"Rustic, Premium Price, and Recommended
Yes, this is a premium priced property, however it is also one of the most unique places in the world we've visited, and we've traveled extensively thru 112 countries. This was our 4th visit to Peru, but first to this region.
We were in Treehouse #3 - far enough away to feel secluded, yet right on the river's edge with enough activity to be interesting, but not bothersome.
We stayed 4 days and 3 nights which seemed perfect - plenty of new things to see/try/explore without being overwhelmed or getting bored.
The staff is super attentive, the food is good, and the experience is very memorable (similar to the Galapagos and dozens of African Safaris). Our guide Carlos was great, and Jayber, the boat driver who grew up and still lives nearby was amazing at spotting wildlife.

BE AWARE: This is still a rustic and humid environment with plenty of mosquitos, cold water showers, lots of creepy crawlers, and no A/C. I'm glad we brought our Xofficio mosquito-proof jackets and Deet spray.
Again, this is not a 5-star hotel - it's very rustic, and highly recommended."

"Treehouse Stay in late June 2023
I had the most wonderful, unforgettable experience at the Treehouse lodge. The food was fabulous, the staff was wonderful. I stayed in treehouse 3 next to the river. I could see pink river dolphins from my front entry and I saw two Blue and Yellow Macaws fly right over my treehouse. The excursions were unforgettable and fun. I would recommend this trip to anyone interested in a unique experience."

"Magic trees meet miraculous waterworld
I can warmly recommend this hidden pradise, where you can experience the highest standard of hospitality, nature and learning about the rainforest.
Discovering the wilderness with excellent guides and your own boat and relaxing afterwards in a spectacular treehouse or enjoying wonderful local food was just perfect!

"Great experience at TreeHouse Lodge
This is once in a lifetime experience. Staying on top of a treehouse 40 ft above the jungle and right next to the Amazon river. The property is in the middle of the jungle and completely off the grid. So no cell phones will work and it's a great thing. We were a family of three including a 12 year old and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Everything was well organized, from the pick up at Iquitos our guide Vily was well versed in the local culture and his English was very good. Our ride to Noata took 90 mins and then another 60 mins on a boat to the treehouse lodge. The local guides, manager and staff were so helpful. We had 2 vegetarians and the chef took great care of them. Really amazing experience and will cherish all the excursions including seeing the pink dolphins, swimming on the Amazon, seeing wildlife and the birds, giant water lilies and the local Amazonian people. Will always remember this experience. Thank you TreeHouse Lodge."

"Great Experience / Better Be Adventurous
Airport Pick Up 4.5 / 5 Stars
The airport is extremely tiny with 1 baggage claim, so super easy. As we came out of baggage claim our Guide was waiting for us with our name on a sign and walked to the car with us.
Travel to the Boat 4.5/5 Stars
We traveled by a regular 4 door car with our driver and our guide. The ride took about 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to the boat. The guide was great as we discussed numerous topics about the trips, excursions we wanted, our concerns with spiders, bugs etc (more to come later) and overall general topics.
Boat travel to the Lodge 3.5 /5 Stars
Some locals at this stop grabbed our bags and carried down a steep flight of stairs to the boat waiting for us. The guide, myself and wife walk down to the canoe with a motor for about another 1 hour and 30 minute ride that is very loud from the motor .
Lodge 5.0 / 5/0 Stars
We were in Hut 3, great location. No hanging bridges to get room but was about 60 feet off the ground up stairs. the place was exactly as described, very clean, nice and pretty well maintained for being in the middle of the jungle. Food is average but presented very nicely.
Excursions / Guides 4.5 / 5 stars
Our Guide Vily was 10 stars!! Fun to talk with, extremely knowledgeable of Peru, wildlife etc. he spotted everything for us. FYI bring your own binoculars or camera with a long distance lens. We saw everything we wanted. Be realistic the dolphins are not jumping out of the river, the birds, monkeys and sloths are normally pretty far away from the boat to see details or features, so bring binoculars.
Bugs / Spiders - They are everywhere. Bring bug spray for mosquitos with 50% DEET, spray often. We did see 2 tarantulas, one in the dining lounge at lunch and one on the walkway to our room at night. None in our hut. Even with that, it was well worth it and very happy we went."

"Una experiencia única/ A unique experience
Cumpli mi sueño de niña de dormir en una casa de árbol. La experiencia es única. El estar rodeado de naturaleza, dormir en la copa de un árbol, ver las luciérnagas en la oscuridad y levantarse con el sonido de los animales, no tiene precio. Los tours diversos y personalizados por la selva nos permitieron conocer de cerca las especies en su estado natural de una forma respetuosa, sin duda una aventura totalmente maravillosa. La comida estuvo deliciosa, mi enamorado es vegano y se preocuparon por servirle platos especialmente hechos para el y explicarle cuales fueron los cambios.
Muchísimas gracias al Treehouse Lodge y a todo su personal, pasamos unos dias increibles!!

"Amazing Trip
Our guide Vily met us in Iquitos and became our friend the whole time we were visiting. Vily himself is a knowledgable, experienced, friendly, and fun person who we were happy to have had the luck to have as our guide. We were able to do jungle walks during the day and at night, we took sunset and sunrise river cruises with our local capitan Milton, kayaked, fished, found a variety of animals like monkey, toucans, hawks, & other birds, river otters, sloths, dolphin, etc.. The treehouse was amazing, as well as the common tree lodge with the kitchen and bar. The chef was incredible was and the bartender became a friend as well, not only because he made great drinks! We would and already have recommended this to friends and family both. We couldn't believe it wasn't busier than it was! If Vily, Martin, Milton, or any of the kitchen staff read this, thanks again! It was great!"

"Wonderful 3 day stay in the Amazon
My husband and I stayed at the treehouse Lodge in Iquitos for 3 days and 2 nights. We had a wonderful time, our guide, Guido, was by our side whenever we left the lodge and made sure we were able to do all of the excursions we wanted. The food was great, the staff and management were very accommodating of our dietary requests. Staying in the treehouse was a dream come true, it was clean and we slept very well. Some bugs do get in the room but this should be expected when staying in the trees. The extra mosquito net around the bed keeps them away from you while you sleep. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would recommend staying here if you're planning to visit the Amazon!

"Amazing Vacation
I knew it was going to be a great experience but the actual stay blew my expectations away. It was like staying in a hidden magical paradise.
Sleeping up in the treehouse wasn't scary at all, everything was very comfortable.
The staff was very attentive to all our needs. All the tours were very safe and fun.

"An unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime stay in the canopy!
Three things made this experience exceptional. First, the location obviously, staying up in the rainforest canopy is truly unique. Second, every single detail is given intentional attention from the food, to the cleanliness, to the excursions. Finally, the best part is that your group has a personal guide that picks you up at the airport, is with you throughout your excursions--which take place with just you and your guide--and escorts you personally back to the airport. If you are lucky, you might end up with the our guide, Christian Silva who was an amazing, and world famous, guide. Christian make our experience the best it could possibly be. "

"Beautiful Treehouse Lodge
My husband and I stayed at the Treehouse Lodge for 5 days to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The Treehouse Lodge is beautiful, unique, and has an amazing staff. It is an all inclusive resort that includes tour guide, various tours, and all meals. It even provides laundry service. The tours were amazing. Examples of tours include butterfly farm, monkey island, jungle tour, fishing, etc. The only comment I would have on the property's condition is the lack of hot water and general water pressure in the shower. The lack of hot water was not difficult given the humidity but the expectations should be set. I recommend the Treehouse Lodge for all!!"
