"Crystal Dunes 505
This condo has the most beautiful view, of sunrise and sunset. The home is clean, uncluttered, and tastefully decorated. Because I am a daily walker, I loved the blacktop path located right across the street. We appreciated that so many restaurants were minutes away. We had a problem figuring out how to use satellite TV on the livingroom TV but that's only because we're Roku users and it is a very different set up. This was our first trip to Destin, and a very positive experience."

"Great, great, great, getaway!
While we absolutely love everything about Crystal Dunes and this unit, we did have concerns about the television issues. The instructions need to be better communicated. However, this will not keep us from returning year after year. We have already booked for 2024. Wonderful stay!"

"Always a blast
3 years in a row now staying at Crystal Dunes. Everything is always wonderful when we come down. One complaint I have is with the oven. We couldn’t get it preheated so we had to use it the convection way. Other than that, as always we enjoy our stay. Top notch cleanliness, quietness, & all around wonderful. Definitely will be back. "

"Great location on the beach
The 3 bedroom and 3 bath condominium was great for our family trip that included kids, parents, and a grandparent. The property gave us easy access to the beach, restaurants, grocery store, and fun activities. A major plus is the private area on the beach just for the patrons of Crystal Dunes. Also, we really liked the well stocked kitchen, having 2 elevators, and the team of workers that cleaned the property every morning. The only negative was that signs around Crystal Dunes say it is a smoke free property but there seemed to a bit of a very faint smoke smell inside this unit. Not a deal breaker since half of the family could not smell it but definitely glad to have the allergy meds for the other half. We enjoyed our trip to Destin and will definitely return!!"

"Spring Break 2023
Had a great stay at Crystal Dunes. TV in the main FR didn't work the whole trip, sent a message the first day and never saw anyone. TV's in the rooms worked, also internet issues but wasn't a big deal as we were not in the room much. Location is awesome, so easy getting to the beach and pool and everything local in Destin.
Without a doubt would recommend this place and will be back."

"Crystal Clear....
Our family loved this spacious condo. Such a beautiful view of the sandy white beaches and crystal clear water... We loved having two complimentary beach chairs with an umbrella reserved for us by the water everyday. The condo is very conveniently located. It’s very close to many grocery stores, shops, restaurants etc... We will definitely be back.. "

"Disappointed
Overall the room was just ok. The apartment had a mildew order when we arrived, I'm glad I bought air freshener. In addition it was freezing in the apartment. I was hoping for more updated appliances i.e. keurig machine. The one thing that was the worse was the bathroom for the bunk beds it was extremely dangerous, the shower was not usable because the doors were not stable at all. I'm so glad we didn't have children with us because I would definitely have not let them use that tub/shower. I almost fell because of the doors and there should be some type of grippers in the tub. We did love the location as it was close to a lot of good restaurants and close to the beach. There were 3 couples and we all paid an equal amount for the stay I think it would have been fair to have a beach setup for each couple that's my recommendation also being that the pool area doesn't get much sun the pool needs to be heated because it was freezing. For wifi it needs to be written somewhere in the condo because what we were shown was totally different than what we eventually found out after calling customer service. If I had a choice I would not return to this location nor would I recommend it to anyone. "

"Very Nice but Needs New Skillets
The unit is quite nice. It was the cleanest unit I've seen of all the rentals I've had in Destin/Miramar Beach. Some items/fixtures are a bit dated and there are minor issues (e.g., the patio door doesn't lock; a toilet paper holder being loose and not properly secured to the wall). The biggest issue was that the skillets were very scratched and way past their prime. It would be nice if the owner invested in just 2-3 new skillets/pans. Otherwise, the kitchen was surprisingly well stocked. Overall, a nice unit."

The communication was wonderful. I was texting with a real human on their text line.

The unit was the biggest we have stayed in in this building for a comparable price. Very very clean. Stocked with pool toys, beach toys, beach chairs. Easy checkin and check out.

Beach service is wonderful as always.

We are so excited to have found the unit we love best in this building so we immediately rebooked for next year. :)"

"Great Location!
We had a wonderful experience here! The condo was quiet and spacious with plenty of room for 2 families. The view from the balcony was amazing and we were right on the beach. The living room furniture was a little worn, but the condo was clean and provided us plenty of room. We will definitely be returning!"

"Not Our Best Experience
Gibson as far as customer service and ease of trip planning and access was excellent; however we had a few issues with our stay. The condo wasn’t cleaned well. Although they don’t allow pets, there was some sort of what looked like pet hair in the condo and it was getting all over the kids toys and on our clothes and on the kids’ hands. Also the silverware was put back in the drawer still dirty so we had to rewash it ourselves before use. There was also a live roach that climbed into the baby portable crib and we had to kill it. Gibson did send someone to clean the floors again for us. The condo also needs some updating. The couch had some stains on it. Beds were comfortable and the condo was well stocked. "

"Beautiful place and gorgeous view
This was a very nice place in a great neighborhood. Very safe and just a sort drive to anything you need. The view was absolutely the best part. We love staying on the balcony and watching the dolphins play in the water. Plenty of room for the family and right there on the beach. I would recommend it to anyone and would stay again. "

"Perfect Vacation Spot!
Crystal Dunes 505 is a beautiful condo with an excellent view of the beach from the balcony. The condo is well equipped with all the things you will need for your stay. Stocked kitchen, beach chairs, linens. It was clean, and well kept. We would definitely stay again, and we would absolutely rent from Gibson Rentals again as well. They have excellent customer service and made us feel at home and exceptionally cared for. Thank you both to the owners and to Gibson for our truly memorable stay!!!"

"Fantastic Crystal Dunes
We had a great experience staying at Crystal Dunes unit 505 in September 2020. We were there for a long weekend to attend a wedding and we’re very happy with how conveniently located this resort was to restaurants and shopping. Besides being ocean front, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted so we didn’t even need a car.
The unit we stayed in was very clean, modern, and well kept. I’ve stayed at many resorts in Destin and this is the first one that was in perfect working order. I was also very impressed with Gibson Reservations as they were very fast to help us with questions and concerns as we arrived just after Hurricane Sally has passed through the area.
I would definitely recommend this unit to friends and family and hope to return soon. "

"Perfect spot for Summer Vacatiom
We stayed in unit 505 the last week of July. It was perfect for our two families(9 total), and the location is unbeatable. The unit was ready an hour prior to our scheduled check in time. When we arrived the unit was CLEAN and ready. I would very much recommend this condo. "

"Great location and Private Beach a major plus
The condo is in a great location and the private beach was peaceful. The condo was in good condition and everything was just as the pictures described. The only downside was the condo above us was doing construction for 5 days straight starting right at 9 am every morning. Not the condo owners fault, but since the management company knew about it it would have been nice to receive a small discount. The noise went on from 9-3 for 5 days. Not easy to take a nap or just rest when the pictures felt like they were going to fall off the walls. "
