We have rented unit 1112 for the last couple of years and have always found it in great condition and clean. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Just step out your door and you will be right by the pool. "

"Great Family Vacation
Overall this rental and property were great for our family vacation. The area and layout is so nice and being on the ground floor right by the pool with kids was so wonderful. The condo is very nice and updated and very spacious. The guest bedroom could use an upgrade on the beds, they were not very comfortable and very squeaky everytime anyone moved. The kitchen was decently equipped with things needed for cooking meals, maybe a few more pots and pan sizes but overall it worked out for us. We ate most meals in for the week. The condo lacked a dustpan and a decent vacuum for cleaning up the sand on the patio and inside from little kid messes. The cleaning company probably needs to be advised to make sure they clean under and around things- we found a dirty pair of socks under the bed, a left over pair of shorts in a drawer and some leftover candy and empty juice bags in the night stand of the guest room. Overall the condo was clean besides those few minor things.
We loved the close proximity to everything and the beach was wonderful and we all had a great time. "

"Great condo, perfect location!
Condo is very nice and the location is perfect. We love the first floor, so nice with a toddler. There were coolers, beach chairs, sand toys, beach towels & floaties! This is a nicely updated unit. The refrigerator did go out on our first day. While this isn’t anybody’s fault the management company was less than kind to us. Called to report it and they told us we overloaded it. Explained multiple times we did not. Told us to get ice to put in there as they wouldn’t send anyone out on Saturday. Didn’t want to send on Sunday put I persisted. At one point on Saturday night after 18 hours of traveling, with a 4 year old, they told us we were welcome to check out and get a refund. All because they refused to believe the refrigerator was broken. Service was out on Sunday, had to replace 2 control boards. They were a bit nicer to me after that. Overall, I would stay here again, just would have liked to have been treated a little better. "

"My Happy Place
Getting ready to head back for our forth year. We look forward to leaving the Michigan winters! Beach Cottages is s very unique condo complex. We have traveled to many places and have never seen a place with more pool deck space. We call it the palazzo, as it reminds us of the huge gathering areas in Europe! Right on the water, quiet, yet very assessable to shops, restaurants and attractions. Our leasing agent, Kristen, has made things so easy for us. We love Beach Cottages! "

"Fun at the beach
Again we had a great time at the beach cottage condominiums.weather was.good,just a little Florida rain. Condo was well stocked and in a great location next to pool and steps from the ocean.
We have been coming to beach cottage for a number of years and have stayed in this condo before. We are finding out the the cleaning of units isn’t what it has been in the pass.
We did leave some items on the beach over night and had them removed by the city only having to go to town hall to pick them up.
Our plans are to make the trip again next year."

"Excellent condo & stay!
I have stayed at Beach Cottages a number of times & this was the nicest condo yet. Beautifully updated!! We loved the main floor level for easy access to the pool deck. The pool area & complex is nicely maintained. I would recommend this complex & unit! Thanks owners!!"

"A wonderful place
This is our third stay at Beach Cottages but the first in this unit. The only downside was the painting going on when we were there. The upside was it is a great location, walk out the door to the pool, sit outside on the patio out of the sun The unit was clean, well decorated and up to date. For breakfast try the Frog Pond, pizza from Beach Pizza "

"Fantastic
We have been coming to Indian Shores for 16 years and have stayed in the Beach Cottages a majority of those. Unit 1112 is by far the nicest stay we have had. They did not skip a thing when renovating this unit. It is absolutely beautiful and we will now call this our home away from home. We plan to book this unit anytime we are visiting Indian Shores in the future. The only thing I would recommend are some rugs, as the floor is extremely slippery (even when not wet and just wearing flip flops or slides).
If you are looking for a clean, contemporary condo, this unit is for you! It is well stocked with plenty of towels, extra pillows, blankets, even beach towels. There is a closet full of sand toys, chairs, pool noodles, floats, coolers, umbrellas, you name it!! We also really enjoyed having our patio right on the pool deck, it made things very convenient. "

The unit was very nice and love that it is pool level. Needs some new comfortable sheets, especially 2nd BR. DO NOT like that so many lounge chairs are bolted down so you are not able to move them to get out of scorching sun! If you bolt down all of them, we Will NOT be back. Must be able to lounge in the shade of the building out of sun. Also, the Pool is Too Small for this big a complex. "

Very enjoyable! We had an issue the 1st night with the bed frame in the master bedroom which was promptly and professionally resolved the next day. All else was great!"

"Vacation In Paradise
The unit was beautiful and very clean. Had just about all of the amenities of home. It is located on the first level right in front of the pool, making it a very desirable location at the complex. The beach is steps away from the condo. It was not too crowded, and it was a very relaxing place to be. We would go back in a heartbeat."

"Loved kitchen; needs cleaning
Been coming to this property for several years. Always have loved the location and now love the updated kitchen, blinds, and furnishings. So nice to see the new owners' interest in their property! However,I washed down all the kitchen appliances and cabinets upon arrival, as they were filthy. The bathroom shower doors were noticeably dirty and even handprints on the slider door to patio upon arrival. Bottom sheet on beds seemed small. Kept coming off exposing mattress pad. Overall, if I was the owner, I would be dissatisfied and disappointed with the cleaning service, especially with the obvious improvements the owners have made to enhance the quality of their property and stay of their guests. Otherwise, great stay. The complex's gas grills were out of order so that changed our plans but we made work. Great pool, great beach access. Lots of memories made!"

This unit was exceptional. The kitchen was really well stocked with everything you need. I didn't mind cooking on vacation. The only thing I would have liked is a little carpet or more rugs. The all-tile floors seemed cold and sound just radiated. My husband is very hard of hearing and it was hard for him to communicate in there."

"Family of 18 in complex
6 family members stayed in this unit for a week over New Years and had a great vacation. We had 12 other family members staying in two additional condos in the complex.
This condo (1112) was home-base for everyone.
Pros - GREAT kitchen (large enough to accommodate all 18 of us for dinner). Perfect location - could sit on porch and watch older kids swim. Right next to the steps when you come up from the beach/parking. Living room and bathroom were nice. Very spacious condo!
Cons - Not much within walking distance. Putt-putt golf was a mile north and we walked to it plus we got used to the Jolly Trolly and it picked up & dropped off out front.
We did have one car for the large group and used for the several grocery runs we needed.
Overall, would recommend this particular condo and the entire complex."

"WOW, could not have been better!
Just got home from staying in this wonderful place. The convenience of the walk out to the pool from the deck made the holiday. Kitchen is gorgeous and well stocked with all we needed. Master suit was beautiful with the walk out and window to see the ocean every morning...the master bath with double sinks and walk in shower with bench was sure nice to have. Bright and welcoming condo, one of the best I have stayed in!
The location is super and the property in general is well looked after and maintained well, the pool and hot tub are clean and very inviting with lots of tables and chairs and the bbqs are well situated and easy to use. We will be here again to stay in this unit because we loved everything about it.

"Not Bad - but not great
The updates were fantastic - heard how it was before the renovations. However, appliances were bottom of the line. The dryer still had a partial not for resale sign on it. We used it but it ripped our clothes and shrunk most of them as well as leaving rust stains on most of them after one time - hmmm - a few hundred dollars worth of damages.
We could not see the Gulf and got fed up with people standing outside our balcony to talk to people on a higher floor."

great condo complex, very family friendly and convenient. The rental company was easy to deal with, condo had everything we needed. Only issue is that the whole condo (just the individual condo 1112, not over complex) is VERY dated. Entire condo needs renovated, just tired. Kitchen cabinets, appliances, furniture, the tube TV's in the bedrooms. The white leather couches were stained yellow from people sitting in them. EVERYTHING needs updated..... Seems as if the owners need to stop milking $$$ out of it and invest some money into it. But with all that said, the unit was clean, just not nice. Great location and pool, beach is very nice. Pool area is large, kind of a nice place to meet people and visit with them."

"WiFi problems
We had a great stay. The condo was very spacious and had everything we needed except the WiFi rarely worked. With five iPhones we really used up 8 of our 12 G of data, which will cost us about $80 by the end of the month. My daughter had difficulty managing her business because of the WiFi and slow internet. It was awful."

"Very convenient
We had a great time. The location was central to everything. We had some trouble with the wifi but nothing serious. Something should really be done about the gas grills. Bottom line we loved our time in Florida and did not want to go home. The accomodations were satisfactory."

All very nice had a great time. Would recommend to others but be aware of only one issue... If you have to use the internet do not pick this unit, not sure about the others units from the same owner , but they all share the same modem. It was extremely painfull and frustrating. "

"Perfect location if you like the beach
The condo was in a great location right on the beach. You could walk for miles in each direction. It had direct access to the pool, hot tub and BBQ area. Spacious rooms and the kitchen had plenty of dishes, etc. On the down side - the internet did not work, the telephone stopped working after the third day, dishwasher did not clean the dishes so we washed them by hand and the toaster only toasts on one side. Overall the good out weighed the bad and we would recommend this property."

1112 is newly renovated. Internet did not work well and was complicated. The unit was for sale, so we had realtors wanting to show the unit while we stayed in it. This a nice condo, but not our favorite at the Beach Cottage."
