Ideally situated along the El Cortecito strip in the heart of Punta Cana (Bavaro), within short walking distance to everything; internet cafe, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy, cash exchange, ATM, bakery, casino, gym and spa. Within a 5 minute drive to the Palma Real Shopping Village. 10 golf courses within a 5 to 30 minute drive.

This vacation condo is located in building 'O' of Playa Turquesa, which while being within the community is only steps from the beautiful white sandy beaches of the Dominican Republic. Once inside this condo, you'll be treated by the wonderful decor and appointments reminiscent of that 'picture perfect' tropical getaway. This is a two bedroom penthouse condo offering accommodations for the whole family. Everything you need for your vacation and more can be found within this luxurious condo. The master bedroom is en-suite, with its very own private bathroom, and there is an additional full bathroom off the kitchen adjacent to the laundry area. All Playa Turquesa condos offer elevator access and a reverse-osmosis water filtration system. Each unit comes equipped with multi-zone central air conditioning and dual-pane windows.


PAYMENT TERMS:

• 50% deposit required to confirm booking - Air 100%
• 100% required 30 days prior to arrival.
• Payment with Credit Card - Visa, MasterCard, Discover - through our secure website.

TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM AIRPORT:

• If you need transportation to your rental property, we can send a trusted driver with a van to pick you up.

• The rate is US $35 one way for 4 passengers. There is room for up to 6 passengers with suitcases per taxi. US$5 extra per passenger.

• You pay the driver directly and keep his number for future transportation needs during your stay.

ELECTRICITY IS EXTRA AND BASED ON CONSUMPTION:

• The Dominican Republic is a developing country and it has it's challenges in regards to cost effective electricity distribution. Therefore, to encourage renters to conserve electricity during their stay, they will be responsible for electricity charges during their stay. Also, this allows us to offer lower rates since we do not have to include more $$$ per night to take electricity consumption into consideration.

• We collect an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT IN CASH UPON ARRIVAL. It is just a DEPOSIT, real consumption calculated at the end of your stay and deducted from the CASH DEPOSIT PAID UPON ARRIVAL. See deposit requirements below.

• Normal consumption is $5-10 per day for a 1 & 2 bedroom

RENTALS LESS THAN 30 DAYS: We require an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT (CASH ONLY-UPON ARRIVAL) of US$20 PER NIGHT for 1 & 2 BDR's CONDOS

The electricity meter will be read at check-in and check out. The meter can be self monitored daily. You will be charged at the current rate and deducted from the cash deposit. The difference will be returned to you on the day of departure.

A Reservation can be cancelled up to sixty-one (61) days prior to the arrival date and one hundred percent (100%) of the deposit will be refunded, minus the reservation fee of $50 and the cancellation fee of US$150. If cancelled between thirty-one (31) days and sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date, fifty percent (50%) of the deposit will be refunded, less the reservation and cancellation fees. There are no refunds for reservations cancelled within thirty (30) days of the arrival date. Any refunds on payments made using a credit card or PayPal will also have an additional 5% deducted from the original paid amount. Cancelled Reservations without proper notice will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit unless another reservation for the rental unit can be secured. Sub-letting is not permitted.

"Lacks Care
Our unit lacked lighting and the oven button and handle were broken and the oven didn’t work. Light bulbs were missing or had died throughout the apartment and needed to be replaced. Had to climb the bed to turn the ceiling fan on and off. Our unit didn’t have a water cooler unit to place the jug of water in which was disappointing since you can’t drink the running water! There was only ONE cover/umbrella shade at the pool! On a hot day and being light skinned, I had to pull a chair under the palm trees and then told later by security to move. People put their towels on the chairs and walked away with no consideration of others that might want to use the ONE shaded cover to relax. They charge $30 for any missing beach towel and they were all shabby. Thankfully we brought our own. Make an appointment with the staff ahead of time to check your unit upon departure and be sure they come to the unit. Mine was waiting for me downstairs after my taxi had arrived and we had to go back up and give the details about the apartment and settle the electrical cost. Overall the grounds were kept clean. No swim up bar. Beach had lots of seaweed. Lots of good restaurants in the area to eat from. The food and drinks at the beach restaurant were amazing. The owner at the souvenir shop outside the gate was very friendly and helpful. Go there to book your excursions.

"Pleasant stay at Playa Turquesa
The property is nice and well maintained. The beach is wide, with palm trees and also well maintained.The beach area is large and we never had a problem finding chairs at the perfect location. We liked having a condo on the 4th floor, better view and breeze. The furnishings in the condo and the kitchen equipment are not high end but adequate for a vacation. The WIFI is slow and not the best but sufficient for what is required when on vacation. Would stay again."

"February 2017 Condo O401
We stayed for 2 weeks in February in O401. The condo is located above the pool and is handy to the restaurants and grocery store.

There were a couple of things that were disappointing. First no BBQ. Second was there were lots of mosquitoes after dark and there were no screens on any windows or doors.

I would recommend Playa Turquesa but I would not return to this condo for the reasons above."

"Better than expected!
My husband and I and our two children (ages 6 and 10) absolutely loved our time here! The condo was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed. The kids loved the pools (there were times when they had the pool all to themselves!) and we loved that we could always find a lounge chair available at the pool or beach when we wanted one. I was a bit concerned at first that there were no screens on any windows, but we didn't see a single mosquito while we were there. May be more of a concern during the mosquito season as it does get stuffy quickly with the windows closed. The complex was within walking distance to grocery, restaurants, and the excursions we booked so we thought the location was perfect. And we took a walk up and down the beach and definitely felt like we had the best stretch of beach right in front of Playa Turquesa!"
