The thing that really made it SO magical for us was our guide Pepe!
He was incredibly knowledgeable along with being such a joy!

"Disappointed in my guide
I loved the treehouse and loved the food - really amazing experience this way. My guide however was not professional. He would try to touch me when we were swimming, pulled me towards him to try and kiss me. I pushed him away several times and didn't feel comfortable swimming after this. As a solo female traveler, this made a huge impact on my overall experience there. I wrote an email to the management but did not hear back. "

"An Amazing Trip
I wanted to do something that no one else usually does on a vacation. And staying in a Treehouse was it. First off I want to say that the communication was great. We were picked up on time, the travel to the location was fun and not time consuming. The treehouse was fantastic. We loved the walk to our place, it was clean, we had zero issues with bugs, my only complaint was lack of pillows. They gave you one very small pillow, I had to double it up so my neck wouldn't kink up. The food was phenomenal. Props to the chef. The staff was extremely nice. Our guide, Johnny was so informative and always ready to do whatever we were up for. The excursions were fun. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. If you are considering it, you won't be disappointed. "

"Such a fun and Unique experience
We chose Treehouse lodge for our experience seeing the Amazon in Peru and we are so happy we did! Everything was so organized and such an adventure from start to finish! The treehouses were so beautiful, the food was Amazing especially the pina coladas! The excursions we went on were so amazing, we loved fishing and watching dolphins! Swimming in the river was so fun too! I would definitely recommend staying with treehouse lodge. I wish we would have been able to stay longer, I will be back soon! "

"Birthday gift for my wife
Once I landed at Iquitos Airport my guide for the whole stay was there to pick us up, his name is Eddie. Excursion was included and having a personal guide and a boat driver (Dennis) was the best. I control the time and type of excursions we wanted. The staff was amazing and our meal which is included was delicious and I specially like the food presentation, it was that fancy looking. If ever wanted to have an Amazon jungle experience, The tree House Lodge would be the best. My Tree House I have was next to the river, and yes I saw a pink Dolphin swimming by. And my wife caught a piranha. I wanna thank the chef for making the birthday cake for my wife, and the staff singing her a Happy Birthday. "

"The Ultimate Childhood Dream Come True
The Treehouse Lodge over delivered in every aspect. Being given a personal guide and boat driver for the duration of the stay allowed us to really get to know them and build a connection.
Pepe was so knowledgeable about the rainforest, the animals and insects and the river peoples way of life. He was a fantastic guide, and Alex, our boat driver was always there on time and available for us.
Having all the excursions included and doing as much or as little as we wanted throughout, our visit was awesome. We always had choice.
The food presentation by the chef was that of a five star restaurant for every meal. Not only was in pretty to look at, but everything was delicious.
Sleeping in a treehouse was like a childhood dream come true. The treehouse fulfilled the ultimate adventure of staying in the Amazon rainforest. "

Tuve una estadía increíble y una experiencia única al tener mi propia casa en un árbol muy limpia, comoda y protegida con vista al río desde mi propio balcón, me encantó caminar entre los árboles a través de puentes muy seguros escuchando el sonido de la naturaleza. Nuestro guía Roberto y driver Genaro nos dieron un trato excelente brindándonos su amistad y haciendo todo para que podamos explorar al maximo la fauna y flora de nuestra selva de dia y de noche (monos, osos perezosos, aves, delfines, caimanes, insectos), para hacer todas las actividades que queriamos, hasta el ultimo minuto de nuestra estadia nos dieron gusto, en cada tour nos divertimos muchísimo, fuimos al rio amazonas, pescamos, visitamos una comunidad, hicimos kayac por primera vez. La comida deliciosa y todo el personal muy amable en todo momento. Disfrute mucho mi estadía y lo recomiendo a todas mis amistades."

Up in the tree with a riverview, so you can see the boats go past. Also got a good view of the monkeys across the river. this is at the end of the line for this branch so you don't have people walking past or under your hut. picking your daily activities to suit our family group was a great concept."

Muy lindo el lugar, nos tocó la cabaña nro10, con una linda vista hacia el rio.
Los trabajadores, muy hospitalarios. Nos tocó a Amado y Gustavo como Guías que fueron muy amables. La comida estuvo rica.
Lo que deberían cambiar son las lámparas del comedor y los adornos que están muy deteriorados y desmerece el lugar. "

"A truly lovely time
The jungle isn't always an easy place, but the Treehouse staff make it as seamless as it can be. They take care of everything -- your transport, bags, food, cleaning, and absolutely anything else you can imagine. And they do it all with such deep and authentic kindness. "A Week in a Treehouse
My husband (76) and I (70) enjoyed a fabulous week at the Treehouse spotting different species of monkeys, sloths, birds, pink dolphin, and caimen. We took two excursions a day with lunch and a hammock nap in between. Our treehouse was spotless and the lodge was a unique place to meet up with other guests. We met the most interesting, adventuresome people. There were families, honeymooners, and explorers. What fun we had sharing our daily adventures."

Estuvimos 06 días en Treehouse y fueron muy relajantes, el equipo nos guió desde nuestra llegada al aeropuerto hasta nuestro embarque al vuelo. "Great time in the Amazon
Loved the Tree House Resort. Everyone went out of there way to make our trip comfortable and memorable. Our guide gave us great tours and we were able to learn a lot about the region. We saw 4 sloths, monkeys, pink and gray dolphins and even a tarantula or two. Our room was lovely. Really fun to be up in the treetops. No AC, but it actually got cold at night and needed the blanket. There is no hot water, but we knew this before we went and it was part of the adventure. The food was amazing!!! So delicious!! Definitely a bucket list experience. "

"Amazon rainforest soundtrack
On arrival at the Lodge, Martin, the friendly maitre d' fixed a late lunch that was very much appreciated. All the food served during my stay, served at fixed hours, was excellent. My luggage was taken care of by housekeeping. Treehouse 10 was exactly as described. Obviously basic but clean and well-maintained. The outer treehouse mosquito net had some holes but the bed mosquito net was well-maintained. Holes were fixed. During my stay I did not encounter any visual guests in the treehouse. The only guests were the outside birds and cicadas that provided a permanent jungle soundtrack. The days were busy with activities around the Amazon rainforest and the Rapaya, Ucayali and Maranon rivers. Thank you for having me."

"Bucket list experience
Our guide and assistant, Osmar and Garison were phenomenal. They were very knowledgeable but also relaxed and calm which was very helpful when traveling to a new place that brings many fears.
The first day came with a lot of anxiety of spiders, nighttime sounds, the usual. After the first night we were able to settle in and let the Amazon take us on a journey.
We traveled with a group of 7 people. The only thing I would have changed was to split our group in half and have a 2nd guide. Larger groups make it difficult to spot wildlife when there’s too much noise. Also it’s not possible for everyone to be close to the guide when doing hikes so a few people will always lose out on the learning experience if they fall to the back of the line.
The accommodations were fantastic. The beds and the room was impeccably clean. Every day they turned down the room and provided new towels. At one point we had a large tarantula in our room right as we were going to bed. We radio’d to the main lodge and they came very quickly to remove it. We know they’re not poisonous but it certainly helped us sleep better knowing it wasn’t going to crawl under the bed netting!
Visiting the village of San Puerto was my favorite experience. We brought some candy for the local children and it was a big hit. Afterwards we ventured over to the beach for a sunset swim which was a perfect end to a hot day.
My only criticisms:
-some treehouses in our group did not receive a radio. I thought that was helpful for us as we used it several times.
-pillows on the bed are very tiny. We requested some extras several times but they never came
-we asked them to take our laundry but the dryer was broken and we were not able to air dry the clothes in the humid weather so we had to travel with soggy wet clothes. They were very apologetic and we understood
-lodge furniture was not comfortable to sit in for long periods of time and not enough"

"Treehouse livin
This was an unforgettable vacation! The staff Martin and Villy made our time so enjoyable. Incredible food experiences like eating our own piranha catch for lunch. Seeing 8 different monkey species, my first ever sloth sighting. Canoeing in wooden boats, sunsets on the Amazon while watching pink dolphins swim and play. A highlight of visiting a local village and buying thier products were just a few of the amazing vacation Memories that will last forever. A must do!"

"Amazing experience
An amazing time with great staff and a brilliant driver and a top guide Alan. The only criticism I have is that there was a big hole in the mosquito net in bathroom so two nights in a row we had a tarantulas and then a huntsman spider come in to our room and we couldn’t get the walker talkie to work as no one showed us how to use it so we either had to kill one ourselves or run all the way down to get a member of staff who did remove the tarantula expertly. The only other minor criticism is that and it is minor as the food was amazing. The food was very European or American style and it would have been better in my opinion if they could have cooked much more local style food that you would get in Amazonian villages and towns. We can’t thank the chef enough though as he was brilliant and cooked our piranhas and catfish perfectly for us. Overall it is an amazing place with top staff and perfect guides. Thank you guys!"

"Treehouse in the Amazon - YAY!
Absolutely magical stay at the Treehouse Lodge in Peru. Met at arrival in Iquitos and taken by private bus and boat to lodge. Had a personal guide who tailored our excursions to our wants. HELD A SLOTH! Saw a river boa and a caiman, plus monkeys and so many beautiful birds. Treehouse had netting around it as well as the beds. Comfy chairs for sitting and gazing at the beautiful jungle and river. Meals were first rate. Was a GREAT experience!"

"Unique place in the heart of the Amazon Jungle
The lodge was very unique, our treehouse was excellent with basic amenities such as a cold shower, toilet, comfortable bed, and a water bottle was given to us as a gift for refilling with drinking water at the kitchen. The restaurant was nice, good food, very helpful staff. Our included cruises and tours of the area were very informative, we saw so many unique wild animals with the help of our friendly guide and boat operator. This was a once-in-a-lifetime holiday that we truly enjoyed."

"An amazing authentic jungle experience!
I can't say enough about our amazing Amazon experience here! From the moment we were met at the airport, and for the duration of our 2 night stay, we were treated with 5 star service. All communication leading up to our visit was clear and prompt. All of our meals were authentic and delicious and enjoyed with the other guests at meal times in the central dining area. The chefs even cooked the piranha we caught and they were surprisingly good! Our guide, Roberto, was extremely knowledgeable about the Amazon and able to identify birds and animals from their sounds, giving us all English names. He and Roger, our boat driver and machete-wielding trail leader, were flexible and accommodating to all of our requests, from piranha fishing, to midnight jungle walks, to finding pink dolphins, anacondas, sloths, caiman, toucans, monkeys and so much more! Our screened in room overlooked the river and we especially enjoyed the little balcony. The bed was comfortable and had a netted cover. We had no issue with bugs. We only wish we had a little more time to spend in it! If you can deal with the humidity (there is a fan), early morning jungle noises and motor boats, you will love the experience of walking across a suspension bridge to your own private room, that really is in the heart of the Amazon. "

"Vacation of a Lifetime
I only spent three days in the Treehouse lodge but it made the experience of Peruvian Amazon one of the most amazing life experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. It is such an unique experience to be 50 feet up from the forest floor and right next to an Amazon river. The staffs were so friendly and really helpful. The food was amazing and plenty. The jungle is not the easiest place to feel comfortable and to live in luxury but The Treehouse Lodge really was very posh! I loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to make jungle experience a pleasant one. I would consider going back too and ask for my tour guide Johnny again. "

"The most incredible experience!
This was by far the highlight of my trip to Peru. Ever part of the experience was incredible including the customer service prior to arrival.
The transportation to and from the lodge was flawless, my guide Willy and boat drive Gernado (sorry if that’s not exactly right) were amazing and so knowledgeable. Enrique asked me every day if I was doing ok or needed anything. The food was outstanding.
As a female solo traveler I always felt completely safe and comfortable. I cannot give the lodge a high enough review. If you’re considering this place, stop and just do it!!"

"Treehouse Stay
Our stay was quite enjoyable. The Treehouse concept is fabulous and the Amazon sightseeing with our own private guide was most informative and enjoyable.
There are two areas where Treehouse Lodge totally fails to deliver its marketing promise. It says "you won't sacrifice any of the usual comforts found on the ground" Not true. Cold water showers are just unacceptable at Treehouse's price level. Cold is cold is cold and cold showers are miserable and uncomfortable. It would be a minimal investment to provide guests hot showers....why it isn't done is just baffling in such otherwise wonderful accommodation.
Likewise the food is described as "delicious". It is not. It is bland and boring. I had a diet restriction so I got beef 7 lunches and dinners out of 7. The beef was all a poor cut, overcooked but still tough and served in bland, tasteless sauces. My wife got chicken 5 times out of 7 with no diet restrictions and it was the same....served in bland, tasteless sauces.
Treehouse Lodge is a fabulous concept and facility. It needs a bit of work to deliver its promise and deliver a standard of comfort and food appropriate for ts price."

"You've Got to Stay Here!
My husband and I spent 4 days and 3 nights at the Treehouse Lodge as part of our wedding anniversary vacation to Peru. It was one of the most unique experiences we've had on a vacation, and I highly recommend it, especially for those looking for a front-row seat to the wondrous nature of the Amazon. Each treehouse is provided with a guide and a boat driver so that you can avail yourself of all of the excursions at any time. In the main lodge, the chef prepares amazing food (Estanley has some serious talent) and the servers pay great attention to ensuring you have everything you need during the course of the meal. We loved our guide, Dustin, and our boat driver Manuel, their knowledge of the area and enthusiasm for showing us the jungle delights was boundless. "

"An amazing place to stay!
Our stay in treehouse # 10 was the most unique lodging experience we've ever had. The treehouse was spacious, clean and comfortable, with amazing views. The food at the lodge was exceptional; like at a fine restaurant, delicious and artistically presented.
Our one disappointment was the excursions. The website descriptions are a bit misleading. Our guide was good, and informative, but we were not given the chance to choose the things we wanted to do; he just chose how we'd be spending our days. "

It was awesome. One of the best places I have stayed at. Far away from cities. The food was excellent. I had my own guide(Fernando)the whole stay. We went out 2-3 times each day exploring.Highly recommend this spot if you like the flooded rain forest and its critters."

"Up in the canopy!
We loved our tree house homes.
Both spaces were amazing with very comfortable beds.
It really was a (childhood)) dream come true to be able to live in the tree tops! It was so beautiful up there and very exciting navigating the sky bridges in between platforms.
The technology used to create this place is impressive and we appreciated that the trees are not compromised in the process.

"Most Awesome Place!
We stayed in house #10 with a beautiful view overlooking the river. It was beyond what we expected (though what do you expect with such an adventurous setting?) The staff was number one with attention beyond what was necessary. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Out guide Pepe was above knowledgeable and interested in what we were about and what we wanted to do. No doubt a memorable time!! We would recommend this place without hesitation. "
