This spectacular property has an amazing lanai with incredible ocean breezes. Enjoy outdoor dining for 4 & 2 chaise lounge chairs for relaxation. The spacious lanai is very private and has views of the Banyan's Surf Break (one of the best surf spots on the Big Island)! Watch spinner dolphins, breaching whales (seasonally), amazingly breath-taking sunsets (year round) and keep an eye out for those mesmerizing "Green Flashes" as the sun sets below the horizon line! Turtles rest in tide pools along the shoreline - some even come up on land!

Enjoy the feeling of an open floor plan.. The Master Bedroom opens into the Living Room by Sliding Doors that can close off for privacy as necessary. Also enjoy the convenience of walking out to your incredible lanai from the Master Bedroom! AIR CONDITIONING WALL UNIT IN THE MASTER BEDROOM ONLY! King Sized Bed In the Master that has it's own private bathroom. Enjoy a walk-in shower in the master bathroom that has a hand-held shower head...a shower stool was installed as well! Marble Vanity Top.

The Living Room has comfortable furnishings, and indoor dining for 4 as well. A 29 inch television for entertainment in the Living Area.

The Guest bedroom has a comfortable Queen Sized Bed, and guests staying in this bedroom can access their own 2nd bathroom.
A solid vanity top with a chrome faucet was installed in the guest bath with a tub/shower combination.

The Kitchen: Fully equipped to have everything a renter could need on their Vacation.
Enjoy a new counter top and mosaic back splash and a granite composite sink with pull-down faucet with Turbo Spray. There's tile flooring from the entry, hallway into kitchen and into both bathrooms.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made ninety (90) days or more prior to arrival shall not be responsible for the final balance of the reservation. The $200 deposit made at the time of booking is non refundable after the booking is made. Cancellations of less than ninety (90) days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and excise tax (less cleaning fees) unless we are able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows.

"Beautiful location to watch and hear the surf
Enjoyed watching the surfers straight off the balcony and loved hearing the pounding waves 24 hours/day! No stores or restaurants within walking distance but easy to get to by car. "

"Amazing View
This condo is right on the ocean and has a spectacular view. The sunsets were awesome and we loved watching the surfers right from the lanai. Parking is very convenient on the first level of the building. The full kitchen was great for making meals and having a washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient. Plenty of extra towels and beach towels were provided. Unit was very clean when we arrived. Beach chairs, cooler, snorkeling gear were also provided. Closest beach was a mile away. However, you can find spots to lay out in the sun on the property. Most of oceanfront is lava, but there are a few sandy spots and some tide pools. Unit is a little outdated, but that isn’t a big deal it’s still nice. "

"Great Condo
This condo was ideal for us. It was very clean and fresh, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the surfers right in front of us. January is a great time to whale watch; we saw some from our lanai. I would definitely stay here again."

"Lovely Lanai
The rental was somewhat dated and the second bedroom was very basic. There were no beach chairs. Having said that the Lanai was lovely and looked directly over the ocean. We watch whales breach and the surfers every morning."

"The BEST Ocean Front View!
We really enjoyed our stay at Kona Bali Kai. The ocean is so close that you can hear the waves crashing. We watched the surfers daily while drinking coffee on the lanai. The condo was a perfect size for my husband and me, and we cooked most of our meals there."

"Unbeatable view
The best thing about this place was the view!! The second bedroom was toward the road & was hard to leave the window open for the air movement. We bought a fan that did help. The air-conditioner didn't work that well & was very shocking that it was on a timer!! The place seemed smaller than I thought it would be but there was a lot of extras like snorkel gear & a cooler which was great! The rental company was really good about letting me know ahead of time of some scheduled maintenance (bug spray). "

"Loved this property!
2nd time at this property and it did not disappoint! We spent 3 glorious weeks and had everything we needed in this condo! All personnel were friendly. Enjoyed the pool and the beach. Great place to sit on lanai and watch surfers. Wonderful location to the rest of the island. We will visit again!"

"Comfortable condo with beautiful direct oceanfront location
We really enjoyed our stay at Kona Bali Kai #204. You can see the ocean as soon as you step in the door. Both the living room and the master bedroom have large sliding doors with screens leading out to the lanai, with the ocean directly in front. The ocean breezes were wonderful, no need for air conditioning, and the views were spectacular. We enjoyed relaxing on the lanai, watching the surfers. We also enjoyed exploring the coastline, lots of tide pools and frequent turtle sightings, also saw whales and dolphins. The condo was comfortable - beds and bathrooms were in good condition, appliances worked well (we especially appreciated the laundry machines). It was also very clean and well-kept. Communication with the property managers was great from the time we made the rental reservation - check-in and check-out were smooth. We would recommend this rental property, we had a great stay here."

"Vacation stay
The rental unit has a fantastic oceanfront view and the location was a short drive to restaurants and shopping. It was a quiet location. The unit was clean and appliances were in good working order. Overall, the unit was outdated and needs remodeled. The furniture was old with a worn out and uncomfortable couch that had holes in the cushions. There were minimal items in the unit so we had to buy trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap. It was not communicated to us that we needed to provide these items so it would have been helpful to know in advance. We had to go to the store to stock up on these items which was an additional, unexpected cost to us. The property was average and the central trash receptacle was continually overflowing. It appeared some remodeling was going on around the property with old furniture stacked near the designated smoking area. Ample parking is available but many locals park in the garage during the spring day so we couldn’t park close or in the designated parking space for our unit. We will explore other rental options for future vacations."

"Wonderful experience and great value for Kona Oceanfront!
Had a wonderful time in this unit ... awesome value for oceanfront Kona! The view was spectacular, and I like how the palm trees perfectly frame the sunset yet provide a bit of shade from the midday sun ... nice planning!

The place was nicely furnished, well cared for, and squeaky clean. I can’t think of anything it lacked. I especially enjoyed the grounds which I felt were extremely under-utilized by the residents. The complex commands a large frontage along the ocean and there are many places to sit alone and contemplate life and enjoy the view and sounds. I also enjoyed watching the surfers on the nearby break. A splendid setting for a peaceful vacation. And the Poke Shack on premise to grab wonderful lunches? What more could you ask for ...

I really enjoyed the morning runs on Ali’i Drive, falling to sleep to the sound of the waves against the shoreline, watching dreamy sunsets from the Lanai, central location to shopping, restuarants,a new lots of things to do, and the peaceful setting.

The management company did a fine job it administering all aspects of the reservation and follow-through. I will seek them out next time I am looking to vacation in the area.

"Kona Bali Kai #204
Great view from lanai, staff very responsive to repair leak under kitchen sink and reestablish lost tv signal. Property in need of thorough cleaning, repair/replacement needed for multiple items (broken hair dryer and kitchen utensils, closet doors and sliding glass doors that are difficult or impossible to move). Refrigerator operates well, but is rusty and unsightly. Very outdated property. Only half of bedroom closets are accessible. We inadvertently left clothing items in one of the closets, but were told they were not there. Very disappointed with this property and would not return, nor would I recommend it to anyone else."
