"Nice resort
Overall, this is a very nice resort. The area the resort is located is very poor and full of run down shacks and trash. If you never leave the resort, that won’t bother you, but if you think you’re going to walk from the resort to shop or go out to eat...you’re not. The beach is very private with a guard on duty at all hours who keeps peddlers, etc away. The water can be beautiful at times, but the seaweed is a never ending battle. 4 guys all day long with rakes & wheelbarrows trying to clean it up, but by the end of the day it looks like they were never there. The condo is very nice...very much like it looks in the pictures. Plenty of towels, kitchen is well stocked with pans, dishes, etc. Being in the outermost building was nice as you don’t get the pool noise & have a great view of the beach, but it’s also right where they haul the wheelbarrows of seaweed all day long."

"Family paradise
What a wonderful apartment perfect for our family. The resort part was perfect where they had enough activities but not overwhelming. We were able to kickback and relax. The pool was amazing and everything was so clean. We were not able to enjoy the ocean but it’s the seaweed season and it’s something the carribean in general is struggling with. There was a seaweed smell because of it but not unbearable and mostly at night. The hotel was amazing the staff was so friendly and everything on the premises was kept very clean even the sand on the beach. What an amazing experience."

"Great condo!
The condo was exactly what we wanted! It was well stocked with supplies to make a good home away from home. Our driver, Victor, was awesome too! The only unfortunate thing was the excessive seaweed on the beach, but we had the beautiful pool and went on some excursions."

"Blue Beach L101
The facility was very nice and just as pictured. The setting was absolutely beautiful and we really enjoyed the outdoor space and being so close to the water. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and a few spoke English well. We had been told that there were free shuttles but that was NOT the case. We were confused about when tips were or were not included and the tax situation - wish we would have done some homework regarding. They did have entertainment one night which was great fun - wish there would have been more. Overall very quiet resort, beautiful settings and great people!"

"80 degrees everyday
We went to DR to get away from the single digit temperatures that Winter brings to the Midwest, USA. The plan worked because it was 80 and Sunny everyday. If you look hard enough you can see that the storm surge from the Hurricane (Fall 2017) had done some damage to our unit, The woodwork was stained and some of the doors wouldn't shut properly. The walls had been repainted. Not a bad recovery from the water being 3ft deep in our unit. The 3 bdrom/3bath unit was very nice, truthfully I really wouldn't have notice the doors if one of our roommates hadn't said something. We were in the master suite and all of our doors worked fine. I'd give it a 8 on the actually condo, the resort is a 10!, spectacular. the staff was very friendly and the employee from your business was very nice and met us on day 2 and day 7 for check out. The food was a little fishy for my Midwest taste but the Wife loved it, the beach was the best at least a mile up each direction. but as far as swimming it wasn't that great, brown water instead of the turquoise that we had at the Hardrock. This is a very nice place on the property. Off the property sucked, slums and sad, the grocery store is just a block away and to get there you had to walk the street full of trash. we didn't rent a car so we took a taxi to excursions. From Beach Beach to the Hardrock resort is $45.00 for a mini van, we had a big group so we just split the cost. So get ready for trash off the property and expensive taxi rides to get to and from. I don't think we'll go back...a little to far from the action and the local drivers are terrible. But overall a very nice property, "

The condo was very nice and price was great, almost to good to be true. We enjoyed being right on the beach. When we were @ the condo we spent most of that time on the porch. Pictures are accurate. The resort does not offer free shuttle to downtown Punta Cana. You also have to call the front desk to have them to make calls for you. Wifi only worked best in the living room so I would suggest you bring a hotspot because we had trouble getting online and making calls from our cell phones. I would stay here again. If you are looking for a more relaxed atmosphere then this is the place for you. We did not get the all inclusive. I would recommend that they do a better job of cleaning the seaweed off the beach. Overall, a great place to stay. Be sure to walk 1 block over to visit local shops and restaurants. El Toro was great!"

"Blue Beach Condo
Loved the condo and it's proximity to the beach. Response time to any questions from Carla and Punta Cana Real Estate was great! Resort employees friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay"

"Lovely Property, Wrong Location
The condo itself was beautiful, clean, and well equipped and the view of the ocean is lovely. The pool is huge and was also great, with plenty of chairs and shade umbrellas. A/C worked well. We did have a problem with the shower in the master bathroom, which took two visits from a totally non-English speaking technician in order to get fixed, but it was eventually resolved, so that was good. There is construction going on as the complex is new and not completely finished yet, but the location of our rental (L101) was far from the construction, so it didn't really bother us. The problem with Blue Beach property is that it's not along the main strip of resorts in the Bavaro area of Punta Cana. The beach had too much seaweed and too much boat traffic. You can walk along the beach and feel relatively safe, but just outside the gates of the property on the street side, it is basically a shanty town with garbage in the streets and locals peddling items in shacks. You can't help feel sorry for the level of poverty that is present in the Dominican Republic, yet you really don't want to have to see it and feel guilty while you're spending your hard-earned money on a vacation. As an American tourist, I certainly did not feel safe going beyond the gates by foot. Unfortunately unless you're renting a car (which we should have done), you're stuck on this property or you're paying a minimum of $30-$40 dollars for a taxi in order to get anywhere. There is currently only one restaurant open at Blue Beach, so your food options are limited. The food was good, but the service very slow. We did take a taxi to a major supermarket about a 15 minute drive away to pick up some basics. My advice is stay up in Bavaro, or down in the Cap Cana area, and go to an all-inclusive resort with more food options and more amenities."

You couldn't find a better spot! The condo is steps from a wonderful beach. There is plenty to do in terms of water activities in the area. The condo is new and georgeous. The staff was helpful for anything we needed."
