"Lovely updated and great location
We had a great time staying for a week in May. The washer and drier in the unit are a huge help. Also we liked how updated the kitchen and baths are! Another bonus is each bedroom has its own private attached bath. The location is close enough to walk or bike to the Beach Club and easily bike-able to South Beach. "

"Overall decent property in good location
The property needs a deep clean and some attention to detail. The fridge leaks a lot of water from the bottom left corner. The screen door is not attached and falls off. The sliding door to the patio does not lock. The unit smelled like urine upon entering. Bikes were in decent condition as were beach chairs, a couple were old though. Bathrooms are very small. Overall a good property but could use attention to detail."

"Good but not great
Overall it was a decent rental but a few issues made it less appealing. The unit could benefit from a deep clean (dirty vents, dishes, bathrooms as well as a lot of bugs). One of the bikes was broken but we were able to get that easily resolved. Location is okay but not great. The pool is a 15 to 20 minute bike ride but the Beach Club is close."

"Great Family Home with access to everything in Sea Pines
The house was perfect for ourselves, adult children and young grandchildren. Each bedroom had their own bathroom, kitchen was very updated, nice patio backing up to the golf course. The bikes were in great condition. It is an easy ride to the Sea Pines Beach Club, Harbour Town, and South Beach! We will be back!"

"Wonderful Villa for a Hilton Head adventure!
This villas was perfect for our family's recent holiday visit. It was completely updated with a fully stocked kitchen. The central location within Sea Pines was close to all of our favorite places. It was very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. We would love to stay there again on our next trip!"

"Our 6 week stay at 53 Woodbine
This was our 2nd stay at this villa and we still just love it! It’s modern, bright, and roomy. The location is ideal- so close to Atlantic Dunes driving range, the ocean , and all the restaurants near the Marriott Monarch. The property Mgr response to small problems ( a ceiling leak) was excellent and solved quickly. We would love to have a bigger patio like the other villas beside us, that’s really the only downfall of this location. Other side comment is that the refrigerator water filter needs to be changed- the light was blinking during this most recent stay as well as our stay in Feb"

"Review of 53 Woodbine Villas visit
Overall the accomodations were fine.
Furniture was good, accomodations clean and kitchen well stocked.
Two recommendations:
first, I would recommend the owners move the kingbed to the downstairs bedroom. All bathrooms were small so there is no advantage to having the master upstairs.
Second, the Villa maintenance team desperately needs to clean the outside grill area and remove the leaves.
The rental company was extremely helpful when there was a mixup on the dates printed on our parking passes.

"February 4 week stay
Absolutely loved the villa, the decor, and location. We loved it so much that we booked it for a fall visit as well as next spring. So close to the beach as well as Plantation Club and Sea Pines restaurants. The villa does have a heating/ cooling problem with the upstairs but we solved it by closing all of the vents upstairs. The kitchen needs additional supplies, such as a broiler pan, 13x9 pans, and bigger serving bowls for pasta plus other items. The cleaning crew needed to clean the thick dust on the ceiling fan in the main living area. The refrigerator needed new filters. The property has a grill but it was stored away- would like to be able to use it. Would be nice to have a small chair in the master bedroom. The property Mgr. does respond well to any needs. "

"Future Vacation Spot
We loved living here for nearly 1 month and would go back in a heartbeat. Very clean and nice updated design made us feel right at home.
Management was quick to answer when we needed a tool for our child’s bike cart and we loved the proximity to the beach club. "

This was out first trip to Hilton Head. As a professional home stager this villa was spot on. Charming, beach feel, very comfortable and very well thought out. The convenience of having bikes was a bonus. It’s been 35 years since we ride bikes & we had a blast every morning riding on the beach. Can’t wait to bring out adult kids back here. Highly recommend !!!"

"HHI Vacation @ 53 Woodbine
The villa is tastefully decorated and a five-minute bike ride to Sea Pines Beach Club. It was nice to have four bikes and (almost new) beach backpack chairs included. The walk-in showers were handy coming in from the beach. The furniture was comfortable and overall we thought the villa was nice. This is the second villa in this complex we've stayed in, in the last two years.
Note that the coffee maker is a classic, one cup Keurig. We asked about the coffee maker and what type of filters to buy but no one replied. If you like a hard bed, you will be fine staying here but we had to buy two memory foam mattress toppers for the king bed upstairs to get comfortable. The queen downstairs is a little softer. There are no curtains on the sliding glass doors so golfers or landscapers can see in the Villa. A couple of rugs would have been nice because the floors are all hard and bare. There is no DVD/Bluray player if you or your children want to watch a movie.

"Family weekend getaway
We stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday. The condo was in a perfect location and was very clean. The girls enjoyed biking around and to the beach. We will definitely be back!"

Great experience. Nice updated unit and centrally located on sea pines. Very comfortable stay and i wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others. Only recommendation to owner is to include some sort of area to wash off outside of the unit to limit sand getting in. Other than that, I can't wait to go back!"

Condo was very recently renovated and the owners did a great job. Just beautiful. Condo is well located so that you can easily walk to the magnificent beaches and ride the bike trails from the house. "

"Good Condo Close to Beach!
Great Location but the kitchen is dated and the appliances need to be replaced. I would rate this as a fall back property but if it is renovated it would definitely be my top choice. Island Rentals is by far the "Best Rental Company on the Island"! I will always continue to use them as my go Hilton Head vacation source."

"Quiet, relaxing location
The condo had plenty of space for a family of 5 and dog. Beach access was just a few minutes away. Most amenities—bikes, pool chairs, grill, wifi and TVs—were great! It would be a better spot if the beds and pillows were updated (compared to today's hotels)."

"Great Location needs TLC
The most positive things about this villa is the location. It's definitely dated & needs an overall upgrade especially the patio area. Being that it is for sale it's doubtful that will happen in the near future. Being dog friendly it's not as clean as it should be, the floors were filthy but since I travel with a dog I always bring a Swiffer with me. Housekeeping needs to step it up because dishes were put away dirty & there was human hair in with the utensils. There are bikes on the front lock was found but they appear safe where they are stored. The AC worked great, the front door lock is a pain only locking about half the time. Although I wouldn't choose this particular unit again I will use the rental company next year as I had a better experience with them than in past years with VRBO."

We loved our stay at 53 Woodbine Villas! Set back on the golf course, deep in Sea Pines, we felt right at home. The condo is surprisingly big. Two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. The provided bikes were fantastic for riding to the beach and the rest of sea pines. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "

"PERFECTLY LOCATED COMFORTABLE VILLA
We loved the golf course view and the beautiful Sea Pines location of this villa. Furniture was comfortable but the mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced before it is rented again. The appliances worked but knob on the dryer was missing. UNFORTUNATELY, the unit is in need of a very deep clean and an entire paint job. Carpet was spotted and dirty all over. Property manager offered to have the carpet cleaned for us with a days notice and said unit was to be deep cleaned soon. But in looking at the woodwork and behind the bed, dressers and nightstands it couldn't have been cleaned in a number of years. IF THIS UNIT WERE CLEANER we would gladly rent it again in the future.

"Great location, bikes included!
We were happy with our stay. The rental is in a great location, quick bike ride to the Beach Club or Salty Dog. We loved that bikes were included with the rental as well since everything was in biking distance. We felt very safe with the location and love the keyless entry. The rental was in good condition, furniture was nice, they could use new carpet and paint but if you get past those minor things you will be good to go! The rental appeared very clean, my only complaint and 1 thing that turned me off was that I found a pair of boxer briefs under a towel in the linen closet... clean or dirty I’m not sure but not a fun surprise when you are looking for an extra bath towel. The management company was excellent. I would highly recommend booking through them, very helpful and professional! "

"Sea pines escape
The condo was spacious, but not very updated. We had an issue with some garbage that was promptly tended to. No hair dryers at all. Beds were a bit hard. "

"loved SeaPines but not 53 Woodbine
The property managers are pretty non-responsive to messages- I sent three messages the very first day (one via cell phone, one via their app, one on facebook -not one of those were responded to) It was only when my husband called the fourth time (again no one called us back) that we spoke to anyone. During the week, we called regarding toilets not flushing, showers not draining and how to get pool pass; it was a bit frustrating to make a connection but we did eventually hear back.
Furthermore, we have stayed on Hilton Head at Sea Pines numerous times and have always been appreciative of the fact that we were supplied with a starter pack of dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, washing machine detergent, toilet paper, & paper towels. This is the first time we have ever been away that the product was something that was of such poor quality. The villa does not feel or look clean. The carpeting feels and looks dirty, there are cobwebs up in the corners, food crumbs and whatnot under the pillows on the couch and a tremendous amount of mold in the bathroom showers. The a/c vents are covered in rust and don't look to have ever been cleaned. To put it mildly, it I didn't feel like the place was well taken care of. We won't be staying in this location again. "

"Spring break
The villa was a great place for the 5 of us! Plenty of room and nicely decorated. We loved having the bikes available to ride whenever and where ever we wanted to go. My only complaint was I tried reaching out to the management company twice, once by phone and once by email and got no response. Luckily it was nothing major. FYI the Kureig coffee maker does not work with the new Kcups. Make sure you bring an adaptor or plan on punching holes in the bottom each time."
