'Bayside Beauty' ~ North Shore 977 is located on the North side of the prestigious Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort. Destin beaches are known for their crystal white sand and turquoise Gulf waters of the Emerald Coast. This property is centrally located 2 miles away from The Village of Baytowne Wharf and 1.5 miles away from the beach access on the South side of the resort. Catch the free tram service to take you anywhere you want to go in the resort!

Enjoy this peaceful part of paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the Destin city-life while still being close to attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The 1,900 sq ft private townhome has three bedrooms, three bathrooms which sleeps up to 6 guests. Kick back and relax while enjoying the sparkling blues of the bay at your doorstep. Once inside, you will enjoy the spacious, bayfront living room with a huge flat screen TV and super high ceilings. A dining room table seats 6 and there are 3 barstools available. The stainless-steel appliances and fully-stocked kitchen are great for a home-cooked meal. Throw in some laundry in your full-size washer and dryer. Aztec influenced tile runs throughout the kitchen, dining room, and living room making cleaning up a breeze.

Your carpeted downstairs master bedroom hosts a king bed, perfect for lying in while watching TV. The attached bathroom has a single, extra long vanity space, toilet, and walk-in shower. Upstairs you will find another carpeted master bedroom with its own private balcony overlooking the bay. The king size bed and flat screen TV are ideal for mornings spent indoors. Private access is available to the master bath with a double vanity space, toilet room, and walk-in shower. Also upstairs, you will find your carpeted guest bedroom hosting a third King bed and their own TV. All the kids will enjoy this room with their own bathroom; a single vanity and tub are perfect for baths before bed.

"Bayfront disappointment
Rented property for a month based on quality of view and privacy. Unfortunately, condo was under renovation/construction, with many invasions of privacy (persons frequently on the upstairs balcony and enclosed porch; persons on ladders at window level). Views were blocked by workers and windows/porcg were taped and covered - blocking the view. Grounds were frequently covered in construction debris and unkempt. Management did not come to inspect and did not address concerns. Was never notified when cinstruction would be occurring, despite many requests."

"Absolute Nightmare
We woke up our first morning in the property to a construction crew climbing onto our bedroom balcony. A construction crew was working on the roof, which might have been bearable had it only caused noise, but the issue was a privacy and safety concern because they were accessing the bedroom balcony and throwing debris (nails, shingles, etc) onto the balcony and around all the exits, making it dangerous to stay and dangerous to leave. All exits were littered with nails, shingles, and other debris to the extent you could not avoid it while exiting. A nail went through my shoe while exiting which mercifully did not cause injury, but easily might have. We could not even use the bathroom due to it having a window through which the crew could see. Gibson Beach Rentals refused all responsibility for the condition of the property, claiming they had warned us of possible roof construction via a mass email (that went to our SPAM folder) and that that should have been sufficient notice. No text. No call. They claimed the email was all they were legally obligated to provide. We tried for three hours to get them to resolve the issue, to no avail. They wanted more money to relocate us and they refused to refund us. It was too dangerous to remain in the property due to the privacy and safety concerns, so we packed all our belongings and left that same morning. We have taken up the issue with VRBO who, thanks to the videos and photos we sent of the conditions, agrees we qualify for a full refund, which Gibson Beach Rentals has yet to provide. At the time I am writing this review, we have not received a single penny back. This is the most unprofessional and unethical company I have ever had the misfortune to work with."

"Incredible views!
The sunrise hits your face from the primary bed and you soak in the sunset from the primary balcony. From the balcony we saw stingrays, dolphins, crabs and various birds. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again! "

In the pass I would highly recommend this placed still would with some changes. the carpet need cleaningin bed rooms living room carpet need cleaning and tape down or removed trip hazard out side furniture need cleaning, No screen to patio door, screen door in bed needed to be repaired, screen up stairs bed room need replace, and mattress.Ground need repair holds and grass from the water bug were very bad this time. We love north shore but needed hope to see some changes."

"Beautiful view
Gibson is a great rental agency to go through. We have used them twice and each time we have no complaints. The app they use is very easy. The condo unit on north shore in the sandestin property really does need to be updated. The furniture, flooring and decor definitely need to be updated. The view is stunning and the beds were really comfy. Unit could’ve been cleaned better. Very nice resort with tons of activities to choose from. Great family vacation. "

"Loved this Place
My family and I stayed at this townhouse and it was great. The bay was quiet, serene, and relaxing. The bunks for the kids work out perfectly, and have two master suites made this spot even better. "Amazing Vacation!
This rental for the week was absolutely perfect for our two families! We enjoyed fishing in the bay, swimming at the beach, visiting Topsail State Park, The Track (putt-putt), renting a pontoon boat from Dockside, visiting Crab Island (inflatables fun for kids), walking the beach at night looking for shells and watching a pretty firework display! Beautiful sunsets from a prime location within Sandestin! Easy access to all that Sandestin (and Destin, really) has to offer. Very comfortable and spacious accommodations for our group of 6. "A Fall Beach Trip to Sandestin
We had a great trip to Sandestin. The weather and the beach were perfect!

Here are the pros and cons of the condo.
The Pros:
- the condo is in a beautiful location on the bay. We enjoyed fishing right outside of the condo and we loved watching the pelicans do their own fishing.

-Gibson runs a great operation. It is perfect combination of friendly staff and an excellent use of technology.

Cons:

-the carpet in the condo was dirty. It is a beautiful condo but it was hard to see past the dirty carpet. It put a question mark over the cleanliness of the entire condo.

-the sofa was broken down and was basically unusable.

-the condo is two story but it only has one HVAC unit which made it difficult to keep it comfortable downstairs and upstairs."

"Worse Vacation to Date-Very Disappointed with Gibson Rental
We traveled over 15 hours from VA to FLA expecting to experience an enjoyable vacation by meeting up with family that traveled from TX. Immediately upon discovering reported the screened in porch was ripped & detached at the bottom causing a big open for someone to fall through, screen door was also ripped, the refrig ice maker did not work, the beautiful stainless steel microwave did not work, to name a few. Gibson staff solutions were, no repair to screen porch or door, send over 2 Tupperware bowls of ice, ad deliver the old small white microwave that should have thrown out as trash long ago. Last but not least, my digital camera with over 1400 family pictures was removed from a backpack I left in the room and never returned. I was told the only
person(s)that went in the property after we departed was the contract cleaning people who gave the back to GBR, without the camera and SD card with family pictures. Not the enjoyable experience my family and I had planned for this vacation. "

This is our 3rd year as snowbirds in 977. We are here for 5 months and love the location, feels like we are in a houseboat being so close to the water. The staff at Gibson in awesome, always concerned that all is OK and we are enjoying our experience. Everything is great except the carpets and tile REALLY need a deep clean, too bad as 977 is truly a great unit, walk to Links golf, restaurants and fitness center."

Fantastic condo! Spacious and beautiful location right on the bay. My family of 7 had plenty of room. Fishing right in the backyard! Enjoyed watching dolphins as well.
