This 8th floor condo is in a mostly owner occupied high rise condominium building in the Arcadian Dunes section of Myrtle Beach. This beautifully renovated unit has tiled bathrooms, updated kitchen and granite counters throughout. There is a 65" flat screen TV in the living room and 55" flat screen tv's in both bedrooms as well as an ensuite bathroom for each bedroom and balcony access to see beautiful sunsets every day.

"Great Unit!
First I’ll speak on the Maisons as a whole. This is THE ONLY place I will stay in Myrtle Beach! It is a secure, safe, and fun place to take your family. My family has been coming here for over a decade. This was our first time in this particular unit. We normally stay on the 20th floor but our owners recently sold the unit. This unit is very nice. They’ve taken the wall out between the kitchen and living room. This makes it a nice open floor plan. Everything is updated and decorated very nicely. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. This unit seemed to be a bit larger than others I’ve been in. There are tons of seating for dining. The balcony is huge and will seat about 14 people. There is no view of beach/pool area from this balcony. Your view will be of the road but it’s not bad. We are accustomed to renting directly from the owner instead of the realty company. Your checkin time is later and you have to go get the keys, sign paperwork, etc. before going to the condo. You also have to take the keys all the way back upon departure. Suggestion: buy a lanyard to put the key cards on. It makes them easier to keep up with. Replacement cost is $200!!! Also, checkout time is 10 am. The cleaning crew was there before 9. Although they did not attempt to come in they did drop some of there supplies outside the door. I would prefer NOT to see them at all. Unit 806 is a very nice place and we will certainly return in the future. "

"Gorgeous condo-needs better cleaning/unexpected guest
We visited August 2020 for a 1 week vacation. Condo was updated and very nice looking.
Pros:
-place was updated
-large space with dining tables
-TV in every room
-wifi worked great
-beach front
Cons:
-bed sheets were not washed. Huge yellow stains. They placed 2 draw sheets on top to cover up yellow stain instead of washing the stained sheet. We washed it and it came right off
-dirty dish in the dishwasher and some dirty utensils in the utensil drawer
-one drawer with old dried food pieces
-unexpected maintenance guy came into our condo in the AM with no notice. We were woken up in bed with a stranger in our condo.

"Condo 806
The Condo is decorated beautifully, but the condo was dirty and the cleaning person had to come back and she was there until 9 pm out first night. She was very kind and apologized. North beach realty is the company we rented the condo from. You can’t get into your condo until 4:00. We had to wait until it was “cleaned” because we were there too early. Then when we did get into the condo, it was not cleaned. The realty office makes you drive to their office(5 miles from the condo to pick up keys and parking pass. So when you leave the same procedure is in place. This is not a good process. We drove 10 1/2 hours and then had to wait to pick up keys, wait to get into the condo, and the cleaning person was there until 9pm. The realty person seemed unhappy and we felt like we were bothering her. I will say that the person who was so nice was Victoria . She helped me with the cleaning concern and was right on it! The owners were friendly and they came to tie up the outdoor furniture because of the storm. I will say that we paid $3,000 for one week. We spoke to others on the beach that rent from maison sur mer and they only paid half of what we paid. The comforter on one of the beds was old and torn. But overall I would probably stay there again if they change the process of getting keys and going to the office. There has to be a better way."

"A pleasant week away
The condo kitchen and baths have been tastefully upgraded, and the building amenities are well kept. We enjoyed the quick walk down to the beach, and the large pool. The condo itself is in need of some new touches, like dining furniture and patio furniture. We noticed rusty patio furniture and duct tape holding some of the pieces together. The restaurant across the street was convenient for a quick bite. However, come closing time the bar patrons could be heard yelling and cheering from our 8th floor bedrooms. This woke us up on a nightly basis. My biggest gripe would be the rental company. I had to visit their office three times during my five day stay, and the visits were unavoidable. The first time to grab my keys in the after hours drop box. The second to fill out check in paperwork and have my credit card copied for the deposit. And the third to check out and return keys. In 2021, these check in/out policies are inconvenient and outdated. These items should be addressed digitally. "

"Amazing!
Loved this place! Elegant, home feel with wreath on the door, key code entry was super helpful. Immediate access to pool and beach, on site personnel very friendly. Excellent customer service, answered questions right away. SO clean, definitely recommend. Spacious. Spare bedroom does get warm but helps to lower shades mid day. Kitchen updated, great stay! "

"Great Place
This rental was located away from the busier boardwalk section, but that was just what we wanted. Near enough to go visit if you wanted, but far away from the hustle and bustle. The beach right outside the unit was clean, fun and convenient. The condo unit was very clean and functional. Would stay here again."

"Great condo & Location, not so great booking service
The condo unit & building are exceptional. This unit # 806 was super comfortable and roomy and had super large TVs in every room and an amazing kitchen. The parking is easy, game room is nice. Being on the beach is awesome! As for the booking service .... The fact that we had to drive over 5 miles to get our keys fobs and then again when we leave do the same thing is simply ridiculous! The booking agency North Beach Realty could have simply left the key fob packet in the room since we have a code to get in the room anyway! They can also have a box in the room to leave them in or get them from the room after we leave! Also, the Explorie attraction sites discount was useful and Susan was very helpful. Essentially, it saves you the cost of paying for 1 person in your group for each attraction you visit. You might have to wait a long time on the phone to make your discounted reservation, but was also due to shortage of call center personnel due to covid. "
