Treasure Cove truly is even more of a treasure now with new renovations inside and out. The style is modern but warm and boasts more windows for ocean views. Rinse off the sand with the outdoor shower then soak in the six person hot tub on the patio and watch sea life, fishing boats and all the ocean has to offer. Treasure Cove comfortably sleeps 6 and is great for a few couples or a family getaway. This custom, 1810 square foot, two story home located just a few houses away from downtown Trinidad has great ocean views and coastal access trails (Trail located directly in front of home leads to Trinidad Head & Beach). Relax by the fireplace and enjoy the large Smart T.V. Log on to Netflix and have fun watching your favorite shows and movies.

The three bedrooms plus two marble full bathrooms are located downstairs. Sleep to the sounds of the sea in the Main bedroom complete with slider to step out and enjoy the bay views, covered patio and hot tub. The Main bedroom has plenty of privacy w/ a King bed, T.V. and en-suite bathroom w/ shower. The 2nd bedroom also has a King bed, ocean views and direct patio access to the hot tub. This room also has a large flat-screen T.V. The third bedroom has a Queen bed. All bedrooms are very comfortable and well appointed. The second and 3rd bedroom share another beautifully marble tiled bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Upstairs is the living room, dining area, kitchen, and a conveniently located half bath. It has a very well equipped kitchen and brand new breakfast bar with everything a cook would need. The furnishings are modern, stylish and comfortable. The wood burning fireplace simply adds to the ambiance (complimentary wood supplied). You can also enjoy the upstairs expansive deck and grill on the propane barbecue while taking in the panoramic view of Trinidad Harbor.

We have provided FREE wireless internet, expanded cable T.V and a super fun finished garage complete with a ping-pong table, kids game area and bean bag chairs. Washer & dryer also located in the garage. This home is within easy walking distance of local beaches, pier, lighthouse, hiking trails, restaurants and Murphy’s Market. Please note there is not a fenced in yard but plenty of grass for the kids to play!

RESERVATION ALTERATIONS OPTIONS:
Guests cancelling less than 14 days to arrival may make a one time reservation date change for the same property, without a fee for the same calendar year, or renter may take a credit for a future stay at the same property, without a fee for the same calendar year. No rental refunds will be given for circumstances beyond our control such as planned or unexpected PG&E power outages, road closures, weather related issues or other “Acts of God”. When possible we will offer a one time reservation date change for the same property within the same travel season.

DAMAGE PROTECTION FEE: charges a $39 non-refundable damage protection fee. This fee protects guests for up to $500 in accidental damage that may include: stained bedding or linens; broken lamps, glassware and windows; damaged doors, walls or furniture; torn screen doors, etc. This fee does not cover normal wear and tear. After a guest’s departure and inspection of the home, management will notify the responsible party of any excessive damages including photos, a description of the damage and an assessment of the cost of replacing or repairing the damaged item that exceeds $500. Any cost over $500 required for this repair or replaced item will be charged to the credit card on file. We encourage guests to do a thorough inspection of the property upon arrival and notify management of any existing damages, stains, or broken items so as not to be held responsible.

COVID Related Cancellation - Cancellations made by either the guest or for any stays made after March 14, 2020 due to COVID-19 related circumstances such as: illness, transportation disruptions and cancellations; travel advisories and restrictions; health advisories and quarantines; changes to applicable law; and other government mandates—like evacuation orders, stay at home orders, border closures, prohibitions on short-term rentals, and shelter-in-place requirements will not be considered an extenuating circumstance and our cancellation policy will apply as usual. "Fantastic Oceanfront Views
We were a family of four adults staying in this 3-bedroom home for six days. We were so very impressed when we first arrived by the views outside the floor to ceiling sliding doors to the deck. The accommodations are spacious, the home had plenty of appliances, gadgets, linens, cutlery, etc. All necessary stores were conveniently nearby. Only negative is the heating system covers both levels and upper level is hot while lower bedroom and bath area is probably 10 degrees cooler.

The home was clean and well-maintained. We loved the view, the hot tub, the ping pong table and the location in town. We walked to restaurants, trails, the beach and the grocery store. The manager was able to arrange a little earlier check in time, since our flight arrived early. The cabinets do not have soft close doors, so we startled each other a few times when the cabinet doors slammed shut. This is literally the only improvement we could think of! We are in a different rental for our second week and miss some things. We appreciate the generous amount of towels and linens provided. We also now appreciate the curtains provided for light control in the bedrooms. You folks seemed to have thought of everything! "

Thgis unit is turning out to be one of our favorites BUT there are a few issues:

Wonderful home beautiful location easy to get to the beach redwoods. so much to do. Only complaint: The neighbors next door have a dog. It came over the first day while we were in the hot tub and barked at us from the rentals patio. The next day it came in the house through the upstairs sliding glass door and began to bark at us. Very unsettling. Neighbors were outside heard us yelling at the dog both days did nothing to get the dog home then when the dog got home the rewarded it by saying good dog. They neighbors dog on the other side was outside most of the time barking started at 630 in the moorning."

"A day by the northern bay
A small group of us came up for the weekend in May. The view was amazing! The house was clean and the kitchen is well stocked in terms in terms of appliances, pots/pans, etc. the beds were comfortable and I slept like a baby! We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving long weekend at Treasure Cove! Our favorite part was the amazing view out the many windows! Even when we experienced some nasty weather, we were thrilled to watch it while sitting in front of the fireplace! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to prepare our Thansgiving dinner! Sitting in the Hottub overlooking the water was wonderful! The location was centrally located to the sights we wanted to visit, such as Patrick's Point, various Redwood parks, etc. The town of Trinidad was quaint and lovely. "Perfect Getaway
We were family of 6. The home was very welcoming with several items of fun and interest for all ages.
Everything provided in the kitchen. Grandkids where in heaven in the garage, which was very clean and has 2 cabinets full of games and toys.
Hot tub relaxing of coarse, used in the early morning after a beach hunt for shells.
Just wish there was at least one more comfy chair in living room as “L” shape couch kinda small for 4 adults and off and on kids joining.

"Warm and cozy, with an incredible view
We needed a little getaway. Our stay was short but sweet. The house has a great floor plan, focusing on the harbor. We were greeted by the Supermoon and clear skies. The hot tub provided a great place to enjoy the moon light. The kitchen was well equipped. The wood pile was well stocked. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. There''s great little hikes to be had as well as groceries and restaurants within minutes. We are looking forward to our next stay."

"Great Location with awesome views!
My wife, son, daughter in law and 2 grand kids loved our time at Treasure Cove. The property is close walking distance to the beach, trail head, market and restaurants in the small charming town of Trinidad. There are great views from the house and hot tub. We loved having a fire at night and watching movies. We played ping pong in the garage and cooked in the kitchen. Everything was fabulous. "

"Wonderful stay!
Everything about this place was perfect. The view was magnificent, the decks were perfect for visiting in the warm afternoons after sightseeing, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped. I didn't realize this when we booked, but the garage is finished out and has a ping pong table and cabinets full of toys and games, which my niece loved. The hot tub also worked great (although highly chlorinated). I would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"Visit to the beach and redwoods with kids
This is the perfect place for a small group with the kids. The garage has a bunch of toys and the entire place is well set up. The only thing we couldn't find was a cutting board, which was surprising because they had everything else. We would definitely stay again! "

"Ok stay.... Location amazing... Neighbors not so much
The main reason that we stayed at this location was hot tub on the beach... The hot tub did not stay warm the 2nd night it was programmed to go onto a "sleep mode" after our first day we couldn't use it and there were no directions to post it. Also the neighbor to the left was very rude, kept staring at us, became very upset when our car alarm accidentally went off. Also there was a ton of fire wood but no kindling and it took us hours to find a tiny little hatchet. It was also a lot further away from the beach than expected. We drove to clam beach by arcana to see actual sand. I would consider coming back now that I know the run down, but the rate was too high for what we experienced our 1st trip there... Best part about our stay was the little cafe up the street. "

The house, the view, the town, and the weather was a great experience. It was perfect for 3 couples. The hot tub was such a delight. Even though the house looked a little dated in the pictures it was clean and had all the little amenities that we needed. the bathrooms had great upgrades! This was our second stay in the "Treasure Cove" home, and this time we were able to be there for a full week, including Christmas. " Cozy home with beautiful views
This is a very comfortable home with beautiful views of the bay Harbor. All three bedrooms are downstairs, two of which have king-size beds with ocean views. One of the king-size bedrooms does not have any closets which is kind of strange but other than that they are spacious and nice. The beds were very comfortable! The house is located in town and is very convenient for walking to restaurants and stores or, you could walk down to the beach or the trailheads. I felt like the house was clean, but it is older and showing some wear. If I were to voice a complaint it would be in the kitchen where the cabinets have substantially outdated spices and other condiments that should be tossed by the managers. It also was the least clean room in the house. Having said all that, we would come back here in a heartbeat because after all the biggest draw is the beauty of Trinidad in the ocean. One more thing to note, if you really need Internet, be prepared to possibly go without. It was very hit and miss while we were there often times being completely out. "

"4 stars to Trinidad treasure cove retreat!!
We can't say enough about how awesome this house and location was! The best part being the view from the deck and a 3 minute walk to the beach ! The only thing we think that could be different is new flooring. I have never been a fan of carpeting(which is all the bedrooms downstairs) and the kitchen flooring could be updated. Other than that, this place was very charming, clean , and has exceptional views, not to mention an extremely comfortable bed and bedding in the room that enters to the hot tub. Oh if were gonna split hairs , don't try and take nap or sleep later than others in morning if there are people upstairs, its very noisy, but again thats probably splitting hairs and the house is very old w charming intercoms in each room! I would def refer friends and would stay here again. Thank you for the great stay and great deal!"

"The Perfect Escape
Treasure Cove was the perfect escape from the Bay Area chaos. We loved waking up and walking minutes to breakfast or the beach. Our two dogs also felt right at home and loved the walks on the beach too! The only issue was that the WiFi was temperamental and only worked 1/2 the time. It was actually a good excuse to unplug for a few days. I discovered that life goes on without being connected all the time. Treasure Cove is the perfect location, clean and well furnished. "We loved our stay! Great location and comfortable home!
We spent a week at Treasure Cove with our daughter, son in law, and four month old grandson and our two Labradors. It was a close to perfect place for us! The harbor view is beautiful and the access to the beach is great. My only wish was that it faced the sunset! But we could easily walk down (5 min. walk) to the beach in the evening and watch the sunset over the ocean. It really is within walking distance to everything you need... The market, good coffee, local fish, even wine tasting! The beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was a very nice perk! It was a bit awkward that the only access to the hot tub was through the sliders on the second bedroom. The other awkward thing was that there was no closet in the second bedroom. Overall, we loved our time there and appreciate that we could bring our dogs who loved the beach! We will be back!"

Great location. Easy to book and deal with. Most aspects of home were clean... a few not so much. Coffee pot was not cleaned out (nor does it look like it has been in ages), drawers in bathroom were not cleaned (we did not use anyway- but it was noticed). However overall house felt clean. Provided a new sponge in kitchen (I know- random- but nice touch in my opinion). I would recommend to a friend and stay here again. Beautiful view, great access to nice beach. "

This is an awesome house in great location - not too secluded not overcrowded! Great views from the balcony, living room and two bedrooms. Two neighboring houses are very close on each side, but that didn’t bother me.

Found this to be a bit invasive as those guests had a direct site line into our master bedroom and living room. Not a huge deal but awkward. "Treasure Cove was outstanding!
This vacation home is in a great location. The photos don't do the home or view justice. The bay is much closer than the photos represent. It was so beautiful, relaxing in the morning on the deck looking out on the bay, (binoculars available), watching the fog in its mystical glory roll in, hearing the faint sound of the fog horn, the bell ringing on the buoy, the seagulls, the faint sound of waves... Two of our party still sleeping soundly due to size and layout of home. Evening sunsets from the deck amazing. Clear night (once) with incredible stars. (But i live in Chicago). Fire almost every night reading Little House In The Big Woods to 10 y/o. Explored region by day -- redwoods and beaches. Tide pools in area amazing. Lufenholtz or one near it the best. Trinadad State beach a couple minutes walk was great, good tide pools too. Very clean home (and I'm more than obsessive about cleanliness). Beautiful space, good restaurants, cafe exceptional, grocery store. Drove though Eureka and Orick and soooo glad we chose Trinidad instead. Small enough to feel the peaceful quietness, but with everything you need within walking distance, or close to it 5 min car ride. Perfect location for travelling north and south. So thankful this home exists where it is!"

"Needs an update
The house was perfectly adequate but very ordinary and the interior was "tired" and for that reason disappointing. We came for a wedding and many guests rented houses. Our property was among the most expensive but the least nice. The carpet is tired and needs to be replaced. The kitchen is absolutely no frills. The bathrooms are the nicest part as they have obviously been renewed recently. The beds were comfortable. The house has a nice view of the bay/ocean and a no frills hot tub out back. But the yard and landscaping are not very well landscaped or maintained. There is a lovely deck on the upper floor off the kitchen but nowhere to sit and relax outside. Overall, I would say that the property should have been "value" priced as it cannot compete with the more modern and luxurious other properties I saw that were proced comparably."

"Truly My Favorite House in Trinidad
I fell in love with Treasure Cove! It is a beautiful house with an amazing view. I literally cried when I had to leave because I wanted to move in forever! We love the Treasure Cove home overlooking the harbor. The view is beautiful as well as tranquil. The house's amenities allow for relaxing and socializing with family who are scattered around the country. We eat in and find the accommodations to fit perfectly
for our large group. During the day, family members go fishing, hunting agates along the beach or just take short hikes that lead from Trinidad. (Small issue) We felt a bit uncomfortable that the garbage cans were still full when we arrived from the previous
