"Kona Sunsets
This property is pretty worn out and repairs need to be made to screen doors, drapes, bathrooms and flooring on the lanai. But it is in a very nice development and the grounds are beautiful. The price was reasonable, so it was a good value."

"Lovely comfortable unit in excellent location
The space was large and airy, clean and very comfortable. It was equipped with ample amenities like coolers which made packing our lunches easier. There were even beach toys and beach towels to use. Located near shops as well as one of the best snorkeling beaches we visited. Overall an excellent stay. Our only criticism was that the communication around checking in could have been more clear. "

"A great location
Mr Twitchell was very responsive and helpful both before and during our stay. There needed to be a new box fan as the previous fan wasn't working. He had another fan delivered that same day. We greatly appreciated this.
The property photos and description were accurate. The bathrooms and kitchen appliances were very clean.
However, we were very disappointed about the laminate floors being very dirty: sticky when we started walking on them without shoes (of course) and when we cleaned up some ice and water spills, the paper towel came up filthy. We did not want to walk around barefoot, so wore house slippers all the time. There is a swifter style mop in one closet, but the pads were completely dried up, so we didn't re-clean the floors. The insides of the cupboards haven't been cleaned in a long time. It's time to change the shelf paper! It is very old.
It was good that there was a vacuum cleaner and broom so that we could keep the tile floors clean. Also, there were plenty of dishwasher packets and dish soap provided.
The view from the condo is as advertised and we found sitting on the lanai each morning and evening so pleasant. The beach next to the condo complex was a favorite for us: watching the Sea Turtles, Tangs and other creatures feeding early in the mornings.
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the KSRC and we will come again next year. This property is sorely in need of a face-lift. If upgrades are made on the lanai carpeting and its furniture, the laminate flooring and the kitchen (including better utensils) we would consider returning to this property. Also, it would have been nice to have good working beach chairs and umbrella. A plus: there was was plenty of snorkel gear!"

"Lovely setting
Unit 6-201 is well kept with everything needed for a family of 6. It is situated near a shopping center where you can pick up a few groceries, a farmers market with farm fresh fruit, restaurants for dinner and a gas station for a quick fillup. The Surf & Racqut Club has a pool and Ramada with gas grills to cook out. White sand beaches are a few minutes away by car."

"Affordable and big
Perfect size for my family. It was definitely a home away from home.
Pro’s- Unit provide all our needs. Kitchen was stocked with appropriate kitchen needs. I was surprised to see a rice pot as well. Bathrooms was stocked with towels, beach toys, chairs, cooler, mats, all provided. The washer and dryer was super helpful.
Cons- No AC it was extremely hot. Even with the Windows and doors open, it was still hot. Made sleeping at night impossible. The 2 fans they provided was blowing hot air.
Another con, we paid $175 for cleaning fee which was fine but what I didn’t agree with, we was told to wash all towels and linens. I don’t mind washing the dishes, sweeping, mopping, regular daily cleaning. What I didn’t like was spending a entire day washing all the linen. The washer is not an industrial washer so washing one blanket at school time is time consuming. I’m on vacation and didn’t want to spend an entire day washing linen. So what was the $175 for?
Besides the heat and cleaning requirements the condo was very lovely. Don’t think I’ll stay again. "

"Wonderful Stay South of Kona
This condominium is beautiful, as accurately depicted in the photos. It overlooks a golf course with lush landscaping. Communication was responsive and all necessary details provided in a timely manner. The condominium was clean with all necessary amenities. The beds were very comfortable. Note that the condominium does not have air conditioning. Kona can be very warm and humid during the Summer--if you are used to a drier, less humid climate, this may be a factor. We found that the nights cooled down nicely, and, with each room having a ceiling fan, as well as two portable fans providing good airflow, thus we were very comfortable. From what I observed, air conditioning on the Big Island is the exception, not the rule. The location was calm and quiet, while being a short distance from a shopping center with restaurants and stores. We enjoyed watching sunsets just steps away, as well as swimming in the large club pool. This condominium is a wonderful place to stay!"

Ice maker broken.
Toilets flush poorly
Bathroom doors will not stay open.
Entrance door "spring" is excessive
Entrance door knob is loose.
Entrance door stop needs replacing"

"Perfect place for family vacation!
This place is perfect for our family vacation! It is clean and lots of space for everyone. The wrap around lanai is a bonus for a perfect view and bird watching! The location is close to everything, snorkeling, restaurants and other activities you will enjoy. It is also located in a nice area and it is a gated community. Thanks for having us!"

"Big Island Get Away
My husband and I stayed here with my 7 year old son. This is a great condo complex with an awesome, warm pool. You can swim laps or relax in shallow end . The tennis courts are very well maintained. The unit is just as pictured on the web site. I would definitely stay here again."

The condo was spacious and very well equipped, in a location close to Kahaluu and shopping center. We loved the wrap-around lanai, watching the birds on the lawn below, the adjacent beach area for relaxing. Written instructions for check-in were clear and explicit, but management was non-responsive about a couple of problems we encountered and about our inquiries re booking the unit for next year. A few repairs need to be made, a list of which we e-mailed to the management when we left. If those are taken care of, we would enthusiastically recommend this condo to others."

"HAWAIIAN PARADISE
This was our first stay at this property and we loved it. The golf course in your back yard was beautiful to walk on to watch the sunsets and the property itself was beautiful. We enjoyed the location with a view of the golf course, partial view of the ocean and mountain for sunrise. The condo was very clean and finally we found a well stocked Kitchen. Good clean furniture. 2 patio tables and 11 chairs for our Christmas dinner guests! We were very pleased with our stay."

"Kona Surf & Racquet Club
Stayed at the Kona Surf & Racquet Club for two weeks in December. Directions provided made finding the condo and check in easy. The unit (6-203) was a spacious 2 BR 2 Bath condo. It was nicely appointed and everything needed for our stay in Kona. Especially liked the large wrap around lanai over looking the 13th hole at Kona Country Club golf corse. Also had a partial ocean view ... great sunsets. Location was perfect ... five miles away from downtown Kona and less than one mile from Keauhou Shopping Center and Kona Country Club for golf. Several beaches close to the property. Grounds of the Surf & Racquet were lush and meticulously maintained. Only negative was that the unit above was occupied with young children that ran around for hours in the evening ... we could hear the hard footsteps through the floor! Aside from this we liked our stay."

"Great beautiful location
The two bedroom/2 bathroom condo was really clean and well-maintained. We did enjoy waking up to the birds singing in the morning. Only the neighbour(s) compulsively checking their car locks more than five times a day even late at night and early morning was a bit too much. However, we did enjoy the gated community; golf course from the east and condominium and ocean from the west. Shopping center with a few restaurants only a couple minutes away while beautiful white sand beaches for swimming, surfing, and snorkeling a few minutes in Kailua as well. "

"Great stay and amenities
Aloha,
We had a wonderful stay at your condo. The amenities were great and over the top. The large lanai area was a delight and the neighbors were not nosey and kept to themselves.
My only complaint is the internet. I contacted the person that managed and his response was “it’s on the back of the router, I don’t know this is a new property to me”. So I had school work to finish and had to use my data plan versus the internet. There should be some instructions posted inside the condo by the tv. The chairs on the lanai, it’s cushions could be replaced. It lacked cushion.
But everything was wonderful. I was amazed at all the kitchen baking amenities. I didn’t have to go out to purchase anything. Thank you we had a blast. We will be sure to share our experience with others.

"Beautiful Condo
We enjoyed staying in this spacious one floor condo very much. The condo is clean, recently upgraded and had a beautiful wraparound lanai.
The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had most of what we needed for cooking and the market was very close .
The resort is in a great location, with easy access to the Cliffs for watching the waves . It was close to all the good snorkeling beaches and we enjoyed the tennis and pool and amenities .
The host was very helpful and responded to all needs immediately .
Overall, a great location for a Kona Coast vacation ."
