The beach was a short drive around the corner.
We usually stay in Port A, this was our first time to this area... This will be our new spot to visit and we will always use Padre Escapes!

"Summer fun
We had a great time at Padre and Village by the Beach. The unit was great and very new. It had everything we needed to fix our own meals and just relax. The unit is about a block from the beach with free parking if you don't want to walk. Pool was awesome with a resort type feel and nice to get in after the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much."

Very comfortable very clean everything thing was within reach. Very comfortable. The waterhose outside was very needed to rinse off sandy shoes, feet and dog. Tile floors are great no stinky carpet like in the hotels. The location was 3 min drive to beach. "
