Our stay at Treehouse Lodge was a once in a lifetime type of stay. The lodge and treehouses are absolutely stunning, the food is phenomenal (coming from a picky eater) and the staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Having your own guide that caters the trip to what you would like and to actually have the chance to get to know your driver and guide was the best experience. Spent my birthday here and even though I was only there with my boyfriend, I felt as though I was surrounded by good friends. Do yourself a favour and book this lodge. "

"Amazing Experience
We absolutely loved our time at the resort, and were sad to leave when our stay was over.
Our guide, Roberto, was fantastic. He was not only very knowledgeable, but also flexible when developing our schedule for the week. He ensured we had every experience we were hoping for.
You truly can't top falling asleep to the sounds of the rainforest at night, especially in such beautiful and unique accommodations.
The food was beautiful and delicious, we looked forward to every meal.
I could not recommend this amazing experience more."

Originally we were reserved to stay in Treehouse #6. Unfortunately, we found it extremely small and confining for comfort, and when requested, management moved our accommodations. We were delighted with Treehouse #3."

"Bad that you don't pay commission to tour agency
It's a big disappointment that a company like Treehouse doesn't have the ability to repay the travel agent's commission when the customer pays for the service on the lodge.
The explanation was that the money goes to the USA and no commissions are paid from there.
We will definitely consider such a company as the last option for placement of our tourist."

"Unforgettable vacation.
If you are adventures and looking for an unique and amazing place, you will love the treehouse. Ours was high in a canopy, perfect for watching birds in a morning. Most of the evenings we spent at the lodge, knowing that light will attract the bugs. But using a book light for reading was not an issue. Chef at the lodge was creating the most amazing, tasty meals! Our 2 guides were great at spotting wildlife in a jungle, took us fishing for piranhas and were showing us medicinal plants and trees. We love the nature , so the tree house was perfect for us. And all personnel was supper nice !!"

Incredible architecture and amazing staff. Head to toe the Treehouse Lodges are a must-visit. You’re living 60+ feet up in the canopy, surrounded by wild life and supported by the most friendly and experienced local staff. Hands down recommend!"

"Amazing Amazon experience
The treehouse lodge was an amazing once in a lifetime experience. I saw six types of monkey, sloths, and tons of species of birds. The food was delicious and they make every effort to keep the space clean. The guides and staff were very knowledgeable about the plants and animals. Overall cannot recommend enough. "

"Great to see the Amazon, Multiple kinks to work out
Our guide, Johnny was delightful and informative. Our night walk and fishing for piranhas were highlights of our trip. The idea of the treehouses was fun and unique.
ISSUES:
1. We were picked up near lunch hours from the airport and transported for 3+ hours. Due to being at airport/on plane, we had not eaten since 7:30 am.
This group had no food plan for travelers who were arriving over a major meal time, so the ride to the Treehouse Lodge was uncomfortable. However, they did provide a meal upon arrival at our request(4:30 pm) .
2. Our treehouse had two twin beds, and one of them had an inadequate mosquito net. Therefore, hundreds of bugs got into that bed, such that it was not usable. We expressed the problem and referred to the inadequate mosquito net after the first night, but this was not solved for the next night. Someone brought up a replacement net at *!--10:48 pm --!* the next night, but we were already sleeping.
3. On the last day, we needed to leave around 11:30 am. We were told that the Treehouse Lodge would hold off on giving us lunch since the driver had been instructed to stop for us early on in the drive to get local food. We were told by our guide that the driver did not speak English, but he was already informed he was supposed to be stopping at a particular set of stands for us to get local food. We were reassured he was already aware of this plan. The driver never stopped. Therefore, we never got any lunch at all.
4. We were assured via email that we would be able to easily get COVID-19 testing prior to our departure from Iquitos. The Treehouse lodge apparently knows a clinic where they commonly bring travelers for testing. However, they failed to note that it was a Peruvian holiday, so the clinic was closed. In fact, all local clinics were closed. This was something the Treehouse failed to predict or look into. We then had to personally scramble to make a new plan for testing in Lima"

"Location,location,location!
We had a blast at the Treehouse lodge. Our treehouse was 65 feet up ,which meant lots of stairs. That was not a problem. It was quiet, beautiful view out the “window”. It was cleaned daily, and mosquito coils lit every night for us. When we had an unexpected visitor, (tarantula) the staff quickly dealt with it for us."

"Best Vacation Ever!!!

Our guide was amazing. The food served on site was great at times and not so great at other times... The actual treehouse was super cool, but there were quite a few holes in the netting and plenty of critters got in. I would expect that the treehouse would be cared for better given the significant cost of the experience. That was our biggest disappointment. "

"Once in a lifetime experience in the Amazon
Our time at Treehouse Lodge was absolutely incredible. The entire time we had our own private guide, Guido, who was awesome, super knowledgeable and all around pleasant to be around. You have several 2-3 hour excursions you can choose to do during the day that will allow you to see a wide variety of wildlife, fauna and local Amazon culture. We stayed in treehouse #6 and it was such a unique and magical experience. Every day we were given a different delicious local meal and juice, we even ate the piranhas we caught during the day! The whole team working at the lodge were very friendly and helpful."

"Amazing Jungle Experience
The property was beautiful and excursions offered were great. The views are unbelieveable especially during a storm. We wish we had more time to spend in our treehouse, the excursions tended to take up a lot of time.
The treehouse kept most bugs out and maintenance came morning and night to clear anything out which was nice. The showers are cold. Fresh juice is provided after each excursion and filtered water available with a free water bottle. Our water didn't get replenished very much in our room unfortunately. It rained 2 nights during out stay which was amazing being up in the trees. The manager was very sweet and always on call if you needed anything. Tarantula!
Overall food was delicious, but basic. Grilled chicken, steak, veggies. Wish there was more traditional Amazonian food. We didn't get a choice of what we ate each meal and would have liked to have another option of entree.
Excursions were fun! Piranha fishing, jungle walks, night walks, night cruises. Our guide was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we saw everything there was too offer. The night walk and cruise were quite an experience! Fishing was really fun too, especially getting to eat what you caught. Holding sloths was amazing!
We wish our guide give us some space. It felt as if we had another person on vacation with us. After spending a majority of the day with them on excursions, it seemed we were always interrupted during our meal to discuss the next adventure when we had already covered that at the end of the last. Our first night our guide sat down at our table right as the appetizer was served and stayed the entire meal talking to us while we ate. Even after saying something after a few meals, we were always met by our guide right after we finished even though we knew each morning and afternoon what time we would meet for the excursion.
Highly recommend!!! Once in a lifetime experience we'll never forget"

"Xmas in the Jungle
My wife and I were very pleased with our stay at the Treehouse Lodge. The internet lead us to believe that it was a bit more luxurious than it actually was. However, this was no problem for us. We liked where the lodge sat on the spectrum of luxury."

"Jungle adventure in the treetops
My family and I had a wonderful stay at Treetops Lodge. The staff was very helpfuls, friendly and informative. The food was great and we loved being able to stay in the trees. We have traveled a lot and this was a truly unique location. Our guide was amazing and showed us all the Amazon had to offer from sloths to anteaters, bats, caiman, manatees, birds, monkeys, pink dolphins, piranhas and the list goes on. A fun and unique experience."
