PAYMENT TERMS:

TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM AIRPORT:

• If you need transportation to your rental property, we can send a trusted driver with a van to pick you up.

• The rate is US $35 one way for 4 passengers. There is room for up to 6 passengers with suitcases per taxi. US$5 extra per passenger.

• You pay the driver directly and keep his number for future transportation needs during your stay.

ELECTRICITY IS EXTRA AND BASED ON CONSUMPTION:

• The Dominican Republic is a developing country and it has it's challenges in regards to cost effective electricity distribution. Therefore, to encourage renters to conserve electricity during their stay, they will be responsible for electricity charges during their stay. Also, this allows us to offer lower rates since we do not have to include more $$$ per night to take electricity consumption into consideration.

• We collect an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT IN CASH UPON ARRIVAL. It is just a DEPOSIT, real consumption calculated at the end of your stay and deducted from the CASH DEPOSIT PAID UPON ARRIVAL. See deposit requirements below.

• Normal consumption is $5-10 per day for a 1 & 2 bedroom, $10-$15 per day for a 3 & 4 bedroom and $25-$30 for Villas in Cocotal Golf.

RENTALS LESS THAN 30 DAYS: We require an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT (CASH ONLY-UPON ARRIVAL) of US$20 PER NIGHT for 1 & 2 BDR's CONDOS, US$30 PER NIGHT for 3 & 4 BDR's CONDOS and US$50 PER NIGHT for VILLAS in COCOTAL GOLF.

The electricity meter will be read at check-in and check out. The meter can be self monitored daily. You will be charged at the current rate and deducted from the cash deposit. The difference will be returned to you on the day of departure.

A Reservation can be cancelled up to sixty-one (61) days prior to the arrival date and one hundred percent (100%) of the deposit will be refunded, minus the reservation fee of $50 and the cancellation fee of US$150. If cancelled between thirty-one (31) days and sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date, fifty percent (50%) of the deposit will be refunded, less the reservation and cancellation fees. There are no refunds for reservations cancelled within thirty (30) days of the arrival date. Any refunds on payments made using a credit card or PayPal will also have an additional 5% deducted from the original paid amount. Cancelled Reservations without proper notice will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit unless another reservation for the rental unit can be secured. Sub-letting is not permitted.

"Very long walk to the beach
The unit is a comfortable size, bright and airy, with lots of cross-ventilation and screens on the windows. There is a pleasant side patio, and it is ten steps away from the pool, which was never crowded or noisy. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. The furniture on the enclosed deck was comfortable enough, although we would have preferred a higher table for al fresco dining. The on-site manager was helpful and the pool, grounds, and gardens in good condition. The lively commercial strip of Cortecito with its shops, groceries and restaurants is nearby.
Within the complex, the exercise room was filthy with no wipes, or sanitizer, or other way to clean after oneself. The stone pathways are a tripping hazard; we opted to walk on the grass beside the paths, but our upstairs neighbor told us she had fallen twice. Although the unit touts itself as being a “walk to the beach,” it was not, for us. If you are healthy and several decades younger than we are, the 6-block walk to water will not be an issue. But the distance was way too far for us to make in the heat of the day, which is, of course, when you want to be at the beach. Within the unit itself, we would have appreciated having:
• instructions for the TV/cable
• a corkscrew (we purchased and left one)
• beach chairs—even if only to use on the side patio
• beach/pool towels of a decent size, as opposed to skimpy bath towels
• a chest of drawers
• a water cooler: this is an egregious lack. You try hefting one of those huge water jugs by hand!
• higher wattage bulbs in the fixtures; there was barely enough light on the table to see the dinner you were eating, let alone play a game after supper, and nowhere was there a good light to read a book after dark.
• WIFI that worked more than half the time
• a fly swatter
• wash cloths

"Great Place to Stay
If you don't want to stay in a resort, this is a great place to stay. The grounds are clean, the people friendly, and the unit was really nice. The property and unit were as described. It's quite a walk to the beach, though. I was glad I rented a car. The wifi was spotty until we got a new login but I would definitely stay here again."

"Wonderful Condominium and Amenities
Having vacationed with two young kids, the highlight of the complex was the pool which, along with the grounds were maintained nicely. The overall operation of the complex was superb, which included a security guard nightly, and its close walking proximity to the beach, market and bus line contributed to an enjoyable vacation. The apartment (C101) was very spacious and accommodated us (5 guests) perfectly, well stocked with towels, kitchen gadgets, pots, plates, cups, etc. as well as equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, washer, dryer, AC and ceiling fans, the latter of which sufficed to keep the rooms cool. While an electricity deposit was required at check in, our total bill came to a mere $22 for 9 nights, not bad if one consumes reasonably. The only issue we encountered during our stay was dealing with pesky mosquitos that would find their way in as the screen doors and windows did not provide a tight seal against the doors and windows. Other than that, this was a great place and I would highly recommend it!"

Overall stay was OK but property was not up to our expectations. Paint is peeling off a few walls, appliances were not in good shape (fridge light burnt, freezer rack rusted, coffee maker & toaster oven in bad shape, undersink cabinets damaged by water) and sofa bed mattress in dire need of replacement). Lots of bugs, musketoes, criters due to being on first floor.Property Manager (Go Punta Cana Real Estate) went beyond the call of duty to assist whenever needed to kudos AND thanks to the team."

"A Month Too Long !

Corte Sea
A complex of 4 buildings in condos (condos 6 by units).
An oasis in El Cortecito. Unfortunately neighborhood sound disappointing, near fields serves as dumps for locals.
Outside the complex,in the evening the inhabitants burn their waste, plastic etc.
The smell is hideous and not breathable. We had to close the windows of the condo.
The water of the swimming pool was blurred during the last week of our holidays.
The BARBECUE did not work for a long time.
Burners were rotten. We asked in our 1st week if it was possible to have it repaired. It was not the subject that Go Punta Cana Real Estate could help us because they manage about ten of condos out of 21 and the other owners only decides if to invest in a new burner.

In the description of this condo, it is stipulated that there is a dishwasher, it is false and there is none in the others.
The Best Part of our stay follows.
The ultra-fast and impeccable services of "GO PUNTA REAL ESTATE". A text and they were in there within the hour. The team of Scott Medina is just Great.
They put us in confidence and made our stay much more pleasant.
And less pleasant to follow.
Futhurmore our condo would have needed a good clean-up as well as a paint, walls were cracked, stain with insects crushed on baseboards in the bedroom and the door of bathroom.
There was lacking in furniture and tablets to place our lugages.

"Big Family Getaway
Our family arrived at 3 separate times and were picked up at the airport as requested and arranged with the management. The taxi company that works alongside the rental property was very helpful and accommodating; available 24/7. We were indeed walking distance from groceries, shops, and dining. We didn't find ourselves over paying for too many things. The most difficult shopping aspect is the DR Peso vs. US Dollar when paying for items. Our condo was supposed to sleep 8, as stated in the description of the condo, but unless you plan to double up this is difficult. We travelled with children aged 9-21 boys and girls and found sleeping a challenge as we had 3 girls and 3 boys. Our electricity was pay-per consumption and with 3 air conditioners going every night and 1 use of the washer and dryer we received a partial deposit back. The free wifi is a nice addition although was not always working well, unfortunately. We were pleasantly surprised when a bug exterminator came and sprayed the bushes which had mosquitos after a rainy day. Overall the property is lovely, the pool is large and has a wading area as well as a shallow and deep end."

"Worst Vacation ever
Lets just start with the good, which is its location to the beach and market. Now for the bad, pretty much the rest. This was the worst vacation i have ever had period. The condo was in poor condition and not taken care of which you could tell from the rusted fixtures. The water smelled like they were siphoning from the sewer system and i was scared to even shower or wash clothes. The vacation was so horrible i decided to take a huge loss and just go home rather than spend the rest of my time there."

"relaxed and enyoyable
Clean and safe place, whit a nice furnitured appartement. The fitnessroom ist not in a good condition, it needs here some reparations or new engines... The securitystaff is very friendly, and the way to the beach is only a few minutes to walk. The property management was friendly but not so professional, for the the check in we have to wait in front of the office to officehours, for the check out has the responsability person forgot us and we miss the buss to the capital. "

"Good Stay
nice location in terms of access to beach and other attractions. needs major up-keep in surrounding vacinity outside of condo grounds. a couple of restless nights due to pesky barking dog from a permanent renter. and a stray cat setting off the natural prowess of other dogs and pets. staff was a joy and pleasure to work with. neighbors courteous and friendly. immediate grounds were properly manicured and safely guarded. "

"Much needed family vacation
Did not know what to expect...but we were blown away by the beauty of the condo n complex!!! The staff was so professional and helpful, even allowing us to check a little early do some unexpected scheduling changes!! It is truly a short enjoyable walk to one of the most beautiful beaches on earth. When they said everything we could need/want was close they aren't lying!! Stores,shops,restaurants are a stones throw away!!! Karla and Anny are some of the nicest professional people in the business. We have had such a great experience that we have already began planning our next trip which will include the wonderful staff at & The Corte Sea"

"Nice Appartment and a neat Pool-Area!
The Appartment was like it was described: Fully equiped kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms. The Staff who welcomed us the next day was friendly and could gave us some advice for our stay.
Unfortuanatly in one of the bedrooms there was only one bed, so on of us 4 had to sleep on the couch, but it was okay.
The garden and pool area was very looked after and very clean. The walk to the beach was 5 to 10 minutes but most of the beaches were private hotel-beaches, so we had to search a little bit untill we found a spot to stay...
Overall a good place to stay if you don't need the all-inclusive luxus of a hotel."

"Great time
We had a wonderful time at our rental. At first I was worried because it was my first time booking with this agency but everything went smoothly. We were greeted and shown around the property. Scott was nice enough to tell is where to shop and visit. The unit was lovely. It was extremely clean with a great view of the pool. We loves our stay and will def be staying here on our next visit. There was 24 hour security who were also very helpful."

"Lovely rental!
The condo is spacious and as described. It really is only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Chairs are not provided, but would be handy. The complex is secure, and there is always a security guard on duty. We had a rental car, so getting groceries was not a problem. I recommend getting a car to find the better restaurants and to get out of the resort zone. The kitchen is stocked for basic cooking needs. There is a grill by the pool. If you only run the fans, not the AC, you can get most of you electric deposit back. We booked a tour through El Tour Caribe to Samana. The whales were amazing. I would definitely rent through Go Punta Cana real estate again. "

"Very comfortable, specialy for families with kids!
Nice and quiet neighbourhood, 15 minutes walk from Bavaro beach, everything You need for cooking at home is here, 24/7 guarded area, parking space if You rent a car, fresh fruits and foodstore at Your way home from beach ;) Loved our stay there! Plus professional attitude from Go Punta Cana Real Estate team. Definaty reccomend that property!"
