"Great House!
The condo has a favorable location in the town; although it is not directly in front of the beach, it is close to the avenue that leads to the beach. Additionally, there is a gas station and supermarket nearby.
There is a patio in the back that connects with the pool and playground; that's pretty cool.
Bring your own towels for the beach and for taking a shower; even when the capacity is 10, there are 2 towels per room. I don't know if you can request more; we went out early and came back late. Also, bring salt, coffee, sugar, oil, and everything else you need to cook and shampoo, as the instructions say.
The price was good, and the beds and furniture were comfortable, so we'll be happy to be back.
No complaint at all. "

Was very satisfied with the home. Very clean and great access to pool. Beds were very comfortable but also a little hard to get on for an older person due to the height. Overall would rent again. Was exactly what was advertised. Close to beach and not far from fun trackers."

"CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE
This was our first time staying together in a rental. We loved staying poolside because of the kids. They enjoyed it so much. But most important for us was that it was clean and comfortable. I absolutely recommend this property."

"Wish it was better.
30 minutes Before we arrived I got a call that the washer was broken. Completely understand that stuff happens however that is not why I am upset. I get a call Sunday that the washer is broken and was told I would be updated by Sunday evening. Monday comes still no call. I call and speak with maintenance and was told someone would not come look at washer till Tuesday evening. Tuesday evening comes we were told it was a small part that he might have back at the shop. Was never updated after that. Wednesday comes and we desperately need to wash and couldn’t never received call on when it would be fixed I was told I would get a call I call again and wanted to speak to management to see if we could get a small refund due to this inconvenience. We specifically booked a condo with a washer because we did not pack enough clothes for our entire stay. We paid over $3,000 and aside from everything else that we enjoyed this was just a huge inconvenience. We called management again and was told she was out of her office and we would get a call back and we never did. We felt we were not cared about as stated on your website and all over papers we received. This was our 3rd year booking with padre escapes and this was by far the worst year. "

"Great Week!!
Spacious and clean. Perfect location for access to the pool and play area. Adults and kids alike loved it.
Easy loading and unloading.
The office was great and answered my questions the two times I called in. The reservation process was quick and easy, as was the process to make a change.
I will definitely use (Property Management) for future vacation rentals.
My only suggestion would be to secure the pool and splash pad area to insure only guests are using it."

"Family vacation
We've stayed several times on Padre Escape Condos. First time disappointed,huge groups kept us along with several other families unable to enjoy the pool area for several hours not to mention my grand dters were were attacked and beaten by a group of older girls. For the money dpent our family vacation was the worse one yet in 15yrs."

"Very dirty
I’ve stayed at this house before and this time it was very dirty. The carpet on the stairs had actual food on it. Filthy stairs. The whole house was filthy the floors were sticky. Both bathroom faucets Hardly had any water coming out of it. It’s a very nice house it just needs some maintenance and they need to clean it. We moved the couch because my son dropped his sock and omg there was food down there and old drink bottles that weren’t ours. We pay a cleaning fee,So there shouldn’t be an excuse."

I never was able to secure WiFi, kept losing signal and when I called the property management, they told me I could use the neighbor WiFi. That’s not secure either, I was not able to stay on WiFi. The property was very clean and nice. "

The rental was clean, fully equipped, in great condition and they were responsive pretty much immediately when the lock on the front door didn’t work correctly. There was more than enough room for eight people. The pool was very nice."

Could not have asked for anything more! New, clean, beautiful and very nicely furnished. The bedrooms were all good sized and we appreciated having 3 king beds. Perfect having a second bath on the second floor. When we called for maintenance on the a/c after hours, the technician called back immediately, and 15 minutes later was fixing it. The outdoor pool area is beautiful — just as pictured: clean with plenty of nice furniture and a gentle waterfall in the pool that sparkles in the sunlight. "

"Girls Weekend
The property was very clean and the home was nice and clean as well. The pool was not what I expected at all. Very small and very kid friendly. We were looking more for adult friendly. If you are going with your family, this would be a nice place. After receiving no less than five text messages. We extended our stay one night and the next day received a call from the Resort (very rude lady) the next day saying we overstayed our reservations. Didn't care that I had spoken to her office regarding the extension."

"Great Beach Nearby!
The Pros:
It is a comfortable space and I love the backyard that has a patio that also opens up to a playskape/pool area. It looks like a fairly new build, which means new appliances, countertops, etc.
Also had TVs in the rooms and in the living rooms which was nice to have. There is one room downstairs and two upstairs which worked perfectly for us.
Cons:
There is some wear and tear on the carpeting on the stairs, but you can look beyond that.
The bed, for some reason wasn't a comfortable sleep at all...I'm not sure if it's the mattress or maybe the mattress cover, but I woke up with my back hurting both nights I was there.
The bathroom was clean, but the upstairs shower drain's stopper kept coming out and the water wasn't draining very well. These things are minor and can hopefully be fixed."

"GREAT WEEKEND
There were only 2 small pots in the kitchen. I think there probably was a bigger pot in the set & either someone took it home or to another condo? Or burnt the pot so bad they threw it out? The other weird thing was our bed frame I think it was loose in the joints, could fall apart? Upstairs to the left bedroom.
The beds were to high for an older person to climb. Maybe a step stool.

Wonderful beds and very clean rooms. Glasses in the kitchen closet were broken and turned to hide the damage. I assume this was done by previous visitors. There was an insufficient number of pans in the kitchen to cook a meal of any size, and the sitting room did not have a coffee table, which meant hot drinks had to be constantly held."

Great place to stay! The kiddy pool and small playground are perfect for families with kids! The location is in a very private place, no through traffic. We had a boat that we parked on the street and felt safe doing so. We plan on staying here again!"

"Perfect condo for our family
We visited for 4 nights: grandparents with grown son and daughter-in-law, plus three kids, ages 8, 5 and 1. The layout was great for us, with one bedroom and bathroom downstairs and the other two upstairs. The little playground, picnic area, and pool were right outside our backdoor, which was very convenient. Only one evening was it a little loud outside past "bedtime". The condo was spotless and in great shape, with the exception of a little problem with the refrigerator -- which was fixed in a timely manner. The location was also very convenient to a nice public beach, maybe 1-2 miles by car. Everyone had a great time!"

"Mixed feelings
Everything was perfect except for the pool situation. You could definitely tell there were no securities in place to keep non guests from using the pool. On our last day there were two transients (grown men) that were in the pools with their clothes on. I reported this and no from your management called me back."

"Great Place To Stay For A Family Vacation
The place was spacious and fully furnished. We didn't need to bring anything other than our beach towels and food to eat (really for a family of five there is more to bring, but you know what I mean ;). The backdoor leads out toward the playground and pool area. It is located in a great spot, so getting around wasn't bad. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again."
