If you cancel more than 45 days prior to your scheduled arrival date (60 days prior to arrival for monthly rentals), the reservation downpayment will be returned, minus a $100 cancellation fee. For example, if a $300 downpayment was paid, you will receive $200 dollars back.

If you cancel within 45 days of arrival (60 days prior to arrival for monthly rentals), there will be no refund unless we are able to re-rent the property for some or all of the time you committed to and refunds may be less than the actual revenue paid. We apologize, but properties are hard to re-rent, as many people make bookings far in advance.

For reservations made within 45 days of arrival (60 days prior to arrival for monthly rentals), payment is due in full at time of booking in order to confirm the reservation, and the cancellation policy as stated above will apply. A cancellation becomes effective from the date that it is received in writing, fax or e-mail.

"Very nice appartment.
We spent the entire month of May in 706, to our complete satisfaction. App. is well equipped and there is nothing missing in our eyes so all praise. Next year we will definitely return to Canal House. Again perfectly arranged by Captain Cook as we have been used to for all those years.

"Apartment was great...but check in and check out sucked
My employer rented one of the Captain Cook apartments for me to live in during my one month trip to Hawaii. I'll say that the accomodations were perfect for one person, with all the amenities I needed. The kitchen and bathroom were also stocked with supplies of disposables so I didn't have to run to the grocery store for TP the day I arrived Unfortunately, the check in and check out processes were unorganized, and overall left me with a bad impression of the company. I have double and triple checked the reservation confirmation that was sent to me by Captain Cook, confirming my arrival and departure dates. Despite this, when I arrived at 11 PM on a Sunday, never having been in Hawaii, the property manager was unprepared, thinking I was arriving the following day. I had to wait 45 min for him to arrive. At that timed we reviewed my check out date so there wouldn't be a repeat. One week before checking out I called AGAIN to review my check out date. Despite this, I got calls from the apartment manager and the main office the day BEFORE I was supposed to check out, saying that the cleaning service had keyed in and found my items there. The manager actually sounded annoyed that I was not checked out, despite him being told multiple times that it was a different date. Overall i'm glad I didn't need management for anything else during my stay."

Enjoyed the apartment and loved the new appliances! The location is perfect if you want the quiet side of Waikiki and close to the bus stops and Kapahulu. Would definitely recommend!"

PROS: location, parking, W/D, cool breeze, mountain & canal views, helpful manager.
CONS: small, not clean, bathroom is very small & dirty, sink & tub clogged, bedroom practically no window, uncomfortable beds & furniture, cigarette smoke from neighbors, noisy. "
