"Relaxing at the beach
The condo was exactly as described and spotless. Kitchen had everything you could need. Bed and couch were comfy. It is on the third floor with a nice view. "

"Really close to the beach
Everything was fine except for the beds, they need to upgrade the mattress and also the sofabed was so so uncomfortable. Also the pool need maintenance is super super duty. But other then that house have everything you need for 4 people."

"Wonderful beach escape
The property and the unit were both very nice. My only complaint was the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable but then again are they ever? The kitchen had everything we needed, there was ample storage space, the bedroom bed was very comfy."

"Zen retreat at beachside condos
I have stayed at this condo simples many times. Zen retreat was my least favorite. The bed was super low, and supported by flat boards not a box spring and very uncomfortable. The coach was also very uncomfortable, small and short. And although we didn’t care to watch tv we were unable to get to work to view some news in the mornings. If the owners would upgrade the mattress and couch -then we might come again. "

"Zen Retreat
We were very happy with the condo location, and condition. The staff was responsive to all of our needs. The only issues we had was that both windows screens were bent and would not keep fly's and other bugs out. The bed was not real comfortable and really close to the floor. Also next year we would like to be allowed to forward our mail to the condo address, we found that many other renters were allowed to do this."

"Mold & Cold Hot Tub
As soon as we walked into the building the ceiling above was missing & the wood was moldy. The air vent right outside our room was missing the cover and the inside was covered in inches of dust and dirt. The inside of our room was nice and comfortable, but the air ducts were dirty. I'm allergic to mold so I had hives my entire stay. The hot tub was broke too.This place would be amazing with some maintenance."

The unit was nice and it was clean. It was in walking distance form the beach. The building we were in needed upkeep, especially in the stairwells. There was pieces of sheet rock missing from the ceiling in the stairwell. It was not something they were working on as we were there for thirty days and and nothing was done with it. It wasn’t a danger just not that applying as your coming and going. I would hope they will get that repaired at some point. When we go back to North Padre we would stay here again."

"Zen was Ok!
This property was ok. The Customer Service with (Property Management) was excellent. They communicated with us upon arrival, during our trip and at the conclusion of our trip.
Things with the property itself that need to be addressed are:
Stairwell outside of unit is in disrepair due to leaks, Carpet was not clean at all.
Dishwasher runs extremely loud.
Dryer had a knocking noise
Spigot was coming out of the wall in the bathroom.
Kitchen really needs a cutting board.
Ice Maker does not work and ice trays leaked.
Chairs on patio are cracked.
Doors stick and blinds on the back door are broken.
There was a report of a leak downstairs in the unit below. Not sure if coming from this room, but baseboards looked wet.
TV in living room works but the color appeared to be going out.
In spite of all these issues, the unit received a new bedroom mattress while we were there that made the stay better."

"Will not stay here again.
Very low quality, Walmart grade furnishings. Stove was very dirty and greasy. Towels are like sandpaper. Bring your own towels. Outside of fridge rusting. Will not stay here again."

"Renters Be Aware!!!!!!!
Easy to explain this one.Saw great pics online that made us want to rent this one. The place was beautiful and clean. When we got there it was nothing like the pics. Small,old, musty place. We ended up spending double because we went down the road to another place that would work for our family. We had to pay for this dump and the place we actually stayed. We never will rent from this company again......NEVER!"

"Get What You Pay For I Guess :(
Unit has a terrible musty moldy smell. Building is somewhat rundown and dirty. Unit could have been cleaner. Balcony banister is loose and I wouldn't trust it if you leaned on it. Wife could barely get the balcony door to close, hinge is pulling out of jamb. Garbage disposal was full of rotten food and had a terrible smell.
On the positive, unit was fully equipped and is close enough to the beach.
Beach is tight and kind of dirty. Was my first time to Corpus and it is far from a beach town feel.
Overall would not stay in this unit again, or the facility in general for that matter. Pretty poor experience."

"Zen Retreat Corlus Christi
The rental unit itself was beautiful and clean. It was spacious and we had everything we needed. The location was perfect.The only downside was I ou have to enter a building and go upstairs to get to unit. This was filthy with nasty carpets that hadn't been vacuumed in months. I was afraid our unit would be the same but once inside it was spotless. Pool facility was also clean and well kept "

"Great Vaca by the Gulf
Had a wonderful time meeting such friendly local Texans & Winter Texans! It was so nice being just a few minutes walk to the beach & whitecaps of the gulf.
The pool & hot tub provided not only relaxation but a means of visiting & getting to know the other residents. The fitness center was also appreciated as well as the convenience of in suite laundry!"

"Nice unit, trouble with entry code
The unit was nice and clean. I recommend putting an extra lamp in the living room since there are no overhead lights and it is dark in there at night.
I had trouble with the entry code not working when I arrived and had to call to get it reset, then the day I left, the entry code expired an hour early and locked me out. I didn’t have my phone with me but fortunately my parents were staying in a nearby unit so I was able to call. Otherwise I would have been in trouble since the office was closed. Something needs to be fixed with with entry code system."

"Just a little beach time
We’ve been going to the Texas coast for years. I’ve seen these condos and thought they looked perfect. They are in a perfect location. Easy walk to the beach. Parking was our only issue. You are assigned one space close to your rental. We drive a Suburban and our space was across from a curb and between two other vehicles making it quite difficult to park. Only option given was to use guest parking by the pool. It turned out fine since we happened to time it when the other cars were gone. "

"Perfect Place
This is the perfect place to stay! It was very clean and just enough space. The closet was huge and the bed was very comfortable. You had a view of the ocean, lake and pool area! We can’t wait to come back!"

"Not quite as Zen as the pictures
Was happy to find this at the last minute for a holiday weekend. It is close to the beach but you are not going to hear the waves from the porch. The property is 30 years old and the carpeting in the common area hallway may be original. The AC is very noisy and the kitchen is very small. It was very clean inside but the outside windows needed to be cleaned. Pool area very nice and checkin and checkout was a breeze."

"Family Spring Break trip to Texas
My family and I had a great experience! The condo was perfect for my and our two kids. Even with all the extra luggage they brought for a week long stay we never felt cramped. The large walk-in closet was a great for storing all the suitcases. Location was great as well. It was a short walk to the beach and there were plenty places to eat within minutes of the condo. My only issue was the parking was tight. "

our rental property was everything they promoted. we knew it was 3rd floor, but that became a chore after 6 weeks. we had three issues that we brought to the attention of (Property Management) (ice machine quit, dog poop in the hallway. and a sparking outlet). None of this was something they could anticipate, but all issues were resolved before the end of day."

"Unhappy Stay
I arrived for a job. I found out right away that the job was only for 3 weeks instead of 2 months. Notified office immediately. Asked for management to call me right away. Never did after 3 calls. I was trying to talk with management to work with me on a partial refund due to job not lasting. Paid in full 2500.00. Got nothing but runaround from office. Long story short I lostc1250.00 on this condo. Will never pay upfront again. Wasnt like it was busy season and wasn't asking for full refund. I work at this plant about 4 times a year. Will never stay again. Inside of building needs work. Condo in bath above fun needs work. Washer could use replacing.

"Did not meet expectations
There were a few too many pre-check in communications (emails, app I was supposed to download, back and forth on the contract) but the actual check in was very smooth. The place was as expected - small but functional and very close to the beach. The unit, however, was not as clean as we expected. We noticed several stray hairs - presumably from a previous guest and had a gigantic cockroach. More disappointingly, the pool at the venue was disgusting. There was a scummy foam floating in it. We selected this place so we could have a combo of beach and pool time and pool time was eliminated. We left a day early on our 3 day stay."

" The space was perfect for our family!
We loved the property. It was perfect for our family of 4. It was very clean and had everything we needed to cook. The washer and dryer were great too. I was able to get all of our laundry done before we left to come home so that I could enjoy the last two days of my vacation at home without piles of laundry to do and I left the sand at the beach! The staff was a blessing and check in and out was so easy. Overall it was a great experience! Thank you for your commitment to making everything so easy! Literally no stress!"

"Very relaxing stay
We ended up adding on an extra 2 days because we were having such a great time! The condo was the perfect size for my husband and I, any more people would have been a little too crowded. I loved the atmosphere and decor, and the balcony was so nice to relax on. We were please with the common area which included a sauna, fitness center, and family room with puzzles and books to play with. And the pool/spa area was great, well kept, and nobody was ever too loud or obnoxious out there. A little added bonus were the movie collection and a couple of games we found in the condo! Coming home from a long day at the beach to a good movie is always great. In all we were very satisfied with our stay. I do want to mention though, we were surprised to realize that this is a 3rd floor condo with no elevator. Being 6 months pregnant it was a little bit tiring, but it's always good to get some excercise lol"

"We Loved It!
Not out first time using (Property Management) and this is our 3rd stay at Beach Club. This is our new favorite unite. Extremely clean and modernized unit. We had a small issue with the kitchen sink but propert MGMT/(Property Management) handled before we could change for our afternoon beach trip. Great place and exactly what we needed for my small family.
(Property Management) is top notch. This is a great alternative to AirBNB. They offer a variety of locations, price ranges and resorts. "

"Corpus Retreat
We had a nice stay in Corpus. The condo was very nice. Enjoyed the evening seabreezes on the balcony. Parking was somewhat problematic largely due to small spaces and so many HUGE pickups, so picked up a door ding. Also unit was third floor and was challenging... but built up our endurance! Short walk to the beach. Overall a positive experience."

"Cute and Convenient
The condo was just as pictured. Super cute and clean. Just a 10 minute walk to the beach and close to several restaurants.
I always dread staying in condos due to noise from neighbors and the outside but that was not an issue here. We had tons of neighbors but did not hear a peep!
This condo is great for adults but I would not recommend it for little ones. The very beautiful floor creaked when you walked on it which woke up our kiddo quite often. But if you do not have a sleeping toddler to worry about it is perfect!
Also, there was a very distinct mildew smell. But I kind of assume that will be the case for most vacation rentals so close to the ocean. We did not mention it to property management. And I am sure if we had they would have tried to accommodate us some how.
The property management team was very responsive, professional and extremely nice.
We would definitely book with this group again! "

"Great little place!
This condo was great for two people. The condo was very clean and welcoming. Close to the beach, just a short walk away. The only downside was the parking space are very small and yes, it is on the third floor. If you don't mind, it's perfect for you!"

"Needs Work
We were excited to stay in the property based on the pictures we'd seen. We arrive pretty late - after 10pm and when we walked into the unit we were hit with a very strong musty smell.I'm very allergic to mold/mildew so I did not have a good first night. We informed PadreEscapes who quickly got us into a much nicer unit. They handled all of this very well and saved our vacation. The unit has possibilities once they fix the HVAC/Mildew issue. "

"Great place But!!
When we rented this place we had no idea it was on the third floor. No elevator. Luckily for us, we were able to walk up and down the three flights of stairs. Unfortunately, if someone couldn't walk up stairs they would have not enjoyed their vacation. The rental was clean, and the view great. "
