"Relaxing time at Country Club Villas
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at #115 at Country Club Villas. The unit was very clean and well maintained. The view from the lanai was great. The entire property and parking area was in great shape. We would certainly recommend Country Club Villas and KNutson & Associates to all our friends."

"Best Big Island Vacation Rental
We spent a month in this country club villas condo with our elderly parents and it couldn’t have been better!
First, having Knutsen & Assoc as the property mgr is a definite plus! They ensure your check-in is flawless, reach out to you periodically to make sure everything is OK, and when the roller shade on the lanai wasn’t working, they sent someone the very next day and got it fixed!
It has a beautiful view of the ocean, breakfast, lunch and sunset dinners!
We prepare meals at home 95% of the time and the kitchen was so well equipped with everything we could possibly want for cooking and bbq.
Lots and lots of beach and bath towels and bed linens.
3 beautiful pools, designated parking, comfy furniture and beds, and Grocery and Drugstore within walking distance.
10 out of 10 !"

"Great Value
Great location - very close to Kona downtown. My family was coming without beach gear and fortunately for us this location provided beach towels, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, boogie boards etc. There is a hot tub at the property which is where we would spend our time in the evenings after a long day of fun. Area is quiet- no issues with neighbors or anyone on the property. Very convenient for families and the patio area was lovely for morning breakfasts."

"Sunset Heaven Every Night
Located on the 18th hole, looking west over the Pacific, we had incredible sunsets every night. Our unit was recently beautifully renovated, modern, very clean and comfortable. Close to golfing, beaches, restaurants and lovely walks. The property managers were very helpful and available if needed. We had a lovely vacation!"

"Gorgeous Views and Sunsets
This was probably the most well equipped VRBO rental we have stayed in. There were lots of accessories for the beach; i.e., umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, toys for kids, blanket, etc. The unit was very clean and we enjoyed having a large sized washer/dryer unit. Spent all of our spare time on the lanai enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean and golf course. Ate every meal outside. Enjoyed the pool areas especially the one at the end with the view of the golf course and ocean. Great new Weber barbecue which we put through its paces. Played 8 rounds of golf all over the Island."

"Quiet condo with a spectacular view
This is a lovely and spacious condo off the fairway of the 18th hole of the Kona Country club. The property is great, very quiet, access to 3 pools and a wonderful lanai with a view over the golf course down to Keauhou Bay and the ocean. It has 2 bedrooms as well as hide-a-beds in the living room and on the lanai. The private bbq is very convenient and the heat pump kept the unit nice and cool when the breeze wasn't enough. We were there for just over 3 weeks and loved every minute. "

"Great view, but noisey upstairs tenant. Carpet needs to go!
This rental was fine, biggest complaint is the noise from the unit above. They must not have carpeting, you can hear every thing they drop, dragging chairs...from the crack of dawn till midnight. Their privacy screen hits the metal railing and the sound reverberates into the unit!
Second is the carpet-it is beyond it's life-stained horribly. It SHOULD be replaced or removed! The fan blades and glass globes could use a good cleaning.
The beds and linens were excellent. The kitchen could use a few more items to make it nicer (popcorn popper, airfryer).
Marathon toilet paper is the worse-spring for a better brand. Garage stations have better.
The light above the outside door wasn't working when we arrived-it took a week to get fixed."

"Home away from home
We stayed for 2 weeks and it was a great stay. Great location, close to Kona which is where we wanted to be, and had a great view. Condo was very clean with lots of room. Our only negative was the issue with the master bathroom hot water, but Knutson & Associates sent someone out right away and kept us updated on the repairs. It wasn’t resolved while we were there but we figured out how to get hot water (no one could run any water at all while someone was in the master shower). Other than that it was a fantastic stay and hope to stay again in the future. "

"wonderful stay for two weeks
we had a wonderful vacation. everything we needed to cook many of our meals. accomodations were excellent for us. beautiful lanai and beach chairs for our trips to Kua Beach. comfortable bed and linens. 100% recommed and would love to visit again. pool was also perfect setting. grill on the lanai and perfect place for meals at night and breakfast in the am"

"Kona vacation
Directions and access to condo was very good.
Condo had plenty of towels and bedding. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. Very comfortable place to stay. View from the patio is awesome and fun to watch the golfers shank their balls into the trees :) We needed to stay another night and we were accommodated for that - very grateful. Kids loved the pool. A couple of things that should be addressed though. Upon arrival the sink in the master bath still had beard clippings from the previous occupant. The master bath shower door is grimy and needs a good scrubbing. Grout in the shower needs to be cleaned. Starting to turn orange. Upon arrival the A/C remote was missing. Had to wait a few hours for someone to drop it off. The carpet in the living area is reaching the end of its life and should be replaced soon. Kind of shaggy, stained and a big fold by the bar.
Overall a great experience. We would definitely stay there again. "

"Comfortable Tropical Living
Totally fabulous vacation at this condo in Jan and Feb, 2022. Tried to reserve it again for next year, but others were quicker. A comfortable condo with a fabulous large lanai right next to the golf course where we watched the sun set every night over the ocean framed by palm trees. Electrically operated sunscreens for the lanai were very much appreciated.
Half a mile away from small friendly boat harbor where we walked every other day. Could see the boats in the distance enter and leave the harbor from the lanai. We are bikers and also appreciated the ramp down from the parking lot next to out unit so we could avoid the stairs.
Kitchen well appointed (two sets of china and two sets of silverware along with the usual other stuff); beds comfortable. Lots of towels and washcloths. Management company responsive to the smallest request--very sweet phone calls to check whether we were enjoying ourselves every few weeks or so. Walking distance to a local supermarket (and a good beauty salon). We are so sad we cannot be here again next year. Highly recommend."

"Overall nice for the price
The condo is spacious and has a fantastic oceanview lanai right on the golf course. The fruit basket was a nice touch, and the private grill is an awesome amenity. However, there were some maintenance issues (broken outlets, etc.), and after several unhelpful calls to the mgmt company about missing items (like a bath mat for the dangerously slippery bathtub), it wasn’t worth giving up more vacation time to resolve anything else. We didn’t really need the additional charge for A/C to be comfortable, but I’d be concerned as an owner about the humidity’s long-term effects on the property by not running it.
I’d recommend this condo if a 2 bed/bath is important to you and/or if you plan to spend a lot of time on the lanai, but this wasn’t my favorite in the Kona area, so I would likely choose to stay elsewhere for future trips."

"Birthday celebrations
Overall the rental was what I had hoped for. Location was good to all we wanted to see and do and close to family. I would suggest that manuals for appliances be available, guessing on how to use them was a challenge. The front door lock was also a challenge, difficult for those with arthritis in their hands. The beach umbrella was bent and unusable, but otherwise the other items were in good shape. Thank you for the gift basket, it was lovely. I would stay on this property again and recommend to others. "

"First time to the Big Island
We had a wonderful time at Country Club Villas. The experience was wonderful right from the start. Blake and his staff made sure we were comfortable and had all of questions answered throughout the booking process and upon arrival to our condo. Upon entering our condo we were instantly impressed. Both bedrooms were large with comfortable beds. Both bathrooms were large and the kitchen was very big with new appliances. The washer and dryer were new and upscale. The living room was spacious with nice comfy furniture. The lanai was huge and the view across the golf course was calming. The property is located in Keahou making it very easy to access Kona but yet you have more quiet than if you are right in downtown Kona. Magic Sands Beach is a tremendous breach 5 minutes away. The only drawback is the keys. They sometimes worked for the pool and tennis courts and sometimes they didn’t. The house key would work but it wasn’t easy to use. Oh what a mess. Scrap all the keys completely and start over with a new system. Besides that it was very quiet and the condo contributed mightily to a memorable vacation. "

"Kona Getaway
The Country Club Villas unit 115 is a perfect place to stay when visiting the Big Island and staying in the Kona area. The condo is very roomy and has a beautiful Lanai overlooking the golf course and the Pacific. The Lanai is a perfect place to gather and have your meals. The location of the unit in Keahou is a perfect starting point for traveling around the island. Convenient to Keauhou is shopping and restaurants. Knutson and Associates who manage the property took great care of us. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Kona."

I really enjoyed my stay. First time I rent with Knutson& Associates and experience best service from booking to checking out. The Condo iitself was perfect was clean and ready when i checked in. Contact person while i’m at tje condo was so responsive, i never add the AC for my stay, find out that i need AC called up the contact person( blake) he did it same day. I am sure i will be back to rent with Knutson& Associates."

#115 is amazing! Great space - comfortable and functional. High quality beach gear (boogie boards/beach chairs/cooler) was a plus.
Having three pools at the complex was an added benefit as none of them were ever very busy.
Location close to a great surf beach made it easy for our surf days to get out on the water early.
Property Management company was extremely responsive . The only thing we would choose to change about the property is having carpet throughout.
If you are staying here I would suggest investing in the added expense of air conditioning ($10/day) as it really cooled off our unit at night for a great sleep. "

We had a wonderful stay in the Country Club Villas. The view looking over the golf fairway to the ocean is beautiful. The property is well represented on the website. The kitchen had everything needed to cook meals. The bed was very comfortable, we slept great. Fans in every room and screened doors helped to keep the unit comfortable. (We did not use the air conditioner.)The location was great for exploring the beaches south in Captain Cook and north along Alii Drive. Shopping and dining all close by also. Sam Choy is a must for the view at sunset. Great place to stay and would return again. "

"Life on the Lanai
We stayed 3 weeks in November at this wonderful place; the location is perfect & it was a 50% occupancy at this time of the year.
Often was alone in one of the 3 pools.
On the negative side, the lanai door closing mechanism should be replaced, the bottom lock is just a gadget.
The more recent TV is located in thde 2nd bedroom, was the only one to connect to Netflix & others."

Really fantastic vacation tied with the annual Ironman world championships. The condo was well located with easy access to Kona via the trolley bus and great views over the golf course and coast. Accommodation very spacious with all the facilities needed including barbecue."

"We will definitely return
We stayed in CCV 115 for 40 days. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. In case of need, the communication was excellent with the manager of the condo. Everything worked out very quickly.
I was afraid to hear the noise from the Allii Drive, but this condo is quite far from this street and it was very quiet on the side of the master bedroom which has a wonderful view. The resort is very well run, very quiet and very clean.
The benefits of this condo are the view, the comfort of the beds, the tranquility, the big kitchen, the 3 pools, the tennis courts and pickleball (we learned to play and it's great!), the tennis rackets and pickleball, 2 Tommy beach chairs, great cooler, Weber BBQ directly on the patio, flowers and fruit basket on arrival, full size washer and dryer, both bathrooms, parking very close, grocery store very near, proximity to Kona and communication with the property manager if needed.
We chose not to take air conditioning because at $ 10 per night and for 40 days the cost was too high for us. It was very hot during the day of our stay (july, august) and there were no tradewinds, but the many fans did the trick.
We will definitely return."

"Great condo!
Upon enetering this condo, the first thing you see is the beautiful ocean view! Condo is very well maintained, well stocked with dishes and any seasonings you might need for cooking. Also everything for the beach- chairs, umbrella, cooler, and beach toys. Condo is clean and everything as far as the appliances all worked. The lanai is really nice, like another room. The complex is quiet and well maintained. Located close to shopping and a few restaurants. Kahaluu beach park is close by which is a popular snorkle beach and Kona is a short drive down the road. We were there in May and it was very warm. Next time I would pay the extra for use of the air conditioner although there are ceiling fans in all the rooms. Management provide alot of communication if you ever need anything. I would highly recommend this condo to friends and family."

"The BEST Condo and BEST Management Support!
I stayed at this wonderful condo (by myself) for almost 2 weeks in May. I come to Kona every year, and this is by far the best condo I have rented (out of at least 7 in the past).
First, the management support was outstanding. I noticed the condo did not have a blender (for my morning smoothies), and by the first evening they brought me a new blender! The next day I noticed there was no tea kettle - that was also delivered the same day! When I called with questions, they answered the phone and took care of things.
The condo was amazingly clean - no bugs, and no roach bait that I have seen in ALL the other places. I also totally appreciated that there were supplies for the bathrooms and laundry. Everything was there!
The location was very quiet with a wonderful ocean view. The golf course was also quiet. I loved to sit on the lanai for breakfast and in the evenings. They supplied an excellent pair of binoculars to see the birds on the grass or the boats out on the ocean.
The condo was so nice and quiet - even when there were people upstairs, I did not hear them. The beds seemed new. I found a wonderful memory foam topper on the second bed that I used in the master bedroom, and it made all the difference for my quality of sleep!
I always stay in Keauhou - the location is wonderful. The shopping center is a few minute's drive, with Longs, KTA, and some good restaurants. The best snorkel beach (Kahalulu)is also less than 5 minute's drive. And, access to Highway 11 is just up the hill.
This will definitely be my condo of choice for my future trips! It felt like home, and I was very sad to leave. Thank you Blake and staff for the great service, and to the owners for sharing the lovely space."

"Fantastic property and location
Stayed here with my family for 2 weeks in early March. Instructions to get here from the airport were clear, and check-in was smooth.
The condo was clean, spacious, and well stocked for an extended stay. In the morning we were treated to a gorgeous view of the ocean from our Lanai. The condo is also ideally located in a quiet area, which is also close to grocery stores, restaurants, and a short drive/walk form excellent snorkeling.
Any concerns we had were eagerly and efficiently resolved by the staff at Knutson & Associates. Next visit to the big island I will be on the lookout to rent this same property again. Fantastic vacation!

We had a wonderful stay!!! The condo was accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities (there also was a pickleball court on one of the tennis courts which was an added bonus!), and views. We LOVED the view! Great customer service, and we would DEFINITELY recommend this property! We walked to the grocery store/pharmacy/restaurants in the area. We LOVED this location and property!"

We lived out on the lanai, and used the barbecue for most dinners. The views across the eighteenth fairway to the trees and the ocean were always picture perfect in the morning, at sunset, or during a tropical downpour! "

"Wonderful location and setting
Excellent accomodations with well appointed kitchen and baths, very nice lanai great for early mornings and evening sunsets, barbeques! Kitchen wasn't stocked as well as other VRBO's we have stayed at but it is primarily because of the humidity and to keep from attracting insects-which there were NONE. Very clean! Just be prepared to stock up on some things."

The condo was clean and the kitchen was amazingly stocked with everything we could need. The unit was very central to everything and quiet. We loved sitting on the comfortable lanai and taking in the golf and ocean views. The breezes coming in made our stay very comfortable.
